Planted seeds on february 20 2019. Germination began in 24-48hrs and all were above ground by february 22. One was showing much greater progress from the germination period as it popped first, grew taller and the leaves looked thicker and more full/lush from seedling than the other plant

Did a lil modification to my ratchet light set up. Realized that regular flood lights give a lot of light but none of it can be used by the plant for photosynthesis cuz its not in the right colour spectrum. Was running dual 30w LED flood lights putting out 800lms (weak) but was enough to fool the plants to think its still day time but they werent really growing any different. Bought 3 red 100w flood lights and got some blue carpenter tape to put over the 30w led flood lights to imitate a blue spectrum. Yes i know its cheap and crappy and very unorthodox but im on a budget and anything is better than the old set up to me so i will see if it makes a difference

Easy to see the differences. Many jus better phenotype i guess. Pic of what bountiful harvest is ( sold all over caribbean). I planned to start the grow with the Advanced nutrients Organic line but the order times and delivery for them to Antigua was a bit lengthy so i jus decided to feed them with existing stuff i had aound for the garden cuz i thought anything is better than jus plain old water lol. The mixture was with some Moringa tree extract i had fermenting outside with about 1/2 teaspoon on the miracle grow and boutiful harvest. All were below 1/4 recommended strength to avoid any issues and i didnt want the grow to be based on synthetic stuff

Very lleased with AN product line. Just used it today for the first so we will see how the look next week. Moringa extraxt is used as foliar spray Plants were both LST with the bigger plant achieving more so it had.much better results. Started to train the runt but it didnt look as promising so i let her strainten up naturally then did defoliation to allow more growth on the nodes.

All the pics i added week by week were not included because i did not add a comment with them 😔. Pics included with progress Did more lst as branches grew and a lot of defoliation along the way. They get bushy real quick so i defoliate then let them grow out for about 3 days then trim up again so the sunlight hits all over more evenly Will be including horse manure, rabbit guano, bat guano, earthworm castings and seabird guano into my feeding program for optimum results edit: all my pics were removed again😡😡😡😡😡

plants have the width and amount of colas i think will be enough for a 8oz harvest per plant. plants seem to really like the compost tea with the added rabbit guano. whenever they get fed with it the leaves point upwards shortly after and no signs of overfeeding even when used with the AN OIM line............btw i just got sensizyme, big bud, bud candy and mother earth super tea from their organic product line as well. the sensizyme will be used from this week onwards until i flush before harvest and the other products will be introduced in the transition and flowering stages. saw a few inches growth and will allow them to grow upwards for the next 2-3 weeks or until they reach 42 inches in height before flipping to flower.

Based off of my experiance I wouldn't think so. I have 3 tents and constantly move the ladies about and there is a roughly 500w difference between them. Never has given me a herm issue.

bat and rabbit guano added to tea sensizym added a little defoliation did on plant1 because it was getting way to bushy for the new nodes to extend their shoots. plant2 will be defoliated in another day or two of growth. upgraded my grow light so will see if i get better results this week for the extra 6hrs they recieve. each plaats has about 22+ colas.........how many colas would i need to get 448grams (1lb) of dried buds?

is it ppssible to hit a plteau in the veg stage from specific strains? as in if they reach a certain height does the genetics stop the plants from vigorous growth after it hits a ceiling before u flip it to flower?

Mostly the plateau is triggered by the space for roots, the weather and light conditions and the nutrition. Theoretically the plants would continue to grow if they are not limited by any circumstances until the internal problems would stop her, i think about osmotic pressure to transport water and nutrition to the top and stability of the stem to handle the weight.

this week was rough and a little frustrating discovered a nasty spider mite problem. got some stuff to kill these bastards before i flip them to flower. i actually thought these insects only trouble plants when they are in flowering........seems i was wrong. problem looks cured but will folllw up again next week to make sure everything is dead including any babies that escaped and try to hatch. not seeing much growth and im not sure if it was because of the mites or the fact that they are kind of big in the veg stage for the strain. this led to ask a grow question regarding hitting a plateau in the veg stage due to the specific strain did make shift ties on the sides of the bags using 1 inch screws and some thread to give them a final trining bit before i flip them plant2 seems to be malnourished as the leaves are less dark green now compared to plant1. i have just started to fix this by foliar feeding her with an extra dose of N and slight increase in K. will monitor and see how she does going fwd. i originally wanted to veg for 12 wks minimum but i may have to flip after this week if the growth still seems slow compared to previous weeks Any suggestions, pointers or guides would be appreciated 😊 #HappyGrowing

plants have become hungry nutrient monsters. they seem to be back to normal and they have been drinking a lot now. plant1 now needs more N in her diet just like plant2 did. so i will start to feed both very heavily. plant is doing great with new shoots and i counted about 30+ sites that will be fat colas 😁 2 days since i decided to flip them....... #HappyGrowing

