Velasko240 Hey everyone, here we are with my very first grow cycle. After a long time, I finally managed to make it happen. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from the vegetative stage :( I started off really badly because during the 2nd week of veg, we had several blackouts in my building (5/6 hours of darkness for 3 days), and the plants suffered a bit. That's why I extended the vegetative phase by a couple of weeks. The plants had 7 weeks of veg total, and on the last day of week 7, I started the gradual flip, reaching 12/12 over 3 days. During week 5 of veg, I performed heavy LST on all the tops (I didn't do it earlier because the plants needed to recover from the blackout). In the following days, the branches were tied down too, and the plants look bushy. Aside from some Mg deficiency in the Californian Golds, the plants seem fairly healthy overall. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the (high) temperature. Since I'm growing in a room in the house, the air exchange is what it is.... I hope some of you guys can give me advice for tackling my first-ever flowering stage!!! I'll add better photos soon. Notes: Sensi Star 2/3 seem to have shown a more sativa phenotype, while #1 is more compact and stocky. The Californian Golds seem to suffer more from the Mg deficiency (maybe because they're exposed to higher light intensity?). The Mendocino Skunks show two completely different phenotypes (one dwarf and one more stretched out).

Velasko240 Hey everyone, we're at the start of the second week of flowering and already some white pistils are popping up here and there. It's incredible how much leaf growth the plants have put on in just a few days. Honestly, I'm a bit disoriented and hope I didn't overdo the defoliation. Thanks to a weather change, temperatures have cooled down a bit, and I've managed to lower the lights-on temperature by a few degrees. I've removed the humidifier, yet humidity is still hovering around 54/55%. Besides regular watering, I'm applying a foliar spray with 0.5ml/L of Bud Factor X and 0.5ml/L of Rhynoskin. On top of this, I've been stunned by the number of secondary branches that have emerged – so much so that I'm unsure how to proceed except by following the rule of removing anything that 'won't get enough light.' But the plants were seriously bushy... I'll leave plenty of photos so if anyone feels like giving me a hand, they've got material to work with (even if it's low quality). Otherwise, the deficiencies seem to have slowed down significantly. I forgot to mention that during germination (directly in the final pot), I used mycorrhizae (Great White Granular 1). Peace out."

I wouldn't worry about the temperature that much if you maintain it. Oscillating fans plus exhaust fans will do their job perfectly. Just be careful with the humidity so it doesn't rise above 60%. It will be fine.

@Mr_Juice, Thanks a lot for the input! I don’t think I’ll have any issues keeping humidity below 60% since I still have a humidifier running on its lowest setting (8L, 32W), but I’ll definitely keep a close eye on it! I didn’t mention it in the description (and you can’t really see it in the pics), but the room has two small fixed 20W fans and one 45W oscillating fan. I also have a mini 15W intake fan. Thanks again for the comment! :) 👌👉

I also had 70% at night, but oscillating fans helped me. I had a budrot, but it wasn't anything terrible, just a little material to throw out. It's good to follow the recommendations, but it doesn't always work. Good genetics can help a lot. Air stagnation is the worst.

@Mr_Juice, thanks for sharing! I’ll be extra careful about air stagnation! During lights-off, the humidifier is turned off, and humidity stays below 60% (between 55% and 58%). Right now, I can’t do better than that. With lights on, I keep the humidifier at minimum because it lowers temps by 1 degree, and humidity still stays under 60%. Let’s say I’m right at the limit. All fans (and the exhaust) run 24/7—otherwise, this type of grow wouldn’t work in a room. I’d have temp and humidity issues just from turning off the exhaust for 30 minutes.
