EazyRider All three popped in a few days, the one with the tail out first ended up being the slowest, probably a day or two behind the other two, which are themselves looking a bit straggly but I've seen that before. Happy to see that at least two of these are going to be a tall. I cannot see any internode stretch yet, so that is a bit of a worry but we'll see how they look at d14. I have also included some pyramid preparation shots.

EazyRider The middle one looks like a typical sativa dominant night owl, the other two that had bubbly leaves looks a big straggly, and they both could be candidates for elimination, however I can see their roots are developing well and more importantly I can see good internode spacing and they also appear to be on time. I have seen this before, it makes for an ugly plant, but it nevertheless produced quality buds. you can see this in my three Banana Purple Punch.

EazyRider Tallest one topped three days ago and looking fairly normal. The other two with the bubbly leaves are a bit slow, but growing with good stretch, not sure if I'm going to top one of them. Might top the bigger one only. I'll decide later today.

EazyRider They are all growing as espected, the two with bubbly leaves are a bit sparse, and the one in the middle is large with a large stem, I topped the one on the left but I did not top the one on the right that was growing a bit slower. Otherwise they are looking fine.

EazyRider 7in of growth in the largest plant less on the other two. The two outside plants have the same variegated and leathery bubbly leaves as they did when they were only a week or two old. I have seen this before and it had no effect on the final buds. The middle plant is looking completely normal and were it not for that plant I would be thinking that I'd done something wrong, the middle plant's leaves are smooth and healthy. Looks like she is about to flip. Plant on right not topped maybe I should have topped as well but it will be interesting to see how she compares.

EazyRider the two larger plants are now about the same size but the middle one is showing hybrid vigor unlike the other two which are showing some genetic problems with their leaves, which I don't think will affect the flowers. She has gone into flower and is looking very different from the last few Night Owls, The plant on the right has not been topped, and it is will be interesting to compare the final result. At this early stage I do not like the untopped plant as all the branches other than the stem look very weak. I have only just removed my last Master Bruce, and it will be time to germinate the next trio in just three days! I think it's going to be SMQR.

EazyRider Bit of a stretch this week and early buds have formed but there are not many indications of large trichome production at this stage which is unusual for Night Owls so far, hopefully by next week my fears can be put to rest. The two outer plants continue to have bad looking leaves, which the middle one does not have this problem. Had to do a bit of defoliation for the middle plant but the other two are sparse enough to not need it. Otherwise pretty boring week down at the farm.

EazyRider I have not been happy with this grow from the beginning when two of the beans had genetic problems which have continued the entire grow, the middle bean which is the most vigorous has none of these problems. But all three are pretty sparse looking for 8 weeks lots of stigma but not many pistils, in fact this looks like a typical low quality white label bean. So lets see how she goes in the next two weeks. I have had to do a fair bit of pruning which I also rarely need to do with night owl, I don't think there's any more do to.

@sanibelisl, it does looks like some sort of nute problem but the middle plant is fine and all three get the same treatment. I can't see any calyxes, in my latest update I am a bit concerned. Also the two plants that have the same weird leaves looked like that from day 7.

Bro lookst like yoir plants get some Hlvd, this results in lower trichome and bud production. For 100% proof need tests

Strange looking leaves indeed. If I didn’t know better I’d probably think N burn. Can’t see how that can be good for flowering. Guess we’ll see.

@GERGrowDesigns, cheers, you always need a bit of luck with autos. I try and take some of that out of the equation by growing 3 of the same strain.