explosive growth so far for plant 1. she started to look clear of any defeciencies but plant2 is requiring even more extra juice than i thought. i leave the the advanced nutrient product line to handle the root zone and foliar feed with extra supplements for the N and K they need. looking forward to seeing if plant2 does something as amazing as plant1 in the stretch but only time will tell...... #HappyGrowing

so this week has been going well but still a few hiccups along the way. plant1 is a monster and is growing great. im happy with this girl in all honesty. plant2 on the other hand recovered from her N deficiency and just as quickly suffered a P deficiency. talk about a hungry plant. in 2 days she lost a lot of leaves but i flushed with FloraKleen and started foliar feeding her heavily with a bloom booster and she has since began to regain her composure and looks way better than 2 days ago. Both plants were also transplanted........plant1 into a 14gal pot and plant 2 got a makeshift raised bed on a portion of a 10x10 concrete decking still hoping that plant2 comes around as good as plant1 #HappyGrowing

So this week saw the demise of my favorite plant 😔😔😔😔 I have a mastiff/APBT mix that i was breeding with my chow/labrador mix and i suspect he peed all over my plant a few times unoticed because I let him go to do his business. Hes always tied because of his size and aggression but this was a big mistake.......again this is just 1 assumption for the carnage. I honestly dont know what could have happened in that short time or what in earth happened to my tree. I saw a stem that was half withered and half good vertically which i never witnessed before. The side with a brown line was all dead including any foliage on that side while the other half of the stem was healthy???? I also noticed it started mid way on the stem from the 3rd or 4th node up to the top of the small cola on plant2 Plant1 however is my only hope. She is continuing to do great and she showed good resistance to the weather recently. Last week was a heat wave now this week was severe rain and flooding lol. 3 days of heavy rain with little or no sun and she took all the storm conditions like a champ. All i could do to salvage plant2 was to take a few clones before the plant died. I left it to see if it would do anything different during the storm n heavy rain and it looks like it may revive itself but it may herm or just be useless............if it herms i will have feminized seeds for next grow but will have to be careful with it around my other girl. From looking at the pics and explanation of what happened to plant2 can anyone tell me if they have seen or heard of anything like this please Looking forward to next weeks struggles and as always.........#HappyGrowing 😊

In yhis week the bad luck continued and the weather and ph for the organic nutrients i was using almost sent my plant into a coma😔 I never rrally checked the ph for the advanced nutrients and i should habe done that from the begining. I realized i had nutrient lockout as the llants have everything to grow but were showing weirs leaf symptoms. I got a ph meter from a friend and to my surprise the advanced nutrients OIM line is basically acid water for the plants...........Nice job for a company that boasts and has pioneered products with PH Perfect technology 👌👌👌👌 I called them immediately to vent and they explained it to me that the organic cant be fully organic and be branded as such with the ph perfect tech. They advised me to use baking soda to get it in the 6 range again. The only thing saving my plants in veg was the compost tea i was feeding as it was closer to the 7 range in ph. I was forced to hack half the tree before it burnt up or died because of how it was looking and totalled about 230grams of wet young small buds. The other part of the tree is reviving and will hopefully make it thru harvest or if not ill chop her down but im trying to have some faith in her. Lets see how it goes and until next week...........#HappyGrowing 😊

So this week was a bit of an upside to the last month of bullshit ive been dealing with my girls. Was tempted to scrap the grow and start again but i really wanna tatse wat these blue cookies are like so i tried my best to save this girl and she just might make it through now that things are under control again. Buds are ONLY now starting to get size and the smell is amazing. She lights up my entire backyard in the mornings when the dew is heavy and honestly anytime the breeze blows past her buds. 😍 Love at first smell 😍 Watered her with straight rain water for little over a week so the soil could get back to a correct ph and will continue to moniter her Advanced nutrients products have been discontinued for now and i just use a mix of a high phoshorus and high potassium bloom boosters to let her pack on size until harvest i guess just so that i dont get any more bullshit surprises I got maybe a month before she might be ready to cut so hold on and enjoy the journey with me.............#HappyGrowing😊

No real issues this week other than the hated spidermites but i just spray them off the leaves once or twice a day and theyre under control now. Buds are looking better with a touch begining to be cloudy but like 80 or 90% are still clear. The odor is something to admire. Its a hint of blueberry with a piney cinnamon or vanilla like scent thats quite unique. She continues to light up the backyard 😍 Started adding SweetBerry from Botanicare as i felt this would help to bring out more flavour from the strain since i discontinued the advanced nutrients line. Lets see if she fattens up any more and hopefully everything continues to go ok until i put her in flush mode for harvesting..........And as always.............#HappyGrowing😊
