Banana Purple Punch Outdoor

Gingobeaz And here she is. Germinated on 05.06.2025 in her 30L fabric pot. I added 1 g/L Greenhouse feeding bio grow and 2 g/L bio Bloom to the substrate on the recommendation of the grow store. I watered the pot with 1.5L pH regulated water to 6.0 and 1 g/L enhancer. Let's see how it continues!

Gingobeaz As usual, not much happened in the first week. So watering now and again and that's all there is to do.

Gingobeaz Week 3, day 15, started with topping the plant. I've done this with almost all Automatics so far and it has always worked very well. Greetings go out to Greenthumbjacobscraft from Fastbuds who always topped his autos quite early with great results. The big headbud was probably going to get Budrot outdoors anyway, so it's better to get some smaller buds. Otherwise, it was only watered now and again when the soil was superficially dry.

Gingobeaz Training continues in order to drive the 4 main shoots apart. The shoots are bent further outwards every 1-2 days. Otherwise it was only watered with a little Calmag. I think it will go outside next week. ☀️

Gingobeaz The plant is really getting going. It went outside in week 5. It is showing the first signs of pre-flowering with white pistils on the nodes. The training seems to be paying off with nice even shoots. Apart from a little Calmag, no fertilizer was applied. Let's see how it grows!

Gingobeaz The pre-flowering is already coming through well. Unfortunately, the weather in Germany is not quite playing along. Nevertheless, I gave 30g Greenhouse feeding bio grow and Enhancer today on 13.06.2025. In addition, I give an FFJ from bananas to support flowering. (2ml/L) The training has paid off, but is still being continued here and there. There are a few bite marks here and there. I may get some neem oil as long as the flowering is not too far advanced.

Gingobeaz Even though the weather in Germany leaves a lot to be desired, the Banana Purple Punch is doing quite well. A little LST was applied and lightly defoliated. It is also slowly starting to develop purple flowers, something I have rarely seen at this early stage. I'm really looking forward to the flowering!

Gingobeaz The German summer is once again showing its worst side. Accordingly, a lot of potential falls by the wayside, although the genetics perform reasonably well. The purple buds are slowly swelling. It was only watered with my FFJ from Banana when needed. (1:500) That's all there is to it.

Gingobeaz Unfortunately, the weather didn't play along at all. Nevertheless, she is doing quite well, which I attribute to the good genetics of Fastbuds. The buds are still a little swollen and she shows no signs of a lack of fertilizer. Slowly a very pleasant sweet fruity smell is coming through. I made some FFJ from 800g bananas + 800g brown sugar. Very cheap to make and absolutely nice to support organic grows!

Gingobeaz It's going into the last 1-2 weeks I think. Summer is coming back and giving it enough energy to finish ripening. The little grasshoppers leave little puddles on the leaves from their bites, which leads to a little mildew, but it doesn't spread any further. I keep an eye on this and remove any buds that have fallen. Autumn is also slowly setting in and the leaves are slowly turning yellow. Even if some leaves indicate a deficiency (think Calmag), I won't do anything more here apart from some Biobizz calmag.

Gingobeaz It's time for the final spurt! Not much more is happening here. Judging by the trichomes, she can still do something. I'll wait until the weather gets worse and then she'll be back in about a week. It was a good grow. Can only report positive things about the Fastbuds genetics, growth, mold resistance, appearance, resin production and terpenes definitely good for the outdoor conditions in the German “summer”.

Gingobeaz Und Ende! 75 Tage nach Einsetzen in die Erde ich die Banana Purple Punch fertig. Die Terpene riechen sehr lecker. Wahnsinnig viel Ertrag kann ich nicht erwarten, um im Legalen Rahmen zu bleiben wirds trotzdem etwas zu viel sein. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Strain den ich definitiv wieder anbauen würde! Auch die Greenhouse Feeding Bio line hat mich absolut überzeugt. Den nächsten Indoor grow werde ich allerdings auf Kokoserde mit Athena Pro line starten. Seid gespannt 🏼 ______________________________________ And the end! 75 days after planting in the ground, the Banana Purple Punch is ready. The terpenes smell very delicious. I can't expect an insanely high yield, but it will still be a bit too much to stay within the legal limits. All in all, a very nice strain that I would definitely grow again!
