Hi,Congratulations on the results you’ve achieved with your plants — they are truly beautiful! I too used to leave the plants in the dark for one or two days before harvesting, but then I discovered the lessons of Dr. Bugbee, a botany professor at the University of Utah who works with NASA. His studies have shown that leaving plants in the dark before harvesting is a myth. The positive effect, when it occurs, is actually due to the drop in temperature, not the darkness. This is because, toward the end of the flowering period, it’s important for the temperature to be lower. Dr. Bugbee and his students demonstrated that the plant continues to use light until the very last available moment to grow and enrich itself. When I discovered this, I found it to be an enlightening truth, and I’m sharing it with you simply for the joy of knowledge.
