Cocos Grow No 1

KuaerSchlaeger After about a week in the small 0.15l pot, the ladies are now going into their big pot.

KuaerSchlaeger So the second week after repotting. We have a magnesium deficiency that I unfortunately discovered a bit later. It should get better now. A few fan leaves are coming off now so that the new side shoots can get some light.

KuaerSchlaeger The ladies were topped a few days ago. After an initial magnesium deficiency, it's now slowly but steadily getting better with a Epsom salt water solution. Now, some leaves are being removed again, and the first light training is starting. The Chimera Cut is lagging a bit in size but should also have the largest indica proportion. Interestingly, the Mimosa has developed two heads on one of the lower branches.

KuaerSchlaeger The ladies are doing great. Magnesium deficiency has calmed down and the topping was well tolerated. The growth is just a bit slower right now. One more week and then flowering will be initiated. In the 3rd picture, here's the double-headed shoot again. I haven't seen that before either 😅

KuaerSchlaeger The last week of growth. They have held up great (was away for 4 days). The light has now been switched to 12/12 and the nutrients have been adjusted for flowering. Of course, some defoliation had to be done again so that light can reach everywhere.

KuaerSchlaeger The ladies were sent into flowering a week ago, the first hairs are visible, and they have stretched a bit. As you can see, they are doing great, and I can't detect any signs of deficiencies. The Chimera Cut remains the smallest of the bunch and had to be raised to get a somewhat similar distance to the lamp. The leaves are just hanging because the picture was taken during the dark phase.

KuaerSchlaeger The sweet ones are really picking up speed now. Some have gotten another serious growth spurt, except for the ChimeraCut, which just wants to stay small 😅. They’re now consuming 2.5 liters every 3 days. A few days ago, we defoliated a bit more vigorously, which they handled super well and is directly preparing them for the lollipopping.

KuaerSchlaeger The flowering is now 3 weeks old and is in full swing. The Pink Rozay just won't stop and has gotten an extreme boost of over 10cm in a week. A nice smell is slowly developing, and the first trichomes can be seen on the sugar leaves.

KuaerSchlaeger The next week is over and the flowering is in full splendor. The smell is slowly getting stronger in the tent and the stretch seems to be over. Starting today, UVB will be added, beginning with 20 minutes a day, increasing every 2-3 days by 10-15 minutes.

KuaerSchlaeger And another week has passed. The flowering is in full swing and the buds are forming little by little. The smell is slowly getting stronger and the additional UVB exposure is now at 40 minutes a day.

KuaerSchlaeger The flowering is now 2/3 done and the buds are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really strong in the tent and it's just wonderful 😋 With the additional UVB exposure, we're now at 1 hour duration and it will continue to be gradually increased. Now there's one more week with nutrients and boosters, and then we'll only water with clear, pH-adjusted water. I estimate 2 - 2 1/2 weeks until harvest.

KuaerSchlaeger The passage is, as can be seen in some, almost over. Trichomes are nearly completely milky. The ladies received nutrients one last time, and the flush has been completed. Until the end, there will only be clear pH-adjusted water. The additional UVB exposure is at 1 hour and 20 minutes and will remain at that duration until the end. If everything goes well, harvesting will take place on November 1st.

KuaerSchlaeger Ready!!!! The last 1.5 weeks have been just water, and the nutrients are used up except for the Chimera Cut, which still has a few reserves. The trichomes are full, and in many places, you can also find some amber ones. The smell in the tent is brutal and only increases the anticipation. On Saturday, the scissors will be swung, and the harvest will take place. The additional UVB exposure remains unchanged at 1h20min.
