Ph_cubed First diary. Here to record this for me but figured others might want to know how Ricky’s Hash Plant turns out. Hopefully I finish this journal… Day 0. Friday. 9/8/25. Soil mix is about 50/30/20 of dirt, worm castings, and a coco/perlite blend I used for my hydro grows. This is my first real dirt grow. I have previously used dirt for outdoor and auto grows. Soil has been topped up with a little Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 and Power Bloom 2-8-4. Xtreme Gardening myco in the blend with a little drop in the seed pit before planting. Once the roots establish, add some Future Harvest Prop-o-gator. Following directions on the packages, numbers on here not 100%. Seeds were planted Sunday (Aug 4/25). RHP seeds were all small and pale. I was honestly not sure if they would pop. They all did but sprouts are slow to start and cotlyhedons are super tiny. The WW clone is doing well. The fire cookie seed was started a week earlier. The other sprouted seedlings are in-house seeds from a White Wedding RBX crossed with Galactic Runtz. They were planted the same day as RHP. They are all standing tall and strong (GR grows big dense nugs on really lanky limbs, it really stretches right from seed). We’ll call this strain galactic wedding. Anyway, the fire cookies and galactic wedding are for a different project.

Ph_cubed I like to consider the first couple weeks to be still germinating, the site does not allow for that. So, the vegetation process begins. Plants have first leaves, about to stretch out second node. Put another milk crate in instead of lowering the light. Easier on my back. They are a little close at 15” but seem to enjoy it. Started bottom feeding, using propagator. They were just getting water from a dropper, don’t want to drown anyone. The plants will get another feeding with propa before we change the formula. They also got a top up with worm castings. I am re-using old dirt so I want to make sure it has enough nutes to support the plant. Some of the other plants going might end up in another diary, some might be given to friends. Not sure yet so documenting them all here. The RHP are all quite short. Other diaries show more normal sized plants. I am worried I got some runts but time will tell. WW RBX is doing good. Clone is starting to show new growth. I have grown it before. It puts out a lot of bud sites. Extremely citrus/lime flavoured. 15/8/25

Ph_cubed Fri 22/8/25 - Day 14 Veg week 2. (I still consider this germ/seedling, pre veg, but house rules.) Last week of feeding propagator, will feed a new mix next feeding onward as they turn into real plants. Feeding primarily from bottom. I still give the odd top drop so the plants are not starving as they stretch down low. Trying to keep top dry. The plants are also getting foliar spray of General Hydroponics Armor Si now that we have a couple sets of leaves (surprised the brand isn’t on here…). Will spray every few days, eventually stopping foliar in favour of putting it in the reservoir Dealing with a fungal gnat infection (entirely due to my own poor choices). Since the plants are still so small I am using some Last Crawl (diatomaceous earth), you can see it covering the soil. It is safe for you and the plants, not for the gnats. It is beneficial to your soil drainage as well although it does dry things out. If the girls were bigger, I would use some nematodes but those require keeping the plants wet for three days. I am worried about drowning the plants at this size. I also use some Sticky Stiks to help. Lastly, I did give a couple tablespoons of worm castings top dress to each plant. Cotlyedons are all still looking green. Should be good for another week or two before I transfer and feed.

Ph_cubed 30/8/25 - Day 22 Veg week 3 (I would consider this to be week one. We got actual plants now, they’re past the seedling stage.) Moved the girls to my big tent now that the last crop has been harvested. Everything is looking healthy and green. Steady growth, bigger leaves. The Spder Farmer G8600 was slowly turned up once they came in, up to 50% power. It will stay here through veg. I will lower the light to 16” over several days, currently at 23”. Gave them a little top dress of Gaia Green All Purpose and Kelp Meal, plus some worm castings. Still down feeding exclusively. Put Cal Mag and Planticillin in the reservoir. Armor Si is currently a foliar but will probably add to reservoir soon. Using manufacturer recommendations, numbers on here are rubbish. The diatomaceous earth worked great on the gnats. They appear to be gone, knock on wood. Had to prune a couple leaves from the RBX clones. Mostly just waiting at this point. The wait continues…

Ph_cubed Day 28, Week 4 (Veg Week 2) Friday 5/9/25 Ricky's Hash Plant / White Wedding RBX have been transplanted into 1 gal pots. They'll stay in these for the next month or so. These are my main grow. I just get the cheap blow pots from the local garden supply shop. Prefer plastic for veg, fabric for flower. The four Galactic Wedding that remain will be a new journal eventually. I plan to keep them together under my big light as long as possible. They are more of a "fun" grow than anything serious, hence why they're on the ground. They were moved into "2 gal" blow pots (1.5 actually). They will likely remain in these for the rest of their grow. The transplanted soil is a blend of (previous grow) top soil, worm castings, and coco coir (2/1/1). The has been amended with Gaia Green's 4-4-4 and Kelp Meal, Xtreme Gardening's Myco, and Vigoro Blood Meal (Home Depot house brand). Additionally, I toss some myco direct on the roots and into the transplant hole when I move the plants to help ease the transplant shock. My tent has been running hot the last couple days. It has impacted the plants. Both of my Vivosun AeroWave E6 fans quit oscillating at the same time. I have replacement units coming (under warranty). Additionally, I have also ordered some new seeds. Not sure what next grow will be yet, debating between G13 Genius, THC Bomb, and Hindu Kush. Finally, not sure why this website quit working on mobile browsers (at least for me.) Both Safari and Firefox just get stuck in a loop, Says something broke, reloads the homepage, and repeats the process. I had to type this up on my laptop. I am a lazy shit, not sure how frequent updates will be if I had to take all these extra steps to upload pics. ***Due to the delay with updating, I did top the main grow as well as remove the bottom nodes in an effort to push them taller. GW's aren't getting topped. I will put this in the next update though.

Ph_cubed Week 5 - Day 35 Fri 12/9/25 Gals are growing strong. Roots are starting to poke out of the pots. They stalks are huge on these RHP. Hopefully this leads to some big buds. I suspect it is the Armor Si as the GW stalk is pretty thick too, more than it's moms from what I recall. Placebo is a helluva drug though and this is my first time using it in my feed, take it with a grain of salt. Topped the plants last Saturday as well as removed the lowest nodes in an effort to push the plant up. They barely went up at all this week but they got thicc. I also removed the top fan leaves today in an effort to get some more light on the lower nodes. This is my first indoor photo grow with dirt and slow release nutes. Some of the plants looked nitro hungry after transplant. I added a couple TBSP of blood meal (12-0-0) to all the gals. It is slow release and appears to be working. Still dealing with my fungal gnat infestation. Did not help that I overwatered last weekend. Probably going to have to swap to nematodes since the gnats keep crawling in through the bottom of the pots. Replacement fans come in tomorrow finally. The one Ricky's is clearly taking a beating from the fans not oscillating. Mostly just hanging out and letting them grow for another couple weeks. Decided on the next grow - Sensi Seeds Hindu Kush. Ordered a 5-pack but only received a 3-pack. Unfortunately that means I will be praying they all germinate and running one less plant if I'm lucky. Expect a new diary about those in a couple weeks. Peace
