Velasko240 Hey everyone, here we are with my very first grow cycle. After a long time, I finally managed to make it happen. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from the vegetative stage :( I started off really badly because during the 2nd week of veg, we had several blackouts in my building (5/6 hours of darkness for 3 days), and the plants suffered a bit. That's why I extended the vegetative phase by a couple of weeks. The plants had 7 weeks of veg total, and on the last day of week 7, I started the gradual flip, reaching 12/12 over 3 days. During week 5 of veg, I performed heavy LST on all the tops (I didn't do it earlier because the plants needed to recover from the blackout). In the following days, the branches were tied down too, and the plants look bushy. Aside from some Mg deficiency in the Californian Golds, the plants seem fairly healthy overall. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the (high) temperature. Since I'm growing in a room in the house, the air exchange is what it is.... I hope some of you guys can give me advice for tackling my first-ever flowering stage!!! I'll add better photos soon. Notes: Sensi Star 2/3 seem to have shown a more sativa phenotype, while #1 is more compact and stocky. The Californian Golds seem to suffer more from the Mg deficiency (maybe because they're exposed to higher light intensity?). The Mendocino Skunks show two completely different phenotypes (one dwarf and one more stretched out).

Velasko240 Hey everyone, we're at the start of the second week of flowering and already some white pistils are popping up here and there. It's incredible how much leaf growth the plants have put on in just a few days. Honestly, I'm a bit disoriented and hope I didn't overdo the defoliation. Thanks to a weather change, temperatures have cooled down a bit, and I've managed to lower the lights-on temperature by a few degrees. I've removed the humidifier, yet humidity is still hovering around 54/55%. Besides regular watering, I'm applying a foliar spray with 0.5ml/L of Bud Factor X and 0.5ml/L of Rhynoskin. On top of this, I've been stunned by the number of secondary branches that have emerged – so much so that I'm unsure how to proceed except by following the rule of removing anything that 'won't get enough light.' But the plants were seriously bushy... I'll leave plenty of photos so if anyone feels like giving me a hand, they've got material to work with (even if it's low quality). Otherwise, the deficiencies seem to have slowed down significantly. I forgot to mention that during germination (directly in the final pot), I used mycorrhizae (Great White Granular 1). Peace out."

Velasko240 Hello everyone, we're on day 3 of the third week of flowering. The plants look fairly healthy, except for the Californian Gold (in the center) which seems slightly nitrogen deficient. They haven't grown much in height, though I've continued applying LST as branches developed. They're drinking heavily – I'm giving over 2L of water every other day. I'm undecided about starting a PK booster (Bloombastic/Rockzbastic) at minimal doses since all plants show abundant flowering. Regarding defoliation, which I'd been doing gradually daily, I've paused. I also took a 2-day break from LST to let the plants 'stretch out' freely. (Admittedly, next run I'll try LST clips – installing 110 ties is exhausting to manage!) I'm considering a final defoliation at week's end once plants develop further, but I'm uncertain. Any advice is welcome! Fortunately, temperatures dropped slightly, though during lights-off I can't get below 25°C! (Seeking solutions). For plant identification: The 3 on the right are Sensi Star The center plant and bottom-left corner plant are Californian Gold The remaining plants on the left are Mendocino Skunk I'll send more detailed photos soon! *** Details: I'm using Cannazym every other fertigation. I've changed the irrigation schedule; I now give 1.4 L of water daily. I stopped foliar spraying (Rhynoskin + Bud Factor X) at the beginning of week 3 of flowering. Not all plants are 60 cm tall – only the Mendocino Skunk reaches that height. Heights range between 42 and 60 cm, with the shortest being Mendocino Skunk 1 and Californian Gold 1. All Sensi Star plants have shown significantly more stretching and branching than I expected. Researching online, I read that light stress during the vegetative phase can trigger the expression of less common genes. Since I had a 3-day blackout (power outage) in the early weeks of veg, I think this might be one reason. (Otherwise, I simply got three more sativa-leaning seeds). The CO2 method I'm using was given to me and contains cane sugar and yeast. It’s nowhere near as effective as a cylinder or other products, and it lasts about 45/50 days. I placed it low down, not directly above the plants, because with the extractor fan running 24/7, I figured it would stay in the grow box longer. ***

Velasko240 I moved the Californian Gold that was in the center because it was too wide and tall compared to the more compact phenotypes. I raised the shorter plants so that the canopy height is fairly uniform for all plants. I defoliated heavily, not sure if it was enough but I didn't want to overdo it and cause damage since I lack experience. I stopped Rhynoskin. I gave 1ml/L of Biorhizotonic to support the roots after defoliation. The amount of water I give is still 1.4L/day – no need for more, since I can water every day obviously. They might be a bit small and not very dense for being mid-4th week. I should push more with Bloombastic, and maybe I will, but I didn't want to cause any kind of lockout, and I saw the leaf tips showing slight burn, so I kept the dose very low. Overall, I like the plants and they're starting to produce resin (especially the Sensi Star). Let's say that considering how the cycle started, with intermittent blackouts in my area during the 2nd/3rd week of veg, it seems things have balanced out. Stay tuned. Peace!

