Chrisandweed Week 2, good growth.

Chrisandweed Well, here’s the machine of the feminized ones that I have, it took a while to sprout from the seed, it took a while to come out of the jiffy, it was the slowest one.. and suddenly POOOOM it’s already surpassing all except for the really big one, and I think it doesn’t have much left xD.

Chrisandweed Very good and big, drink a lot, I water it every day and the next day the soil is dry.

Chrisandweed In the end, it surpassed the CBD one, this is the biggest finally jajajaja despite being the last one to germinate. We'll have to see how these GB strains perform, but at least for now, very good.

Chrisandweed First apical cut on the photoperiods. Surely since they have all grown many branches, I'll do a second apical cut to take cuttings if possible and then flower them. The photos correspond to Monday, September 15th.

Chrisandweed Transplanting is coming up soon. The white on the plant is diatomaceous earth, which I had to use because I had a red spider mite infestation. All the feminized plants have reacted very well to the apical cut; there was no sign of very sharp stress, and all the shoots are growing upwards. The plan is to transplant, let them recover, do a second apical cut on all the tips to even them out in height, and I’ll probably set up a homemade scrog net that I made (I can't remember if it was 1x1 or 1.2x1.2 meters). Initially, I would have liked to clone all the feminized plants, all 4 of them, and make mothers, but I don’t know if I’ll actually do it. For now, I won’t since I still don’t have a tent to put the mothers in, and I’ll have to see if I get one sooner rather than later or later rather than sooner.

Chrisandweed The white stuff was powdery mildew. I fought it (and still do) with 1% hydrogen peroxide per liter of water through foliar spraying. Edit 2/10: defoliated to clean up the powdery mildew and prepare for transplanting.

Chrisandweed More of the same haha huge! I'm definitely going to make clones of all of them.. buuuuut I kept this one with a special kind of love and who knows, maybe one day I'll introduce her to my friend hash plant, they hit it off, have a little baby, and I get a platinum hash hahaha. Against the powdery mildew and the spider mites I had in the closet, this plant handled it the best.

Chrisandweed Week of treatments and fuss, the day before yesterday I foliar fed with potassium soap and a product for spider mites and pests, and tomorrow or the day after I'll do it with the product for fungi and mold, and then in a few days I'll wash with water and hydrogen peroxide. During that process, I'll make apical cuts on all the branches and defoliate so that once these days of torture are over, I'll give them one or two weeks and put them into flowering.

Chrisandweed Final transplant and tying week. Next week the flowering starts.... LIGHT PERIOD 14/14!!! Let's see how it goes with this light period!! I'll put a SCROG net a bit high for the small ones, and at the height of the cut for the tall ones to later put another one and finish controlling the height... It's going to be a problem hahaha

Chrisandweed Explosive growth is starting! They're going all out! I'm doing some aggressive foliar applications to clean up powdery mildew, pests, and residues, taking advantage of the fact that with 14-14, there's usually one or two weeks of transition from vegetative to flowering, but in this case, we’ll need to add at least another week. Now, at the beginning of next week, the week of December 8th, I'm getting insecticide and fungicide products, and I'll give them a good application so we can have a peaceful flowering. Also, in the foliar sprays, I'm using silica more often to see if it strengthens them, and like I said, we want a peaceful flowering.

Chrisandweed You can start to see the beginning of bud formation 🔥🔥 In the end, under the 14+14 photoperiod, all 4 feminized plants I have are flowering. At the beginning of the week, I did a very aggressive final cleaning to finish off the powdery mildew and spider mites with an 80% sulfur product, hence the white spots on the leaves (the spots are not bothersome, they're remnants of the sulfur, not powdery mildew, and this time it's noticeable because the powdery mildew spots are definitely irregular and appear anywhere on the leaf, while this sulfur is at the tip, where the greatest accumulation of residues occurs with these applications) and I'm really happy with the product. Also, next week I'm going to activate a fungicide discharge pump compatible with the plants, inside the cabinet, to finish eliminating spores and everything. Let's hope that with the cold we get good results... And let's hope to learn a lot from these crops. For this plant, one branch stretched a lot and I've already bent it down, I haven't done super cropping, I think that's what it's called, where you pinch the stem and bend it, what I've done is use the scrog net to lay it totally horizontal and let it grow however it wants xD but at the right height.

Chrisandweed I'm not sure if it's 14/14, but they're all growing very vigorously! At the end of this week, I'll do some low pruning. Just to clarify since I upload photos any day of the week, the photos are usually taken on Mondays, flowering started on November 28, and this week, the one from Monday (today) December 15, corresponds to the third week, which with the app feels confusing since I have to mark this as the fourth week.

Chrisandweed Well, as you can see, I’ve done some serious trimming... I literally had no choice, there was a huge spider mite infestation that just wouldn’t go away, so I trimmed mainly the tips... And I’d say I did it like a pro, but honestly, I’m not sure if my calculations are correct 🤣🤣 since I’m going with 14/14, I want to think that the flowering will be much longer, which means I’ll have longer recovery times... Maybe not 🤣 I don’t know, we’ll find out, hahaha. I’ve finished the trimming on the 4 plants, although I literally had to do one per day due to limitations 💀 but hey, one day the doctors will operate on me, hahaha. And to my delight, I discover that out of the 4, one is already resinous and only that one, it already has the tent full of aromas, it’s specifically the CBD Amnesia, making it clear that right now my absolute favorite strain is Amnesia, CBD or not xD but the taste of a good Amnesia, that citrusy incense... Wow, I can’t wait!

