Super excited to kick off a brand-new grow and share it with all of you! This time, I’m trying out a breeder I’ve heard great things about – Sweet Seeds – and for the first time ever, I’ll be growing autos from them! 😄
I’ve previously had the pleasure of growing Red Hot Cookies, which was an absolute treat, but now it’s time for something even more tropical: Pineapple Slush – a XL autoflowering strain known for its insane resin production and mouthwatering aroma. 🍍🔥
This beauty is a cross between Pineapple Express x Sweet Mandarine Zkittlez, combining the best traits of both parents – strong effects and an exotic, irresistible terp profile. It’s easy and fast to grow, and from what I’ve read, a THC powerhouse with sweet citrusy vibes. Can’t wait to see how she turns out! 👀

I'm going to use small pots (2 liter) because I don't have that much space and I want the plant to stay small - so I have to water more but you have to die a death haha.

🔸I think they are developing as they should, there is nothing to worry about...I have seen that the roots are already reaching the edge of the pot so I have given them 500 ML of water with a small drain. I'm curious how she likes the 2 liter pot, I think it's 2 liters haha :D

🔸It is developing very well, I like the spacing between the nodes very much, it looks small and compact. Let's see when it starts flowering...I wanted to keep it small on purpose and do without training.

🔸The lady has grown moderately, but I think she will grow a few more cm. Currently 44 cm so 26 cm stretch since last week.

🔸The stretch is over and she is 70 cm tall - a very good size in my opinion...looks great 😍
🔸It's happened to me twice now that the pot has dried out completely, and on warm days like the one we're having at the moment I have to water it twice a day. I think this is what caused the lower yellow leaves.
🔸I now add Big Bud from AN to my watering regime

🔸They have slowly gotten used to the limited space, and I have gotten used to watering them. Every morning and sometimes after work, I water them with 400-500 ml. I have placed a 5-liter canister next to them and use it as needed. The flowers are developing beautifully; things can continue this way.
🔸Unfortunately, it's not the ideal lamp for the flowering phase because it lacks the high red component – but let's see how it turns out.

🔸The plant is showing good progress in the flowering phase. The buds are becoming denser and the stigmas are still white, which indicates further growth.
Trichome formation is visible – resin production is going well. The structure of the plant is open enough to allow light to reach all buds and looks very good.
🔸I'm not quite managing to maintain the nutrient supply because of the small pot; I suspect that not as much oxygen is reaching the roots.

🔸 In week 8, Pineapple Slush shows strong progress in the flowering phase. The buds appear significantly more voluminous and resin production is pronounced – trichomes already cover large parts of the flowers. The white stigmas are beginning to discolor in places, indicating the transition to the final flowering phase. The leaves retain their healthy, deep green color and show only minimal discoloration at the tips.
🔸 Despite the small pot volume, the plant shows no acute signs of deficiency, but could benefit from a more stable nutrient supply. The open structure continues to ensure good light penetration to the lower flower buds.
🔸Now add Overdrive instead of Big Bud.
