MontanaManMedical Nearly 3 weeks in and she’s starting to straighten out. I haven’t grown this strain in years, so I’m curious how much better this run will be.

MontanaManMedical The plant is really beginning to take off. The leaves in general look stronger than they did last week. I’ll be increasing the nutrients starting next week. It’s starting out very promising.

MontanaManMedical The plant is now a foot tall! I’ll be moving it into the flowering tent on Thursday, but will keep the light at 16/8 until next week. With how much this strain can stretch, I don’t want to take the chance that it gets too big.

MontanaManMedical I moved the plants (she’s being grown alongside Girl Scout Crack) into the flowering tent on Saturday instead of Thursday. She’s already at 18 inches. AFAIK there are 4 phenos with this strain. 2 are 9 - 10 weeks, the other 2 are 11 - 12 weeks. I’m curious which one I’ll get.

MontanaManMedical She’s already 30 inches tall! Really amazing stretch so far. There’s a little bit of nute burn from last weeks feeding, but nothing too bad. It happened worse with my Girl Scout Crack that’s right next to it. I’m glad I have 2 nets. We’ll see where she is next week. Things are happening fast.

MontanaManMedical She’s still stretching! The nets have allowed me to handle her growth. The side branches are beginning to find their way through the net, so I shouldn’t have to do anything else to support them. I’m curious how much longer she will stretch.

MontanaManMedical She’s STILL stretching! Even the lowest branches are peeking through the 2nd net. Nutrient levels seem to be within range despite the stretch. It looks like the N level is enough. Saturday will mark 4 weeks since the switch to 12/12, so I imagine the stretch is almost finished. I pinched the tops of some of the branches to help slow them down. You can see the Girl Scout Crack she shares the tent with. No way to hide it. That plant looks healthy as well.

MontanaManMedical The stretch continued past Saturday, meaning the plant stretched for over 4 weeks. Simply amazing. There was a slight Nitrogen deficiency that I fixed. I tested my tap water and it went from 500-550 ppm to now being 100 ppm, which means I need to supplement with Cal-Mag. Thankfully I had some on hand. That seems to have done the trick, but I’ll be watching the plant’s leaves to see if the amount I’ve added is enough. I think the lack of minerals in the water caused part of the symptoms I saw. The plant is starting to swell up as the stretch finishes. It’s looking very promising, and I look forward to the next roughly 8 weeks before it’s ready.
