The gelato girls are doing great the buds are really swelling out all seem big and healthy not much popcorn on these girls. The flowers are solid but not super heVy and dense yet. The smell is still a cross between thin mint and heavy pepper🙄🤔 The trichome covering gets thicker as we go and is also making the flowers pop, they look very pretty closer you get.yeah a great vigorous strain to grow.
Update - fighting on and fattening up. They’re bending all over the place though, just about everything topped out from the central needs support, one branch snapped kinda a, though no break in the skin and seems to be following on it’s previous mission. All buds are nice and dense and really nicely formed. She’s lovely to look at this Green Gelato of RQS. My only problem at the moment is the aroma. Not that it’s bad just not as expected. I was expecting a very sweet pungent kinda dankness. Instead it’s kind of a sharp peppery smell.🙄
@Cannibalgardens, haha, one day I’ll get there, every time. I just wish it would come sooner rather than later😳😂 but hey the flowers I’m sure will taste great and they’re looking like they might pack a bit of a punch too.
@Damonkey,thanks mate will bare that in mind, i suppose needing support for those sticky buds isnt such a bad problem after all must be some weight there 👌😂
@BuddingBudda, big heavy buds man. You need plenty of support a net would probably be best. It’s what I needed this time really. But it’s nice to grow and under the brown leaves the bud does look nice and juicy.
@@Resin_Randy, haha yeah there’s a few.........phew! It does seem to bring the quality of the end product out though you know. 🤔😳🙄😂 nah really I find my buds to be on the most part nice solid densely packed and oil filled. The tastes are somewhat sweeter/danker too. I have run in the past using just base feeds and found that with these extras I no longer feel the need to buy herb from other people, mine now is to a standard that beats anything I could have got hold of here in my little village. So for me the extra few pence is worth it. Advanced Nutrients just seem to make a smooth running grow, not so many problems with over dosing etc and very easy and clear instructions of what they are and what they do. But I’ve seen a lot of people on here who can get these results using far fewer additives. When I reach that kind of level I’ll relax it up a bit😂😂😂😂 until then I need all da help I can get😂😂😂
