Danylo [Edit] I must confess that previously, I unfortunately mixed up two plants. I personally use this site to help with decisions during seed selection. And because reliability is very important for this, both diaries had to be deleted and redone. This is the corrected, redone version![/Edit] 1% H2O2+Distilled Water soak for 18 Hours, then in low nutrient soil mix. Very fast germination. She even conveniently got rid of the seed shell on her own!

Danylo Healthy growth continues. She is looking eerily similar to her tent neighbour - a Seedstockers Northern Lights! End of week three she was ready to be transplanted to her final pot, a 15L AirPot.

Danylo She is settling nicely into her new home! This week, we had to do some defoliation to ensure that lower branches get enough light. Also, the switch to flower is coming up - so she was topped at the end of this week.

Danylo Lower branches react well to increased light conditions - she is growing more bushy! Switch to flower happened at the start of this week.

Danylo Settling well into beginning of bloom. First round of lollipopping happening, no need to waste resources for what gets removed later in the process!

Danylo She turned out to be a very compact plant! She is flowering vigorously though, markedly faster than her roomies. Stretch seems through so I started adding some "Sumo Active Boost" to her nutrient solution. Some defoliation this week.

Danylo Settling well into flower. At this point there was enough trichome production to get a glimpse of what the bouquet was going to be. In retrospect it was obviously an impressive mix of spicy orange rind. Whe first smelling this I, however, could not place what I was experiencing.. what I remember is that I _had_ to go back several times!😌

Danylo She is developing lovely buds! Thanks to the topping they seem to be roughly uniform. Could have (should have...) been more generous with both nitrogen and magnesium!

Danylo Everything ripening as it should. Due to the slight N+Mg deficiency she is a little more light green than I'd like her to be. She has been fed accordingly, but there is quite some latency between feeding and appearance. The smell at this point is absolutely divine!

Danylo We are packing on mass! Trichomes tell us that it's not too long before we can harvest. 😁

Week 13. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Tropical Tangie was very easy to grow, low maintenance and even though she wasn't fed _perfectly_ she produced an impressive amount of frosty nugs with great smell/taste! If I had to name one thing I did not love, it's the fact that during the two last weeks the bouquet went from "I can't fucking believe this!!!" to "very nice!". Given a redo I'd harvest this one early, gladly losing yield and potency, because that smell was out of this world! But even this version is still better than a nine! One thing surprising to me though is the consistency of the trichomes: while most plants produce thick, sticky material - this one felt more light and oily between the fingers. For me this was the first plant to produce this kind of consisteny. (Future Dan: Another one later would be CBD Charlotte's Angel) Thank you for your time and interest! Dan

Danylo In retrospect, I should have removed more of the lower buds. They simply diverted energy from the main buds, just to create some mediocre larfy stuff. Oh well - you grow you learn!