Velasko240 Here we are with some new photos and videos. We're halfway through Week 5. As you can see, I went a bit overboard with the PK. All the leaf tips are burned. Whoops. Next watering will be a bit heavier, and I'll only give a half dose of Bioflores plus a full dose of Cannazym. Then I'll start with the Rokzbastic (Bloombastic?)* hoping it doesn't throw things too far off balance. I think by the end of this week I'll also stop the Bud Factor X – from what I understand, it could leave metallic residues in the smoke later, which would really bother me xD. I admit I've given Bloombastic with every watering except one, always at low doses, but I should have been more careful and pushed less, or at least alternated it more. Temperatures have risen slightly with peaks of 28°C (82°F), though most of the time it stays between 26.9°C and 27.5°C (80.4°F - 81.5°F) (lights on). With lights off, I can't get below 26°C (78.8°F) (except for rare dips to 25.8°C / 78.4°F). Right now the ventilation is maxing out, with humidity sitting between 55-60%. It’s on the high side, but this is the best I can do. The plants seem resilient though, even in these less-than-ideal conditions, and seeing them outside the tent with the lights off gives me hope. Any advice is always welcome! Everything I’m putting into practice comes from others' experiences, carefully followed, and info from friends both online and offline. Stay tuned! Peace.

Velasko240 Here we are at Day 2 of Week 6 of flowering. Temps and humidity are practically unchanged from last week. I’ve made peace with the fact that I won’t get intense aromas due to the high nighttime temperatures, and I’ll definitely lose some yield and potency. But I don’t care—I knew what I was getting into and the risks involved. Last watering, I reduced the dose of Bioflores and Bioboost, cut out Bud Factor X and Bloombastic, and introduced Rokzbastic at low doses (trying not to repeat the Bloombastic mistake—I’ll keep doses low and alternate applications). The three waterings before this were plain water with Cannazym and a minimal dose of Bioflores, slightly heavier, to flush the medium a bit (given the burnt tips). The plants aren’t stretching anymore (maybe except one Californian Gold). I adjusted the ties to maximize light penetration. The buds aren’t huge or super dense, but they’re well-coated in resin—good enough for my expectations. Hoping to see them bulk up over the next 2 weeks. The Californian Golds give off the strongest scent—super sweet—followed by the Sensi Stars. The "dwarf" Mendocino Skunk has the most foliage and the least smell, but it’s looking nice and chunky. Fingers crossed it delivers too. The biggest plant is a Californian Gold: wide, tall, and packed with flowers. Really beautiful. By the end of Week 7, I’ll check trichomes closely to monitor ripeness. In theory, the Sensi Stars should finish sooner, but given their "irregular" development, I’ve read they might need an extra week. The largest Californian Gold is also the least mature and will probably be the last one chopped (unless it pulls off an unexpected sprint these next two weeks). Catch you later, folks. Stay tuned. Peace.

Velasko240 We're at the end of the 7th week of flowering. Temperature and humidity have remained at the same levels as the previous week. I slightly increased the dose of Rokzbastic to give the plants one last boost. The Sensi Star plants are ahead of the others and have swelled a bit, also producing an excellent amount of resin. The scent they emit is a mix of sharp lemon and fresh forest, overall very pleasant. When checking the trichomes (with a low-quality 60x mini magnifying glass), I noticed they're still transparent on the flowers, while on the smaller sugar leaves they're starting to turn cloudy and amber. They'll probably be ready in 2 weeks? To be safe, I'm starting to remove nutrients from the irrigation for the Sensi Star—I prefer to prioritize flavor over yield without compromising it. The Californian Gold plants are further behind; as Paradise Seeds indicates, they may need up to 11 weeks. Resin production here is also satisfying, though the scent is still underdeveloped compared to Sensi Star and remains simply very sweet. I can, however, afford to continue with Rokzbastic for at least another week, hoping for good results. As for the Mendocino Skunk: we have two completely different plants. One is wide with longer branches full of flowers and a lower leaf-to-bud ratio. The other is small, bushy, and packed with leaves that hide very dense buds compared to its "sister"—though the latter also has beautiful flowers and might actually develop the most buds of all. The smaller one struggled significantly after introducing Bloombastic earlier and now Rokzbastic, showing overfert yellowing with many burnt tips. When lightly touching the flowers, you can detect a sweet fruity scent with a grassy undertone. Overall, the plants are still drinking regularly, which gives me hope. They all reacted poorly to the introduction of concentrated Atami products, even at low doses—likely because these aren’t ideal for predominantly organic grows. Next run, I’ll try other organic PK boosters to see if I can achieve similar results without stressing the plants as much (though Bloombastic did make them truly shine). Unfortunately, I didn’t take many photos or videos because I was down with a virus for a week and didn’t have the energy to pull all the plants out for detailed shots. If anyone has advice on how to manage the final weeks for the Sensi Star, I’m all ears! Catch you next time, folks! Stay tuned! Peace.

I wouldn't worry about the temperature that much if you maintain it. Oscillating fans plus exhaust fans will do their job perfectly. Just be careful with the humidity so it doesn't rise above 60%. It will be fine.

@Mr_Juice, Thanks a lot for the input! I don’t think I’ll have any issues keeping humidity below 60% since I still have a humidifier running on its lowest setting (8L, 32W), but I’ll definitely keep a close eye on it! I didn’t mention it in the description (and you can’t really see it in the pics), but the room has two small fixed 20W fans and one 45W oscillating fan. I also have a mini 15W intake fan. Thanks again for the comment! :) 👌👉

I also had 70% at night, but oscillating fans helped me. I had a budrot, but it wasn't anything terrible, just a little material to throw out. It's good to follow the recommendations, but it doesn't always work. Good genetics can help a lot. Air stagnation is the worst.

@Mr_Juice, thanks for sharing! I’ll be extra careful about air stagnation! During lights-off, the humidifier is turned off, and humidity stays below 60% (between 55% and 58%). Right now, I can’t do better than that. With lights on, I keep the humidifier at minimum because it lowers temps by 1 degree, and humidity still stays under 60%. Let’s say I’m right at the limit. All fans (and the exhaust) run 24/7—otherwise, this type of grow wouldn’t work in a room. I’d have temp and humidity issues just from turning off the exhaust for 30 minutes.
