MojoDojo Mother plant from regular seeds - T.H. Seeds Gelato33xZkittelzxBirthdayCake - from which some cuttings were taken and brought to root in the propagator. The best-rooted cutting will then go into the Terra Aquatica CultiMate S 15L aka. GHE Waterfarm after propagation. The pH level of the water is at 5.8, water temperature is at 22°C, and no nutrients or root stimulants are used otherwise. This process should take a maximum of 2 weeks.

MojoDojo The cutting is slowly taking shape. I find the spacing of the nodes a bit too small. Still, it's growing quite slowly; I've now increased the nutrient solution to 1.7 EC, and it's getting greener and growing a bit faster. The pH is at 5.8. I think the growth will speed up now...

MojoDojo So, since the tent is only 160 cm high and this is just a hydro test, I'm going into flowering now, even though I would have liked to let them grow for another 2 weeks. I will remove a few shoots to give the plant a more manageable shape. The nutrients will stay the same for now (EC1.7) and will be switched to Canna Aqua Flores in 2 weeks. The nutrient solution will, of course, be changed every week.

MojoDojo The plant has been receiving Canna Aqua Flores since the 12th day of flowering, as clear flower clusters have already formed. EC: 1.8 PH: 5.5 Additionally, I added an extra oxygen pump (stone) to the nutrient reservoir, as the roots are already growing from the clay pebble bed into the reservoir. It runs 24/7, while the main pump (drip) operates in a 15-minute interval, 15 on and 15 off.

MojoDojo Now the plant looks really magnificent. The flower buds are forming extremely quickly, and the roots are doing the same. In the photo, you can see how massive the roots are growing out of the clay pebble reservoir into the nutrient tank. I placed an oxygen stone in the tank a week ago so that the roots can take in enough oxygen and the nutrient solution stays nice and fresh. The EC has been raised to 2 and the pH is at 5.5. I'm really curious to see how it goes from here.

MojoDojo Last week! I noticed that it's finishing a week earlier in DWC than in soil. The nutrient solution is now at 0.3 EC. You can see some burn on the main bud from the fan, which unfortunately doesn't oscillate. Otherwise, the buds look just amazing and everything is very healthy and resinous.

Diese Sorte ist definitiv zu meiner Lieblingssorte geworden, weil sie süßlich, fruchtig und würzig zugleich ist. Dieser Geschmack kann einen nicht über werden, im Gegensatz zu anderen Sorten, die einfach nur süß sind und fruchtig hier hat man alles in einem. Ich habe diese Sorte schon einmal auf Erde angebaut und festgestellt, dass sie sehr langsam wächst im Gegensatz zu anderen Pflanzen, das merkt man allerdings auf Hydro gar nicht! Ich finde, der Geruch dieser Pflanze ist extrem stark und vor allem das Kraut riecht auch extrem und vor allem, wenn das Kraut verbrennt, riecht der Rauch auch viel stärker als jede andere Sorte, die ich kenne. Wenn du in einem Dorf lebst und ein davon rauchst, wird das ganze Dorf es riechen.

MojoDojo It was really a test! With just 50 W, a relatively short vegetative phase, only growth nutrients and bloom nutrients without boosters - and I'm more than satisfied. Super smell, super taste, super effect. 100% Cali and still nicely spicy. And that's before it’s fermented! In 4 weeks it will be mega. Considering that you only need to take care of it once a week, the effort saved compared to soil is enormous!

@MojoDojo, How long did it take for the first roots to show up? I'm also using a sprinkler system for the first time. The pH is at 5.8 | Water temperature 20C° | 900-950 ppm | Room temperature 23C° | Humidity 80% | PPFD 400-500

@MojoDojo, It worked out well for me too. The clones all have slight deficiency symptoms. But after 8 days, the roots started to sprout, and after 12 days, the roots were about 10cm long, so I planted them in soil. And now on day 15, you can already see them growing again.

I'm really excited. Even the flower cups in the lower part are really big, and the root system is huge. It definitely looks promising so far. The resin production is also extreme in this early stage.

So really DELUXE - I’ve only achieved this quality once with soil. Plus, with soil, there are always slight deficiency symptoms popping up, which I couldn’t notice with hydro. It looks like the plant is getting better quality with hydro or DWC. The plant feels absolutely great. CONCLUSION: Bye Bye Terra
