Chrisandweed Germinated in a glass of water and moved to the jiffy, it produced the cotyledons while in a propagator and is now in a final 20L pot as seen in the photos.

Chrisandweed Second week =). Of the autos, this is the one I'm liking the most, they're still small, but that's it.

Chrisandweed Last week of vegetative. I saw that the tips bent down and inwards, I'm not sure why, if it's nutrient burn even though it doesn't really show, or a reaction to me lowering the lights and leaving them too close, I've raised them back up; or maybe lack of water because I've noticed that this last week the consumption has skyrocketed. Overall, everything is going well and it looks like we're kicking off the flowering phase flying xD

Chrisandweed The photo was taken before watering. Now that they turn on the lights, if I can, I'll take some pictures to see if they wake up happy. This one is surprising me because it was doing okay and has kicked off the flowering really strong, without needing any pruning; the side branches are surpassing the big leaves in search of light. Edit: they just turned on the lights and there it is, happy.

Chrisandweed We're dealing with a spider mite infestation... As always, just when the autos start to flower, it seems like they have a button that alerts them 😅. Anyway, I applied diatomaceous earth with a brush on the underside of the leaves, the problem is that besides it falling on the buds, the infestation continues. I had to do a first application of spider and soap from the brand Boom Nutrients, basically a miticide and potassium soap, yesterday with the lights off, today they can breathe and tomorrow I'll hit them again. My intention is to do this as quickly as possible to stop using these products as soon as I can. The buds stained with diatomaceous earth, I especially water them while paying a thousand times attention to ensure there's an air storm in the cabinet afterward, so that no excess moisture accumulates on the buds and causes mold. Even with all that, when I harvest, I'll do a bud washing to clean off any remnants of whatever might be left on the buds. I'll leave some unwashed from the ones that look the best to compare them and confidently say whether the washed bud is better or one that hasn't been washed because it might lose terpenes.

Chrisandweed The white stuff was powdery mildew. I fought it (and still fight it) with 1% hydrogen peroxide per liter of water through foliar spraying.

Chrisandweed Muuuy beautiful buds and colors, and apparently very resinous buds.. the truth is that this one has cleaned up much better from powdery mildew than the other one that suffered from Hyperion. Now, I have to say that I feel prone to pests or problems during flowering! The vegetative stage was flying, but as soon as I entered flowering, the cultivation problems appeared (maybe I was the culprit in any of a thousand possible ways) but the mention is because everything started from this one.. if there were spider mites, this was the first one that had them, with powdery mildew just like I thought it was from diatomaceous earth but of course, a week doesn’t keep that powder there and even when you clean it, it would come back.. anyway, a sacrificial plant but apparently with a good ending, its buds are hard, muuuy hard, super hard! Really! And it smells suuuper good, we’ll see how it goes when it’s harvested. Regarding that point, when I cut it, I’ll do a bud washing to remove any remnants of powdery mildew, bugs, products, dust, everything.

Chrisandweed Edit 10/25/2025: I've already uploaded the photos of the dry buds, I haven't tried it yet, but later I'll make one with trim pollen to give it a taste and all that. The trim should be around 15/20 grams, I haven't weighed it, I have it frozen for future extraction. On the other hand, the buds look really good, it was a very easy manicure since they dried well, and 88 grams of dry, manicured buds hahahaha it's freaking awesome, my biggest yield to date per plant, and this one was smaller than the Papaya Zoap I cut, and it gave me quite a bit more! I'm happy with the result although I insist I wouldn't know what to think about the resistance. Alright, cut down. I liked the plant, especially the vegetative stage since it went really well without showing problems and all... Now, when flowering came, that’s when everything kicked off, just like the other one, the Hyperion, with powdery mildew and spider mites. I emphasize that I had two other rather large and beautiful plants that also suffered, but as a joke... One leaf was bad due to bugs, some with a bit of powdery mildew... but overall they held up really well, the others. Anyway, this plant is really beautiful, the central bud is gorgeous, it's a shame my phone messed up most of the last photos before cutting it, that's why some of these last photos look bad, look at them from afar, they improve hahahahaha. Well, I did bud washing and uploaded the photos to show it, it's not a video... Maybe in the future there will be something on YouTube, but basically, it's 3 buckets, since I don't have buckets I took a jug, cut it, and added 7 liters of water and 100ml of hydrogen peroxide (3% peroxide), I took two large tupperware, filled them with water, and added half a tablespoon of baking soda in each and half a squeezed lemon as well, mixed it all well. Finally, I took a pot because I didn't have any more large tupperware available xD and osmosis water (or bottled) but cold. -Step 1: rinse the bud, branch, or whatever you want to clean, for about 20/30 seconds in the jug with the hydrogen peroxide. -Step 2: shake off a bit of what you've rinsed and put it to rinse in one of the tupperware with baking soda and lemon (you can use 3, 4 tupperware, or a bucket... after all, it's about quantity so you don't do it all in 3 liters and end up cleaning crap with crap :) ). Here for another 20/30 seconds. -Step 3: finally rinse in the last tupperware, basin, whatever, with CLEAN water (from osmosis or bottled) and cold, so it drags away the last remnants better. Finally, you let it dry for about 3/4 hours on a drying rack or wherever you can, but with ventilation so that the water finishes evaporating, or at least the bulk of it. Once that time has passed and you see that the fat buds, at the bottom (if they're upside down) are dry, without excess water, you take them to where you're going to dry them, in my case to the cabinet, and for that reason, I'm going to give them a bit more time outside to avoid raising the humidity too much since I have the Papaya Zoap drying and it will still need about 4 or 5 days. When it dries, I'll upload the results and photos of the manicure and everything... I think it's going to be a good yield and since I stretched it quite a bit, I hope it has a sedative effect because besides flavor and aromas, that's the effect I'm looking for in the herb, to help with sleep. I clarify: the wet weight is made up hahahaha honestly, plus I wasn't going to weigh it wet, I mean, freshly cut xD, I also wasn't going to weigh it considering that I submerged the buds in solutions to clean them, so they would weigh like 4 or 5 times more than the freshly cut weight xD.
