WurzlWilly To improve germination rate and speed, I add 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide to a tiny glass (shot glass) of water. It has proven especially effective for older seeds.

WurzlWilly I've moved the plants into Airpots with around 2.8l volume, while waiting for the larger pots to become available. For the next week or so, I'll keep them in our sunroom - light conditions are excellent there.

WurzlWilly So, finally, the previous plants have been harvested and there's now enough space in the tent. I adjusted the lamp to 20 DLI with a distance above the top leaves of 25cm. Also a security cam is installed to create a timelapse video - it's always nice to see the plants' development in motion.

WurzlWilly Today I was curious how the roots have grown through the soil and decided to dismantle one of the pots carefully. The amount and healthiness of the roots is really impressive after just a little over 2 weeks of growing. I think I'll move them to the final pots next week. Also the right plant (Panty Punch) started to travel towards the light center so I added a guide to keep it straight. CO2 remains at 800ppm, light strength increased to 25 DLI

WurzlWilly Finally moving the plants to their desired pots with 10x the volume of the initial ones. Enough room for the roots to grow. The ladies show just some smaller issues after repotting. Mainly some signs of overwatering because I decided to thoroughly rinse the reused soil with water and nutrients before transplant. A few days after letting them settle a bit, I raised the light intensity to 34 DLI. Also the de-humidifier is back in place and ensures a proper environment as transpiration starts to increase. When taking the pictures, I noticed the calyxes to appear already. Flowering will probably start soon.

WurzlWilly Yep the plants definitely started flowering. The stretching is insane now, CO2 consumption rises permanently. It's the first time I had to water since transplanting - 6 liters rainwater (from cistern) with some added CalMag. Soil is now at around 6.3 ph/1.3mS, drain is at 5.5 ph/1.3mS. To push the plants a bit further, I increased CO2 to 1000ppm and DLI to 45-48. Because they are growing so fast, they are strong enough to handle lollipopping and I decided to cut some of the lower branches. I also removed some of the larger top leaves to reveal and support growth of the upper branches. Looks really good this time 🙌

WurzlWilly Some time has passed since my last post. So as expected the plants made a huge leap in flower development - or at least one of them. It seems like Critical Kush takes her time, growing the buds slooooow but steady. I fed both with the same nutritients, introducing Plagron Terra Bloom for the first time in my history. I'm absolutely curious if 5ml/L will be sufficient to prevent deficiencies. Meanwhile, I tuned the DLI level to about 50, trying to keep humidity and temp in acceptable range. Not easy as the plants sweat more and more. But we will see. A few days later, I discovered some leaf tacoing on Panty Punch and extended light distance a bit to avoid too much light stress. It looks like she is recovering already, bud growth continues. In the meantime Critical Kush has taken the lead in height, reaching 60cm now.

WurzlWilly I don't know why the bloom development of Critical Kush is stunted - the buds are growing so slow and almost no trichomes are visible. Makes me a bit nervous but maybe it's the strain. At least I hope so and she will get a boost soon 😱 Panty punch instead is performing very well and the buds are gaining substance like expected. Light is now at 55 DLI (maximum, can't push more), I think I have to increase nutrition feeding next week as they show major signs of deficiencies, mainly on the lower leaves of Critical Kush. 6-7 ml/l could do them a favor. Since it is really hot outside, temps in the grow room also get critical. I think I have to prolong the exhaust time a bit
