ROOTIES outdoor summer grow 2025

Now I'm catching up and wish you all a lot of fun with it. Day 10: The second true leaf pair is appearing. All three have received a shower with horsetail extract (2mL/L). Horsetail strengthens the cell walls of the plants. You can really feel how strong the horsetail-treated plants are when you run your hand over the seedlings; they spring back like a spring. Day 13: The Royal Medic is growing the fastest; it also has the larger leaves. Next is the Power Flower with slightly smaller leaves. The Special Kush looks a bit delicate. I'm using BioBizz All-Mix again, moistened 2 days prior, along with the root stimulator from Neudorf. I planted the plants at an angle to facilitate LST. As a treat, there were also SF nematodes and lacewing larvae for everyone. Day 34: All 3 handled the transplanting well, and the branches are developing nicely. If you liked it, come back again ✌️😎

I'm using BioBizz All-Mix again, moistened 2 days prior, along with the root stimulator from Neudorf. I planted the plants at an angle to make LST easier. As a treat, there were also SF nematodes and beneficial nematodes for everyone. Day 38: Started LST. Since the plants were transplanted at an angle, bending them was much easier. Day 108: The trio had the shortest night of the year yesterday. From now on, the days will get shorter. I'm curious when the three girls will start flowering. The Royal Medic fem. is 105 cm, the Power Flower fem. is 128 cm, and the Special Kush #1 fem. is 135 cm tall. Also, I forgot to mention that horsetail extract from Neudorf is being sprayed on the leaves and added to the nutrients according to the package instructions. That's why there are hardly any insect damages to observe. Field horsetail strengthens the cell walls. When cannabis seedlings are sprayed with field horsetail, they bounce back when gently bent. Day 112: The girls are showing clear signs of pre-flowering, which is more noticeable to the eye than in the photos. I didn't expect this yet; I thought it would take longer. They're now getting the full cocktail treatment. Today was the last complete spraying with Neudorf's horsetail extract. The wind wasn't too strong today, but you can see how sturdy the three are in the videos, thanks to the horsetail. And I added predatory mites (Hypoaspis miles) from ÖRE Bio-Protect directly on the soil surface; you can see the hustle and bustle with the naked eye. Goodbye fungus gnats, thrips, and co. By the way, the strange branch of the Royal Medic fem. is wedge-shaped like a V, not just flat or level; it looks interesting and, above all, stable. Oh, and last night rain was forecast, so I put the girls under the balcony. While doing that, I felt something soft under the pot of the Power Flower and got quite a shock, feeling something soft where only drainage stones usually remain. Anyway, I quickly rubbed everything away in a panic and only then saw that it was all roots growing through the bottom of the fabric pot. Apparently, it hurt me more than it hurt them. From now on, I’ll carry them with their saucers. Day 117: In the morning, 1.5 liters of cocktail, in the afternoon 39 °C, blazing sun, hardly any clouds, in the evening 1.5 liters of pure well water. Day 121: The trio has endured a hot week with temperatures up to 39 °C and clear skies, along with tropical nights at 21 °C. Just the day before yesterday, they were under the balcony overnight due to a short but heavy rain. Watering is now done in the morning and evening. The Power Flower is 155cm tall, the Royal Medic is 125cm, and the Special Kush is 158cm. Day 122: Today there are strong gusts of wind, and as you can see, size isn't always an advantage, as can be seen with the Special Kush. Online, you can already see the next rain coming. So, the three are safely sheltered from the wind and rain for now. Day 124: What a temperature drop, 18 °C maximum temperature during the day, 10 °C last night. If you liked it, come back again ✌️😎

