Another bluedream on the way! This being my favorite strain for relaxation purposes, it also possesses the terpenes that helps treating my health conditions. So bare with me again with this second bluedream grow!

All is good ! The climate is getting warmer in canada and snow is melting giving me natural humidity to use alongside my mini humidifier, once the roots hit the water if my reservoir the air humidity is less important since they rootzone will provide constant water supply, i used a bit of voodoo juice and b1supermax in my peat pellets and compared to past grow im seeing a big difference in root productions
Week 3 was all about shaping the canopy using lst. Being an autoflowering strain time is always off the essence . If you stress her too much you will drastically reduce your yield. Like my past grow , this strain takes lst like a baws, bouncing back real fast
Week four has started, pre-flowers have popped everywhere and the tip of the sugar leaves are showing. The overall conditions are perfect, by keeping it to one plant in a small environment make it easier for me to control everything and it definitely pays off i mean look a those healthy roots! Its all about a solid root zone
all seems to be doing good, pistils are shooting from budsites and she is entering the flowering stretch, she is drinking like crazy, 10l for 5 days ( someone has a drinking problem here) No signs of deficiencies but she is taking a bit more time to bounce back from defoliation since i had to clean her good
I spent The long easter weekend at the cottage so leaving my girl was a bit stressful, ph fluctuations could stunt the gros if it occurs. As for water temps i know my root inoculent will ward off root rot if temps gets above 25 degrees, although that was not the real issue,She almost drank herself dry in only 4 days. I had to defoliate her quite a bit but other that that she did just fine on her own
Week 7 had its share of temperatures variations . Combined with my lack of cfl bulb distance from buds knowledge had the tips of the calix turn light yellow and caused the pistils to turn orange at the tip. No serious harm done but this is how you become a better grower and getting to know how different phenotypes react to environmental changes and adaptation. Luckily for me the ruderalis genes in the blue dream matic from fastbuds makes her pretty resistant to stress and traumatic “mistakes “ cause you got real high one night and decided that defoliation would be great right now 👍🏻
Everything went smoothly, the weather down here is perfect hitting that sweet spot of 26 degrees at day and 24 at night with 35% ish humidity. Right at time for resin production and trichomes production. Flowers are stacking nicely and the smell is just amazing, a strong pungent smell kinda like black licorice but with a hint of blueberry in the back . This makes for a great stealth grow throw a bag of black licorce on the table and you’re in full ninja mode, if ninja were to grow weed... here i go spiraling aigain thanks to tha sativa weed i smoked 👍🏻✌️🏻
If you have the ability to do it it's amazing! It's not the cheapest entry and depending where you are refills can be a pain but if those are no issues adding co2 is great for the plants. More co2 means the plants can take in more light, increasing growth and yields. Co2 is the energy plants use to convert the light to food. It would require s good light source though because co2 on it's own is not plant food and wont make the plant excell on it's own. Co2 is the key that unlocks your lights true potential.
Week 9 is upon is and man did theses extra 300 w 2700 kelvin cfl bulbs hit the spot all my buds are beautifully developing and packing weights day after day, the buds are so sticky it’s actually the most sticky plant ive grown now. Reducing the humidity to the 30 to 35 makes your plant resin production go off the charts to protect her against the dry environment and boy o boy did she did so! I also shut down my led grow light that creates a good veg spectrum to tell the plant she is near her death and simulate a fall lights . I lowerd a bit the nutes and will flush next water changed and start looking carefully the trichomes
She’s going strong ! I mean look at her go . This is going to be a wonderful yield with many top buds and surprisingly big popcorn buds.its now time to flush those nutes with good old plain ph water. Im checking the trichomes regularly and at different spots to determine when they are 80/20 milky then i will start the 48h of darkness before harvest to stop the degradation of thc and squeeze the most out of the resin glands. The smell is truly amazing, blue dream is by far my favourites everyday strain so seeing those buds just make me want to wrap the whole thing and light it up but patience is the key ! Drying and curing your buds properly Is the hardest and most crucial part
The flushing phase is on, time to get rid of the rest of those nutrients that got locked up in the plant system, this step will affect almost 60% of the end result bud quality and taste along side with curing and drying properly the buds. The plant will remains in darkness until i harvest to slow the degradation of thc to cbn and to squeeze the most out of thoses resin glands that activates the most at night . Beside a bit of foxtailing due to the heat differences caused by the addition of 3 cfl buld, the buds are looking great
Last week is upon us! All this work paid off and my skills as a humble grower are sharpening up real fast. Again the grow box did great the whole grow and the cfl bulbs addition really did a smacking result. Again fastbuds genetics where great and consistent creating a beautifully grown healthy plant And furthermore all the seeds germination success rate of 100%
ITs finally tine to cut the girl . After checking all around for trichomes I’ve decided it was about damn time. She took longer to flush , i keep her in the dark for a good week until i felt like she used up all of her locked down nutes . Just by doing my bud manicuring and trimming i got a good half gramm of resin that turned to delicious fingerhash . The buds show a bit of foxtailing but i really dont mind it , and it doesn’t affect the taste or quality’s of the end product. As you can see lst training gave results. This yield is definitely a good one with amazing results, the smell is really strong but i doesn’t smell like typical weed if i can say so . All around fastbuds genetics goes hand in hand with my set up, a real blast growing this strain
This strain is a must try for first timer, she is strong , disease resistant and offers a nice smell that is not weed-likes for you stealth growers out there ✌️🏼This strain give an amazing buzz , uplifting with euphoric peaks and kinda makes yous feel dumb but also happy to be dump( go ahead and try to describe a buz 😂)perfect wake and bake strain. The yield of this strain varies on the techniques you use but lst alone with minor defoliation will give you around 2oz at least if well taken cared off. The phenotypes area consistant and the germination rate so far is 100% with the paper towel method. Recently i have agreed to cover different strain in association with fastbuds. Thier generosity and implications in the growing community amazed me. Because of theirs amazing genetics and down right mouth watering strains i will only cover and grow thiers seeds
