Chrisandweed I'm really hyped about this strain in question. Germinated in a tupper, moved to jiffy in a propagator, and once the cotyledons were out, moved to the cabinet with medium-high humidity.

Chrisandweed Third week of growth, the one that was lagging behind the most has picked up speed and is catching up to the big ones, the CBD one that was huge at the start, and an unexpected Platinum OG that has started to push growth and has surpassed the rest of the feminized ones. Overall, they are all doing very well.

Chrisandweed From what I'm feeling about this, normal growth leaning towards good, but nothing crazy at the moment. It is true that it's very leafy, and maybe with the transplant later there will be some surprises.

Chrisandweed First apical cut on the photoperiods. Since they have all grown many branches, I will probably do a second apical cut to take cuttings if possible and then flower them. The photos correspond to Monday, September 15th.

Chrisandweed Transplanting is coming up soon. The white on the plant is diatomaceous earth, which I had to use because I had a red spider mite infestation. All the feminized plants have reacted very well to the apical cut; there was no sign of very acute stunting, and all the shoots are growing upwards. The plan is to transplant, let them recover, do a second apical cut on all the tips to even them out in height, and I’ll probably set up a homemade scrog net that I made (I don't remember if it was 1x1 or 1.2x1.2 meters). Initially, I would have liked to clone all the feminized plants, all 4, and make mothers out of them, but I’m not sure if I will end up doing that. For now, I won't since I still don’t have a tent to put the mothers in, and I’ll have to see if I get one sooner rather than later or later rather than sooner.

Chrisandweed The white stuff was powdery mildew. I fought it (and I'm still fighting it) with 1% hydrogen peroxide per liter of water using foliar spraying. Edit 2/10: defoliated to clean up the powdery mildew and prepare for transplanting.

Chrisandweed I really want to flower it!! I don't know why, but I'm super excited about this one in particular; out of the whole grow, this is the one I'm most looking forward to! As soon as I cut the autos that I have left, the feminized ones are going into pots of I don't remember if they were 5 or 7 liters, I think they were 7, and then I'll give them a couple of weeks of growth to shape them with another topping that I'll do, and then it's time to flower, so I can smoke them by New Year's. Editing Tuesday 07/10/2025: I'm transplanting to a 7L pot.

Chrisandweed Week of treatments and fuss, the day before yesterday I foliar fed with potassium soap and a product for spider mites and pests, and tomorrow or the day after I will do it with the product for fungi and mold, and then in a few days I will wash with water and hydrogen peroxide. In that process, I will make apical cuts on all the branches and defoliate so that once these days of torture are over, I can give them a week or two and put them into flowering.

Chrisandweed I do apical cuts on all the tips except for the 2 top branches that I will use to make cuttings from this plant. I will cut them leaving a bud so they don't go to waste, and I will use the cut branch as a cutting. Curiosity!: at some point this plant revegetated and went back to vegetative growth again, result? The tips of all the branches are very bushy, meaning it has a lot of tips, that's why I haven't defoliated this one, I've only done the apical cut, to see if we can get many quality tips. Edit 21/10/25: the new photos show it well defoliated and its apicals. I've already taken 2 cuttings from each photoperiod plant, let's see if they root. My process is short, I remove nodes, rinse in water with preventive products, scrape the bottom of the stem with a knife to roughen the base of the stem, and finally, I dip it in Clonex and into the jiffy, I keep it in the mini greenhouse from the photos and I make sure they always have high humidity, trying not to wet the soil of the jiffys directly. By defoliating, I've been able to clearly see what I mentioned, apparently it revegetated or something because it feels very, very bushy, at the tip of some of its branches there can be up to 5 or 6 nodes where there usually are 1 or 2.

