OGbros Hi there, On May 26th, I placed the seed in a damp paper towel, I'll start counting the weeks once the roots touch the water. Thanks to Ripper Seeds for making some amazing graphics, well done!

OGbros It's too hot, both the environment and the solution. I struggled to adjust the pH; the tap water is very hard and doesn't make it easy. A good reverse osmosis filter costs a lot; I was considering it but gave up, same goes for the chiller... Anyway, 5ml floragrow, 5ml floramicro, 5ml florabloom, about 2.5ml pH- for aquatic soil, in about 25 liters of tap water. The plant is suffering from the temperature, but the pH is stable. I think it will stay like this for the entire vegetative stage.

OGbros Good morning, The photos are from day 31 (counting the day I put the seed to germinate as day 1, I’d say not bad considering the environmental parameters) It’s super hot, I often find the leaves curling along the blades to avoid water loss through transpiration I’ve defoliated 3 times and removed the lower shoots I’ve only topped up the pot 2 times (9l at a time) with a solution made from the TA tripack with half the recommended doses for hydroponics, before adding I correct the pH with TA's pH- I’ve set up the scrog and in a few weeks I’ll change the light hours, I don’t want it to get too big, I expect a significant stretch in the first 3 weeks of flowering For any explanations or clarifications, feel free to ask in the comments Kisses

OGbros Good evening Change of photoperiod this week Amazing stretching as you can see from the photos compared to the previous week I set up the scrog (homemade holes of 7x7cm) and I will continue to fill it as long as the plant keeps growing I increased the light intensity to 75% and turned on the infrared (15 minutes before the main light turns on and 15 minutes after it turns off), when the flowers start to form I will turn on the UV (I think for 1 Min/h initially) It's always super hot both in terms of ambient temperature and nutrient solution I filled the container with 9l of tap water adjusted to pH 6. The fertilizer doses are as indicated above (half of what TA recommends but despite that no deficiencies, rather, very dark lower leaves with some burnt tips! Always better to take it easy with the soil, just wasting fert!) Around the twentieth day I think I will do a nice defoliation below the net Compared to the last cycle, there's no comparison in terms of growth, nutrient management, and water usage (much lower in this case, if I were using osmosis water I would have used at least double). Hydroponics is more efficient from every point of view, plus since the setup cost me around €30 in total, it's not bad at all For any questions feel free to write to me in the comments (nobody reads this diary ☺️)

OGbros Hey The plant has stretched a ton in 7 days and has practically filled the net. I'll keep going as long as I can to keep it under the scrog, I only have about forty centimeters to raise the lamp. By eye, I'd say it's at least taking a couple of cm a day (probably an underestimate). Still using 9l of water with the marked doses. Update The air machine broke (the one for the bubbles, if you know what I mean). Luckily, a friend had an extra one and kindly lent it to me. The plant has definitely been without bubbles in the solution for at least 12h (but I don't think more than 24-36h), I hope there aren't any serious damages.

OGbros I was away for a few days and it has stretched quite a bit. I'm not putting it under the net anymore, it has started to flower and the branches have begun to stiffen. Unfortunately, I found male flowers 😭 I removed everything I saw and will continue to monitor in the coming days/weeks. It's likely that the extreme heat affected the hermaphroditism. I gave 9L of water with 1/3 of the recommended dose. Most of the leaves have burnt tips (too much N? I gave less than half of what’s written on the label 😔) At the end of this week, I will do a heavy defoliation. Cheers!

OGbros Good morning The stretching has stopped I removed all the leaves below the net and a few above I'm starting to smell a bit It's still super hot, but I've turned on the UVs anyway, for now 1 minute every 2 hours of light

OGbros Hey I was away for a few days The buds have swollen, I didn't think it would be this much. For now, excellent trichome production I've given 2 waterings, one with 9l and the fertilizer doses written above (a little less than half of the recommended dose) and one with just water 5l (at controlled pH) The smell is very sweet and is starting to get more intense According to the seed bank, I'm about halfway through flowering, still about 30 days to go (60 days of flowering stated by Ripper) Good stuff

OGbros Everything is going normally. I continue to give 9L of water every 2 or 3 days with controlled pH and the usual fertilizers. The smell is starting to get intense, I find it very sweet. There are several burnt tips, and I think it's due to the UV (for now 1 minute every 2 hours with the light on), so I don't think I'll increase the exposure, maybe just in the last week or the very last days, I'll think about it... Edit I found some mold on one of the top buds. I'll be away for a week, I hope the problem doesn't spread too much. The environmental parameters weren't optimal for its appearance, but it showed up anyway. What a shame, along with the hermaphroditism, it will cause damage; it could have been better...

OGbros Good morning I was away for 8 days on vacation Upon my return, I found a critical situation with mold that has spread to practically all the top buds and some underneath..... Humidity always below 50% and temperature always over 30 degrees with peaks of 40 I decided to harvest early to save what I could (day 48 instead of 60 as recommended) It's a real shame because the flowers are really beautiful but there's nothing I can do now This is the third plant out of 3 from Ripper that has had problems, I've had in order: Dwarfism Failed germination Hermaphroditism + mold All 3 different genetics I don't know if I'll buy more seeds from Ripper, resistance to mold from this genetic is practically non-existent I've had other genetics from other seed banks with mold problems but much less extensive contamination and optimal conditions for germination (humidity over 80% temperature around 20-25 degrees) I will update the diary with the final harvest but in summary, I'm really pissed off See you later👍

OGbros Great plant It bothers me because of the issues, but I'll give it another chance to express itself at its best This time, unfortunately, wasted potential due to a series of mistakes In summer, it's better to take a break; it's too hot!
