Enochian I enjoyed my last micro grow so much I have decided to do another. 7 plants this time. With my Autos in the Flower tent for the next 6 to 8 weeks I decided to use the 2x2x4 veg tent as a second flower tent for this grow. I have learned that there is nothing like smoking ya own produce while keeping ya cash in ya pocket where it belongs. I can upgrade my equipment with the money I am saving. This month I bought a Viperspectre P1000 light to replace/supplement the generic quantum board one that came with the tent. All seeds popped out a tap root and were potted yesterday. Just water with a pipette for now until they show. Fingers crossed. I love growing stuff almost as much as I love smoking the stuff that I grow. 😎

Enochian So... 4 out of 7 above ground. Think I lost a couple in the potting. No matter. Will go forward with the 4 at 12/12. Added some humidity during the first week and now they up n out I will reduce and start them on a little Biobizz grow in the watering. 2 white widow, 1 each of Critical mass and Critical Kush. Added the axial flo fan from flower tent as an added Extractor now I have a better one so upgrades all round.

Enochian A slow start but they finding their pace now. Added another light to this tent. 150 to 200W all in. Temp is steady but humidity low so added a humidifier. Temp 24/25 humidity 50 and VPD around 1 to 1.2. Not much to say for this week. Onwards and upwards as they say.

Enochian Big difference from last week. These girls are finding their individual pace now. No topping or training this cycle just pushing them to grow and flower as best they can with as little interference as possible from me. The Critical x has dominated the tent up to now, with Critical Mass a close second. The two White Widow are off to a slow start but will catch up soon. All good in the garden of earthly delights this week.

Enochian Note to self: Prepare better in future. Harvested autos in tent 1. Had to move plants from tent 2 to tent 1 so I could use tent 2 to dry autos. Forgot about F1 Titan auto still in tent 1 with 4 to 5 weeks to go. Arghhh. So...I put 12/12 grow in with Titan (18/6). I now have to remove plants at 9pm and replace at 9am until tent 2 is empty again after drying. Too many balls in the air now. Need to learn to slow down a bit, I think.  Critical X is twice the size of the other 3 so had to bend her over. All are well into preflower now. Happy daze.

Enochian 11/9/25 Critical x got off to a flying start had to supercrop to get her to bend without breaking. The others are catching up slowly. Another straight forward week, which is why I like doing a 12/12 micro grow because they grow up not out which I can manage easily and RH stays within target. They smell sweet and heady already (I like how that sounds).

Enochian Lots of bending and folding going on to keep these ladies manageable. The last 12/12 grow was much less dense. That said there are also much more buds which is good! Critical X has been the fastest and presumably will finish before the White Widow and Critical Mass. In fact, the widows seem to be slow bloomers or maybe just overcrowded by the growth of the 2 Criticals. All seem happy and low maintenance once again. Had a defoliate and bend today let some light under the canopy. Smell is wonderful. All in all another good week.

Enochian 25/9/25 The critical X has dominated the tent since she germinated and she looks to be further into flower than her companions although some are starting to fade on the top cola leaves already. Dryback also seems a fair bit slower than the previous weeks too. Was feeding .5 of a litre every AM per pot and dry 24 hours later but the last couple of days pots still damp and not dry for 48hrs or more. Temps have dropped consistently here from 28C to around 15C in the last few weeks but tent temps are consistent (around 23.5 to 25 lights on). Trichomes are building on the Crit X but not so much with the others. Genetics I presume. Bought a temp and humidity sensor for this tent too so I can check without opening tent. Great little gadgets. VPD is good all other variables in the safe zone and ladies seem happy and content.

Week 9. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

As Ice Headshop is a seedbank and not a breeder, I was very satisfied with this purchase. I have tried to keep costs down on seed purchases as I am still pretty new to growing so if it all goes tits up I have only wasted time not money and I am very impressed with the yield and quality so far. The test will be in the smoke but I cant imagine I will be disappointed. All the above strains cost me around £10 in total for reference. I am more confident with my growing now and next grow will use top breeder strains and more expensive seeds but for those that are new to growing and want quality for less expenditure I recommend Ice Headshop's own seeds.

Enochian Had not thought to check trichomes in micro tent as they still just short of ten weeks but as I was defoliating, I wanted to satisfy my curiosity and I am glad I did. Amber across all her buds. She did mature first and has dominated the tent since day 1 so not too surprised. Considering she had no veg to speak of only 12/12 light cycle she grew big and strong and smelly. I have much more room now for the others to finish without being too crowded. happy grower here. 😃

Enochian And so, the grow goes on. 2 x White Widow and one Critical mass still to go. Checkin the trichomes every other day now as they seem to almost ready. Maybe another week or so. WW have progressed much further than the critical who is still growing bum fluff buds. Smell is wonderful tho. My last Micro Grow was under 1 light to begin with before I added another, this one was seeded under both and the difference tween the two grows is remarkable. Much more side growth this time instead of a single cola as with the last one. 200W in a 2x2 was definitely the way to go. My yields have been much better in both the Photo and the Auto tents. Another good week in the Micro tent. Looking forward to harvest soon. 😎

Hey, Im using the SF1000D from Spider farm too. I can see that you also have another LED lamp. Wasnt the SF1000D enough light for you or you just wanted an upgrade? :) Good luck

Enochian commented1mo ago
@Scandic, My first grows were under a single SF1000D as it was all I could afford at the time and it did its job to be fair, but I soon realised I would get better results with another 50- 100W light in the tent so I went ahead an got a Mars Hydro TS600 (neither lights are dimmable) however I had to micro manage temps and humidity. I saved up and got 2 replacement dimmable lights and used the SF and TS in this 2x2. Eventually I will replace both of these with dimmable 100W lights too. I dont know if it was the right thing to do but I have not looked back since. To keep costs and plant size down to a minimum I decided to do a 12/12 micro grow in this tent as I have Auto's in the other. I like to experiment a little. It helps me understand things better.

@Enochian, Thanks for the knowledge! Im also thinking about getting another 100W for flower.. ill probably choose the SF1000 from spider farm. Its a little more expensive than the SF1000D but its also has a better PAR output and is dimmable. :) But good to hear that the SF1000D did fine for you :)

Some beautiful girls you've got here and those leaves! Damn they are wide! I have been toying with the idea of running 12/12 on a future grow. It'll definitely save electricity in the winter. You said that they grow up, instead of out. What exactly did you mean by that, because you can control that with training.
Enochian
Enochian commented25d ago
@ThomFoolery, Thanks man. If I skip the veg 18/6 light period n start them 12/12 from the moment they pop up from the soil they tend to concentrate on growing and flowering the main cola. Any other growth is localised to the main stem and has little stretch. I have a small space (2x2x4) so humidity can get out of hand with bushy plants allowed to veg before flipping.and they would almost certainly get too close to my lights (200W). This way I can keep foliage to a minimum and the stretch stops around 14 inches from the light. This way I can keep my VPD within a vague target area too. I find it to be a low maintenence grow as well as economical. Last one gave me around 10g dry flower per plant. I think this method is best employed with more plants in a larger tent for better yields etc but that does not suit my personal requirements. Stealth grow. lol. 😎
