Day 17 . seems sluggish compared to my banner #3 but it tool 18 h in water ,4 days in paper towel and 3 or 4 in soil before it opened so it seems like it's just what it does lol
Growing well . not too many side effects to the nutrients. I think I may have shocked it a little cutting off some leaves but it's recovering nicely
strong peppery smell coming off it now
Noticed some dark spots on the leaves two days ago, I'm confident it's because I was a derp and sprayed her before the lights went on and the light was probably less than a foot off the canopy. Hit her with some Bug-Tek to be safe, not into messing with mites with only 4 weeks to go lol
Week 7 started well, the plant has started to stretch out a bit and it's literally covered in bud, i can't wait to see what it does during the next few weeks before harvest. This will be my first autoflower grow, and they seem to have gotten a lot bigger since the early mighty mite and low rider days.
I may try my next one in dwc.
Thing's are going well, had a few run ins with light burn via water droplets on leaves and had to raise the lights again. Not sure if I want to defoliate it, only remove a few leaves here and there or just bend leaves out of the way. Crystals are coming in thick and sticky and the smell is awesome. All in all I'm happy with how my first auto is shaping up. Can't wait to try it and run some thru a nugsmasher.
Today is day 79, sprout date March 27
Tonight may be the night it goes to 48h dark, not much growth going on, good colour, it has a nice layer of crystal and its coated with sticky, sweet/peppery smelling buds. The pack said 10 weeks. Friends who have grown it before have said let it go to 11. Any tips from someone who has experience with the strain, I'd love to hear what you think. First time with auto, first time with white widow.
I agree its best to leave lots of leafs on autos they will suck all the nutrients back into the plant when they start thier end of the run power budding and all the big leafs are easy nutrients it doesntvhave to convert from soil . bet your plants last weeks will make some big buds ! Hope my green house seeds white widow does as well .
Looking good ... Just got done harvesting a Northern Lights Auto & a AK-49 Auto myself. Currently waiting on my White Widow Auto to finish up. Check them out if you can. I wish you the same success.Good luck with the rest of your grow
@plantie, Yeah its a mini jungle lol, I've only pulled the dead leaves. It has decent light penetration and a big fan moving a lot of air around so I let it do it's own thing. It's already been shocked once or twice, didn't want to push my luck, so I've been easy on it. I've been told autos are touchy.
A friend said I would be able to defoliate a bit this week and it should be good by the time it gets its last feeding before flush.
