Finn_weedman There are some mutations in the three Candy Bubatz plants. The leaves have grown strangely and there are a few light spots on them. I remember the last time I grew this same strain, there were also those color and mutation issues at first, but still, the plants ended up growing normally and well. We'll keep an eye on what happens. All three Black Hazes are doing well.

Finn_weedman Candy Bubatzit looked a bit rough at first. This is probably due to the genetics because the last time the plants did the same thing. Now after a week of nutrients, the plants are making healthy new growth, so I'm not worried about the ugly leaves. Black Haze is growing very well. One of the three plants is smaller than the others. Otherwise, everything is good. The light intensity has been around 32.5% this week, and I'll raise it to 40% as soon as the lights come back on. I can't say yet if the blue supplemental light is beneficial. The plants might have grown a little faster than without the supplemental light.

Finn_weedman The plants are growing really well and are happy. A few plants show slight signs of overwatering, but otherwise, they are healthy. I've noticed that the blue supplemental light affects the plants. The stems are much thicker compared to previous experiences. And I notice that the plants are more flexible, which allows for low-stress training even though the stems are thicker. With the next watering, I plan to start flushing to find out the soil's pH level. I'm also leaving out the root nutrient and replacing it with a soil booster but at a lower dosage. It's just frustrating this summer, which brings temperature issues. It's already 29 degrees in the tent, and if it rises above 30 degrees, I'll start using a portable air conditioning unit.

Finn_weedman The soil pH level of the plants was around 6, which is too low and it started to show in the plants' health. Because of this, I've been giving the plants nutrient water with a higher pH level to raise the soil pH to 6.5. The plants are reacting well and already look happier. One of the Black Haze plants has had oddly shaped leaves from the start. The plant is growing at a normal pace and otherwise looks completely healthy, its leaves are just ugly. It's interesting to see what this plant will produce. There's definitely a lot of work to do since I do everything by hand. I should get a runoff table for under the plants to make watering easier.

Finn_weedman This week has been challenging with the temperature and humidity. The summer weather makes this difficult. I think the pots for the plants aren't big enough. Normally, I grow in 15-liter pots, but I decided to try these smaller 12-liter pots for this project, and I've noticed that the plants are growing worse. The roots are big for the pots, and because of this, the root system can't breathe properly. In the future, no more small pots. I think I'll stick to just six plants and use only 15-25 liter pots. Well, at least I tried this out.

Finn_weedman Everything is going well in the garden. I've managed to keep the temperature in check, even though there were some small challenges last week. You can't control everything, and you have to go with the flow of nature. I do have a portable air conditioner, but there's no other air duct in the room where I could connect a hose to vent the hot air out. Because of this, I can't use it. Luckily, this summer has been cooler. We'll tackle the challenges as they come up.

Finn_weedman This week is really hot!! I have to keep all the ventilation windows open, otherwise the temperature inside the tent rises above 30°C. I can't keep the tent door open because the smells would spread to the neighbor. I've managed to keep the temperature between 29°C - 30°C. I was thinking of starting a flush on one of the Black Haze at the end of the week. It's grown really fast and made thick buds.

Finn_weedman All the plants are doing well. I thought today is the harvest time for Black Haze, so let's flip the girl and put her to dry. Candy Bubatz can grow for another 2-4 weeks at least before it's their harvest time.

Finn_weedman Now we're getting to the finish line. I've already started flushing one Candy Bubatz. The buds are thicker and really resinous.