They will continue to be watered 2x a day with 1.5 liters each, and the horsetail extract is only given once every 14 days. Day 135: Very windy and a gloomy sky; the big ones are spending the rest of the day under the balcony. Day 136: Unfortunately, still not the last rain; a bigger thunderstorm is rolling in. Day 138: What a sh... weather!!! I'll spare you the pictures today; the three beauties are still under the balcony, staying dry. Every few hours there’s a heavy rain shower, and I don't want to be moving them around that often. And one more thing, the three are already in their fourth week of pre-flowering; I'm not used to this, as it takes quite a bit longer with the regulars before the flowering really kicks in. The hops are clearly showing the beginning of flowering in the south, while the three big ones are still only showing pre-flowering. Maybe they are a bit confused with the light changes they've been exposed to in the last few weeks. Day 166: I loaded Photone on my Xiaomi, which shows 1600 PPFD (µmol/m²/s) under clear skies and full sun. I can't say how realistic that value is or how it compares to specialized measuring devices; I just have a reference point. The three big ones are now being watered 4-5 times a day. Today it's back to 31°C, with 22% humidity it's very dry, and there's hardly any wind. The well has been closed due to a lack of water, and the stream is now just a small trickle. Day 167: Rain is forecasted; the three big ones are under the balcony. It poured around here, while it drizzled for 10 minutes here, and since then it's been heavily overcast but dry at only 22°C. Day 206: Took advantage of the nice weather and defoliated the three big ones a bit. It was a large handful of leaves each, but you can hardly see it. With the amount of leaves, I’ll be doing this a few more times. The big grasshopper is allowed to hunt for prey in the cannabis. Day 207: The three beauties were quite wet this morning, so I defoliated them again to let more light and air in. Day 208: Took some photos of the three trees around noon. The Power Flower fem. has developed very nice colors. Day 217: Today, it took until after noon for the fog to clear. Day 218: The Power Flower fem. and Special Kush #1 fem. haven't received any water since Sunday. I removed a lot of leaves today. The Royal Medic fem. is still getting her cocktail; she won't be harvested yet because there's just not enough on her. Day 220: Today is again a moon high point, just 5 days after the full moon, flowering day, last harvest day, and first sowing day, ideal for harvesting. This time I made a film of the trichomes from each lady; you can clearly see the many cloudy trichomes and some amber ones. Looks good. From the Power Flower fem. and Special Kush #1 fem., I took the 3 strongest branches each. I'm really glad I only did a partial harvest; otherwise, I would still be trimming for the rest of the week. There are bud trimming machines; maybe I'll get one next year, we'll see. Until now, I've always harvested the whole plant and hung it to dry and then trimmed it dry. This time I used the DryFerm Bags, so I trimmed wet for the first time. The result was a bullseye, 256 g from the Power Flower and 257 g from the Kush after trimming. The Royal Medic stays as she is. Growbody Hello and welcome to my final report for Outdoor 2025 with the strains Power Flower Feminized, Royal Medic Feminized, and Special Kush #1 Feminized, all 3 from Royal Queen Seeds. This is the first time I've used pots for the outdoor grow; until now, all my Gorilla grows were planted directly in the ground. As soon as the weather allows, the plants should go outside. Day 249: The final harvest of the Power Flower feminized from Royal Queen Seeds is here. I trimmed the 103 grams of wet buds from around 5 PM until well past midnight. The buds have a nice purple color. With the first harvest from October 12th, that makes a total of 360 grams of wet trimmed buds. The buds are drying in the DryFerm Bags in the basement until the weight remains unchanged for 3 consecutive days. Then, the remaining moisture is about 60%. This is the gentlest drying method I know, hardly any smell in the basement but a full load of terpenes when you open the bags. Absolutely recommended. Day 251: I also took a photo of the drying plan and my DIY pollen machine. I'll show you the result of the sieving when the time comes. On the drying plan, you can see that the Special Kush #1 fem. (SK#1 1) still weighed 125 grams on Sunday and today, 3 days later, only 74 grams. In this bag alone, 51 grams of water have evaporated in that short time. Day 252: The leaves of the Power Flower feminized have been completely sifted, and the jar is almost full. I prefer this method of leaf utilization over making cannabutter.