Chrisandweed Here comes the big one

Chrisandweed Engorde weenooo engoorde real jajajajaja Well, good news since the crazy population of red spider mites has dropped to a minimum! Generally, I hardly see them anymore, but I know there are still a few left, so I’ll do one more cleaning with neem oil and potassium soap, but just one more, maybe tonight or tomorrow. After this application, the use of these products will be over, and the next foliar wash I’ll do will be a cinnamon tea, I’ll make a concentrate by boiling water with powdered cinnamon, filtering it so there are no residues. I’ll do this with antifungal intentions and to control the humidity a bit more to keep the bugs in check. P.S.: this strain is getting more and more interesting to me, it’s looking very white and that’s cool haha I hope it produces fat buds and that would meet a very top set of requirements, REALLY TOP, for later, when I have the second cabinet (for mothers and clones), I’ll cross it with a regular hash plant I have... Just imagine what could come out of that!

Chrisandweed Well, they're doing suuuper well, maybe in some variety I overdid it with the scissors and just trusting the buds, I won't get much yield but hey, whatever comes out gets smoked, and what doesn't, gets grown again xD. The plants are giving off a smell... It's got everything stinking! Hahaha, in a good way! I clarify that these photos are literally right after turning on the lights after 6 hours of a total release antifungal product that I used in the dark. The product is valid for flowering, plus I think there's still a month left until harvest, plenty of time + 2 weeks of drying + another 2 weeks of curing (let's not kid ourselves, it will get smoked as soon as it's dry xD but the theory is that I’ll wait until it’s cured). The time I'm mentioning is just to say, more than enough time for the residues to go away. Due to the product, which I placed in the center of the cabinet, the closest branches have suffered from chemical stress and have closed stomata, that's why they are browner or drooping, even looking like they have water stress. Next week when I upload the photos, we’ll see the changes :).

Chrisandweed Well, the disaster happened. I used a discharge pump (one of those sprays that you squeeze and it sprays everything) that is supposedly compatible with the plants inside.... It got messy, you can see in the photos and video that many leaves have reacted, phytotoxicity and all. Anyway, I'm going to finish the grow, a lot of the harvest should be saved, in principle, but that's it.

Chrisandweed Ninth week of flowering out of 11 that are almost definitely going to take all of them. Wow, they all seem to have a jelly of trichomes on top, I hope they turn out super delicious!

Chrisandweed Well, yesterday I did the last watering, more than usual, and once it dries, I'll cut it. I suppose I'll update photos as the week goes on, of the cut and the subsequent process since there were spider mites and certain problems, I'm going to do the budwashing that I usually do. In the video, you can see some buds with red spider web, hence the budwashing. On the bright side, not all the buds have it, but a good wash doesn't hurt anything. Edit 12-02-2026: HARVESTED! already put to dry on the drying rack xD since there was some spider in the cabinet although it hadn't affected all the plants, I decided to do budwashing on all of them, not without a little joint to focus and good music 😁. Normally I would upload photos of the process, but this time, even though it's a bit more tedious, I've uploaded a video of the process. When it dries, I'll finish the diary and upload photos of the manicured buds. Just to clarify, I put it to dry on the drying rack but moved it to the cabinet without lights and such XD just an oscillating fan and extractor with the filter, because just with the cut, I messed it up outside 😅😂😂😂 Well, the truth is that it turned out more than I thought, since I had it tucked away, it was the most inaccessible, it was harder for me to see it well. Some buds are covered in webs and I focus on them in the video to show it, but others aren't, so I understand that despite my mistakes, the resistance is more average, since others have either suffered more or hardly suffered at all, but in short, I feel like it's a very good strain but not for growing it the way I did, this one looks like one of those you put outdoors and it shoots up to 3 meters. Well, they're there to try and experiment xD

Chrisandweed Well, it's cut. The plant has been amazing and I want to grow it again in a more controlled way. Its flavor is very smooth, creamy, and earthy I would say, and I'm not sure if I got any menthol notes. It's a fact that it hasn't cured yet, its real profile hasn't come out, but freshly dried and manicured, the first tasting is A MUST hahahaha gives that result. Its effects are literally like: "eeehhh chill out.." hahahaha it leaves you super chill, I can't explain it, this plant has such good vibes hahahaha there are some that make you feel like your head is really crazy, or that you trip a lot, this one is more balanced, but at the same time you're aware of the punch you're carrying hahahaha I'll upload more detailed photos in the coming days. I divided the manicure between the larger and drier leaves that are not smokeable but have some resin, the smaller ones that come from the fine manicuring of the bud I kept as smokeable with resin and then the manicured buds. With the trimming, I mean the leaf cutting, I'll make hash with the pollinator, and the trimming of the small leaves, I'll save for times of war and scarcity (summer🙄😅😂😂).
