Jimmy_Terpz This week I topped the plants. Since it's regular seeds, I'm making cuttings from the trimmed tops. The cuttings will go straight into flowering (12/12h lighting) so I can find out as early as possible which plant is female and which is male. Once I know that, the prettiest lady will go into the 50L pot. I'll let her grow there as long as the weather permits. If it gets too cold/wet, the plant will then be moved indoors to finish flowering in my 1.20x1.20 tent. Training: It's going to be a mainlining project. The goal is to get 16 main colas. (So topping 4 times)

Jimmy_Terpz Unfortunately, the plants were very wet for 2-3 days due to the heavy rain. As a result, the lower leaves were somewhat affected. However, the new main shoots are developing well again, thankfully :)

Jimmy_Terpz It was time for the 2nd topping (4 main stems). Only 2 out of 3 were topped because one plant wasn't ready yet. I always wait until the first side shoots start to grow and develop leaves... This way, the plant can directly perform photosynthesis on the new main stems and has the power to really take off. Next week, I'll start tying down the new shoots. The cuttings from the 1st topping still look good. I hope they make it through so I can determine the sex of each plant early on. The prettiest lady will go into a 50L pot and will be further trained and topped. The goal is to get 16 main stems. (Maybe I'll continue the project indoors so they don't go into flowering too early and still have enough time for the growth phase. Right now, we only have 15.5 hours of daylight.)

Jimmy_Terpz I've started to tie down the shoots of plant #2 and #3. Now I'll let them recover a bit for a week, and then it's time for the next topping :) I won't top plant #2 again since she's the slowest anyway... I'll send her into flowering in 1-2 weeks.

Jimmy_Terpz - Plant No. 1 (with 8 main stems) - was topped 3 times - grows rather small and compact - During the day I place it on the terrace and around 8 PM it goes into the tent to ensure 18 hours of light so it doesn't go into flowering. - Plant No. 2 (with 2 main stems) - was only topped once because it has shown the slowest growth and the cutting from this plant didn't make it. - Also stays outside at night since the cutting didn't make it and I can't determine the sex early. The risk of it being a male plant is too high for me. So there's no further training🚫🏋️‍♀️🚫 - Plant No. 3 (with 16 main stems) - was topped 4 times - doesn't grow as compact as No. 1. (more stretch) - During the day I place it on the terrace and around 8 PM it goes into the tent to ensure 18 hours of light so it doesn't go into flowering. - Cutting No. 1 (with 2 main stems) - was topped once - stays outside at night so that flowering can start and I can finally determine the sex of Plant No. 1. - Cutting No. 2 = ☠️ - has not formed any roots 🚫 - Cutting No. 3 (with 2 main stems) - was topped once - stays outside at night so that flowering can start and I can finally determine the sex of Plant No. 3. Once the sex of Cuttings 1 & 3 is shown, I'll decide which of the "mother plants" goes into the 50L pot. Which one would you choose if both are female? Jimmy_Terpz Everything is going according to plan 🤓 It looks like all 3 plants are girls 💁‍♀️ It will probably take another week to be 100% sure. Which plant do you see in the 50l pot?! Plant 1 or Plant 3???

Jimmy_Terpz This week, all the ladies are going into flowering... it was actually supposed to happen yesterday, but while training plant #3, the main stem split at the nodes of the 2nd topping. I've now tightly bound it with Teflon tape so it can grow back together. It's really a shame that this happened, but the plant should be able to repair itself. That's why I'm leaving it in veg for a few more days to give it time to heal before it goes into flowering.

Jimmy_Terpz The last few days there has been a lot of stretch… 📏 In 7-14 days I will free the ladies down below so they can get a bit fuller up top 👙 I have now set the Sanlight Evo 4 120 from dimming level 1 to level 2 💡

Jimmy_Terpz The stretch is mostly over.... now let's hope the buds get nice and fat :) Every 2 weeks I spray Purolyt as a prevention against diseases...

Jimmy_Terpz The plants are developing very nicely 🤩 The buds are already sparkling wonderfully, and there's a very intense smell spreading that reminds me of lemon cake 🍋 🍰 This week I'm adding a bit more potassium and phosphorus to boost the bud growth 🌸
