Have a seat and watch me grow some Tasty Mango buds :)
Start of week 2 for my indoor run.
In the following week they will get 3.5L pots till week 5 of Veg.
I will use 4 seeds for my 1x1meters indoor tent.
Stay tuned.
My mangos grow and grow!
I put them under 400w of HPS to get their growth started and it looks very well.
I planned approximately 5 to 6 weeks of Vegetation for my plants, so they get under the quantum board in week 6 :)
Veg week 5!
I topped them for the first time in week 4. In this week they will get a bigger pot in which they will enter flowering after week 7.
My Mango-Sapphire are doing very well and I will go with 4x of them for my flowering tent.
I trained them a bit to push side growth so that they open up a little bit more. The major training will be done next week when they get their final pot.
I am already so excited :)
My girls got new 18L pots for their last Veg week. - Also they are now under my 500watts QuantumBoard for the best growth.
They are doing very well and will be ready for flowering in about a week.
Now they get a little training for entering the bloom stage perfectly.
Last Veg week before initiating flowering:
They got really big, fat leaves which I took down after taking the Fotos. It didn't let light come through as I want it to.
Now I did a little haircut to them and after next Saturday they get into flowering with 13 hours light daylie for massive yields.
Let's start flowering for these beautiful girls.
They have grown really nicely to the side for maximum coverage of the 1x1meters tent.
1 day before initiating flowering I gave them 24hours of light for a little boost.
I am starting flowering with a light feeding and will increase the ppm in small steps for not stressing my ladies out.
Wow they got bigger again!
Flowering stretch kicked in and I already removed all small flower-notes to force the energy getting into the top buds.
I also lollipopped them and LST them again.
Hopefully I can leave them like that till late flowering :)
Last week my 4 plants really put on some flower weight.
They all look nice and healthy and don't have any issues or pests.
This week I add Hesi Boost to my nutrients to make the flowers explode :)
This week I increased my nutrients to the maximum.. I don't follow the official pattern from the nutrient company but I found my own way. They seem to really love it.
I moved the lamp a little bit away and I am giving water every 2 days.
I am totally impressed how mature they already are for week 5 of flowering.
It might be ready after week 6 for cutting down, but I think I will leave it another week for being safe.
The distance between the quantum board and the flowers is under 20cm and they LOVE it. :D
They smell really strong now and has a lot of Mango terpenes which can clearly be smelled after lightly touching the flower.
Flushing week:
I reduced the light hours from 13/11 to 12/12 and started giving them pH corrected water only.
They are sticky as hell and the smell is unbelievable.
Now they have 6-7 days left in which they will mature enough to be ready for harvest.
Bringing this plant to an end was hard for me - such a beautiful plant with it's structure and flowers..
Growing Mango Sapphire as a tester for Humboldt Seed Organization really was a experience for me. It was a total resistant plant with a good growth. The nutrients I used were mainly HESI for Blooming and Plagron for Veg.
I have never had so good and tropical smelling flowers.