Chrisandweed Final transplant week and tie-downs. Next week, flowering starts.... LIGHT CYCLE 14/14!!! Let's see how it goes with this light cycle!! I'll put a slightly high SCROG net for the little ones, and at the height of the cut for the tall ones to later put another one and finish controlling the height... That's going to be a problem hahaha

Chrisandweed Explosive growth is kicking off! They're going full throttle! I'm doing some aggressive foliar applications to clean up powdery mildew, pests, and leftovers, taking advantage of the 14-14 cycle since it usually means one or two weeks of transition from vegetative to flowering; in this case, we’ll need to add at least another week. Now, at the beginning of next week, the week of December 8th, I'm getting insecticide and fungicide products, and I'll give them a good application so we can have a peaceful flowering. Also, in the foliar sprays, I'm using silica more often to see if it strengthens them, and like I said, we’ll have a peaceful flowering.

Chrisandweed You can start to see the beginning of bud formation 🔥🔥 In the end, under the 14+14 photoperiod, all 4 feminized plants I have are flowering. At the beginning of the week, I did a very aggressive final cleaning to finish sweeping away the powdery mildew and spider mites with an 80% sulfur product, hence the white spots on the leaves (the spots are not bothersome, they're remnants of the sulfur, not powdery mildew, and this time it's noticeable because the powdery mildew spots are definitely irregular and appear anywhere on the leaf, whereas this sulfur is at the tip, where the greatest accumulation of residues occurs with these applications) and I'm really very happy with the product. Also, next week I'm going to activate a fungicide discharge pump compatible with the plants, inside the cabinet, to finish eliminating spores and everything. I insist and never get tired of saying it, of the 4 I have, this is the one I'm most excited about, for no reason, just because potato, and despite being the one I'm most excited about, it's the one I'm liking the most in terms of shape, cultivation, growth, etc. It lets you do whatever you want, adapts to everything, and of the pests that have been around, it's one of the best at handling everything, so far of course! Hahahaha then during flowering it starts to poke me for being a big mouth and I mess it up hahahahahaha let's hope not... Let's hope that with the cold we get good results... And let's hope to learn a ton from these grows.

Chrisandweed I'm not sure if it's the 14/14, but they're all growing suuuper vigorous! At the end of this week, I'll do some low pruning. Just to clarify since I post photos any day of the week, the photos are usually taken on Mondays, the flowering started on November 28, and this week, the one on Monday (today) December 15, corresponds to the third week, which feels like a mess with the app since I have to mark this as the fourth week.

Chrisandweed Well, as you can see, I've stripped them bare... Nothing, I literally had no choice, a lot of spider mites that just wouldn't go away no matter what, so I've stripped mainly the tips... And I would say I did it methodically, but I really don't know if my calculations will be correct 🤣🤣 since I'm going for 14/14, I want to think that the flowering will be much longer, so I'll have longer recovery times... Maybe not 🤣 I don't know, we'll find out hahaha. I've finished the pruning on the 4 plants, although I literally had to do one per day due to limitations 💀 but well, one day the doctors will operate on me hahaha and to my delight, I discover that out of the 4, one is already resinous and only that one, it already has the tent full of aromas, it's specifically the CBD Amnesia, making it clear that literally at the moment my absolute favorite strain is Amnesia, CBD or not xD but the taste of a good Amnesia, that citrusy incense... Wow, I can't wait!

Chrisandweed Engorde weenooo engoorde real jajajajaja Well, good news since the crazy population of red spider mites has dropped to a minimum! Generally, I hardly see them anymore, but I know there are still a few left, so I'll do one more cleaning with neem oil and potassium soap, but just one more, maybe tonight or tomorrow. After this application, the use of these products will be over, and the next foliar wash I’ll do will be a cinnamon tea, I’ll make a concentrate by boiling water with powdered cinnamon, filtering it so there’s no residue left. I’ll do this with antifungal intentions and to control humidity a bit more to keep the bugs in check. P.S.: Seriously! I’m thrilled with this strain. I bought it on the Alchimia website, and in the comments section, people were talking badly about this strain, specifically this one, the Grower Choice selection, and I’m telling you I’m waiting to finish the grow so I can go back to those comments and post the link to this grow because for me, it’s truly one of the most beautiful, resilient plants, with great smell, structure, recovery, everything, for me this is definitely in my top 3!!

