I'm not going to top them even though it would Increase yield as I am limited to time and space. Hopefully some nice colas on the top and some decent ones on the side branches. Will be flicking to 12/12 on Monday.
Week 1 of flower and the girls have stretched a lot this week and are continuing to put out more smells, no calyx production yet but hairs are popping up everywhere, I repotted them just before flipping them and they have rewarded me with vigorous growth :)
Girls have started flower production, still stretching but not nearly as much as week 1, looking forward to the peyote :D as the buds look bigger and closer nodes but too early too tell as I am a fairly new grower and haven't grown either of these strains before.
Running out of space in the tent, if they stop stretching I should be good for height but yeah may run into problems down the track. I start feeding them connoisseur blooms now in the start of week 3 so they should start packing on more weight
Week 3 of flowering and its smelling really nice in there and they’re definitely packing on weight and resin now, overall happy with my progress and both phenos of the Peyote Critical so far, no sign of nute burn or bug infestation/ mould or mildew so everything is going great :)
However my oscillating fan died as I don’t have pot tray for the lsd and gave them a big drink and she drained out everywhere in the bottom of the tent and destroyed the fan haha, oh well.
LSD still not looking as good as both the Peyote but hey, it might surprise me.

Week 4 and I’m really looking forward to harvest now, density on the peyote it’s quite firm to to the touch which is great as I am only using a 250w HPS. Starting a bit of LST to the taller one; was getting too close to the light for my liking. And some also light defoliation here and there on both to help the light penetrate to the lower buds.
The LSD has made a comeback and is starting to look just as the frosty as the other girls but still doesn’t look as though it will yield the same, that said I think it still has a bit more work to do.
Week 5 coming up... until then
Everything is on track to my liking, keeping vigilant for any problems that may arise, noticed a slight nute burn so have been doing mini flushes here and there.
Harvest day should be roughly 3 weeks away and I am so looking forward to smoking both of them. Some pistils are starting to mature but I won’t really be checking the trichomes much until week 7/8.
Really happy with the density on both, would highly recommend both strains and they seem to grow well together.

Week 6, the calyxs are now starting to swell. I stopped giving them PK elicit and now starting to flush them and then again next week, the colas are dense and pretty strong smelling, they are maturing more everyday. Everything is still smooth sailing and it’s looking to be a pretty decent grow.

Week 7 Flower Day 49, 29.5.19, The girls are now really a sight to behold. Looks like LSD might be 1 week behind Peyote but I haven’t really checked the trichomes yet so I’m not sure, will possibly update through the week.
As for the Peyotes they are both frosty as hell, smell is like a hashy earthy smell it’s so strong, both Phenos are dense looks to be a slight bit of Fox tailing but I’m not sure if it’s just the way the calyxs look. I also think I’m seeing a bit of purple so I’m really happy about that, as for the trichomes they starting to now go cloudy so I think 1 week or so, less if need be and then chop her down and prep her for drying :D
I’m starting to see some leaves are dying/losing colour and I’m thinking it’s just girls telling me they’re nearly ready but would like get your guys opinion.
Other than that it might possibly be harvest week in the next update if not I’ll definitely keep you updated, until then!
One of my first proper grows and it turned out better than I could have expected, props to Barney’s Farm for the good beans and Med Tek nutrients supplying the nutes for this run. Absolutely gonna give the Peyote another go, she has outdone my expectations for only a 2x2 grow tent. Very favourable terpene profile (at least to me anyway), can’t wait until it’s fully cured I will be proud to say I had grown it haha.
Ran into a little powdery mildew/budrot during the drying process on the two crowns only because of how I dried it and unfortunately I do not have photos of the drying process, but it only affected 12 grams of both crowns combined.
Other than I ran into no other problems, Peyote proved to be very easy to grow, thanks for reading and until next grow/harvest day for LSD!
