It is time to get this diary going! I started this girl a while back and have been hiding her in a corner. Meet Aurora. She is a Nirvana Northern Lights Auto female and looking forward to blessing my pax. She is a few weeks in and i will get her up to the correct date. From there I will keep her up to date weekly.
She is in 80/20 FFOF/Per-Lite inside a 1g (3.8L) pot. Small one for testing to see how she does. Plus it was my only pot at the time. I even had to steal it from the banana plant I put outside, which was stolen from a friend out of his yard! I have 4 more seeds if this does well. I guess they are gonna get planted no matter what at some point though.
I did buy more pots.
Aurora is just moving along like a good little girl. She is still you and no signs of sex, at least not for another week or so. Just pushing out the leaves and looking real pretty
Still catching up on the diaries so they can be somewhat up to date, last one and we are at that point (almost). This week Aurora became a female. On day 19 she showed sex, yay! Also this week I experimented with pony-tailing, Aurora was not a huge fan of it as you can see in some of the pics. I stuck with it to get her lower branches to catch up. She is looking real happy now. Also started her on the same feed schedule as Sky, but I dilute the mix a little. Since she is in a 1g pot, I get to water her more often.
She is still stretching all over the place. The pony tailing did nothing for this girls main as it is still stretched WAY up there. She is on a stack of CD cases to keep her from going too high. Once one of her sisters is out of the tent, she will lose her booster seat.
Aurora is moving along nicely. She is really reaching with her main stem/cola. This 1 gallon pot requires watering every day now since it dries out fast.
Aurora is really stretching that main cola and all the rest are stay fairly even. She is thirsty every day so she gets 1L of PH water each day between feedings. Have at least 2-3 weeks left on this girl and she looks like she is gonna give a nice harvest. There is an odor there, but not nearly as much as the Skywalker i had in the tent. Very low odor for those looking for that. I wouldn't give up my filter though just in case.
Another week of this amazing Nirvana Northern Lights grow. She is really pushing along and frosting up. Looking at an early to mid September harvest.
Missed pics on day 56 and a few after due to personal issues. Sorry people.
I failed to get pictures every day this week. This girl is still pushing along and looking good. She sucks up 750ml or water or water and feed every day. Starting a flush on day 63 and going for at least a week, probably 10-12 days.
This little girl is getting close. I started flushing on day 64 and should be a 10 day flush. Really like the way this girl turned out. These nirvana seeds really are nice and durable with very little odor.
Overall, the Nirvana Northern Lights Auto was a great grow. She went 75 days and was ready to be chopped. I could have taken her another 5 days if I started my flush a little later if I wanted more couchlocky feeling. I have 3 more of these seeds and look forward to growing those some day. Took a while for Nirvana to ship them and get them here (31 days) but great genetics. Even though she was in a small 1 gallon pot and required daily watering after day 50, she pushed along. A 2 gallon pot would be the sweet spot I think for her.
She was chopped on day 75 and dried in paper bags for 5 days. Larger main cola did hang dry 1 extra day. It is all curing in jars with boveda 62% packets in them. The test was amazing and looking forward to a few weeks of cure to see what it does.000