Chrisandweed Well, they're doing muuuy well, maybe I overdid it with the scissors on some variety and just relying on the buds, I won't get much yield but hey, whatever comes out gets smoked, and what doesn't, gets grown again xD. The plants are giving off a smell... It has everything stinking! Hahaha in a good way! I clarify that these photos are literally right after turning on the lights after 6 hours of a total discharge antifungal product that I used in the dark. The product is valid for flowering, plus I think there will still be a month until harvest, more than enough time + 2 weeks of drying + another 2 weeks of curing (let's not kid ourselves, it will be smoked as soon as it's dry xD but the theory is to wait until it's cured). The time I'm mentioning is just to say, more than enough time for the residues to go away. Due to the product, which I placed in the center of the closet, the closest branches have suffered from chemical stress and have closed stomata, that's why they're browner or drooping, even looking like they have water stress. Next week when I upload the photos, we'll see the changes :). PS: I love this strain xD huge buds, it resists everything, I still see a tiny spider but it's handling it muuuy very well, and its smell.... I understand it has at least two very marked phenotypes, I've only germinated 1 of the 4 seeds I have and I have to say that this one turned out to be the gassy one! It smells like gas! Esssagerao! Hahahaha it smells super strong of gas with fruits, it's like you soaked a basket of those sweet-smelling fruits with gasoline on top hahaha it's the strong aftertaste of gin and tonic but more pronounced. I can't wait to try it.

Chrisandweed Well, the disaster happened. I used a discharge pump (one of those sprays that you press and it sprays everything) that is supposedly compatible with the plants inside.... It got messy, you can see in the photos and video that many leaves have reacted, phytotoxicity and all. Anyway, I'm going to finish the grow, a lot of the harvest should be saved, in principle, but that's that. Aside from that, the plant keeps producing a lot of resin, fattening up the bud and smelling really strong like gas and fruits.

Chrisandweed Well, yesterday I did the last watering, more than usual, and once it dries, I'll cut it. I suppose I'll update photos as the week goes on, of the cut and the subsequent process since there were spider mites and some issues, I'm going to do the budwashing that I usually do. Last days for this plant, I've noticed a final swelling of the buds that are even falling off from the weight! Very very very top strain, saying I'm happy is an understatement. But hey, let's not rush, I'll cut it and in a couple of weeks I'll finish the diary with the buds already dried and manicured + my opinion after trying them even if they aren't cured by then. Edit 12-02-2026: CUT! Already hanging to dry xD since there were some spider mites in the cabinet although they didn't affect all the plants (not this one), I decided to do budwashing for all of them, not without a little joint to get me focused and some good music 😁. (In the end, she accepted to lend her voice 🙄😂). Normally, I would upload photos of the process, but this time, even though it's a bit more tedious, I uploaded a video of the process. When it dries, I'll finish the diary and upload photos of the manicured buds. Just to clarify, I put it to dry in the drying rack but moved it to the cabinet without lights and all that XD just an oscillating fan and an extractor with a filter, because I already messed it up outside just with the cut 😅😂😂😂 I HAVE A F*CKING HYPE FOR THIS! hahahahaha I want to manicure it and see it blue! It's purple but I'm going.... LET'S see blue! 😂😂

Happy Harvest Day!

I liked it a lot, but either because of my thing, or because the phenomenon is like this, the structure of the buds I didn't like, not very dense, compact yes, but not very dense and not very big. Growing it has been super easy, it adapted to everything great, and look, I made a mess with it, and it suffered messes xD. As for resistance, it's quite good, but not iron, it's not that it's capable of withstanding a strong plague in the closet, but it's one of those that suffer the least and recovers the fastest.

Chrisandweed I'll upload more photos and some videos these days. Well, regarding the plant, as I mentioned, it has been great to grow it, but when it came time to harvest, it left me with a bit of a bad taste, especially in terms of bud production. I have to say that the resin, if it's not the most resinous plant I've grown, it's definitely up there xD and the flavor, I can clearly say it's the one with the most pronounced flavor profile of all the ones I've grown, not just the ones I've cultivated, but also the ones I've tried. There are hits that taste like those gummy bear candies with blackberries, just like that. It hasn't cured yet; it's just been jarred, so we'll see how it is once it cures.
