Growth is nominal, with all 5 seedlings developing in step with one another. therealgrowmie Growth has been very strong over the last seven days. The plants are now at 4 nodes, and since they’re all autos, they’re already about halfway through their vegetative stage. therealgrowmie What’s up, Growmie! 🌱🔥 Since it was getting crowded in the grow space, I defoliated for better ventilation and lighting. I kept it conservative — not more than 10% of the leaf mass. While at it, I kept an eye on future bud sites and rerouted a few twigs with some LST using bonsai wire. therealgrowmie Flowers are on! 🌸🔥 Flowers are clearly visible now, with one of the plants already showing a strong purple colour — very curious to see how this develops! 💜 However, the top-right plant is looking a bit limey, so I’ve ramped up the nutrients while keeping an eye on the runoff. It’s also showing tiny spots of calcium deficiency, so I suspect it might be a root issue. These deficiencies are minor, though — overall, the plants are still going strong. therealgrowmie The plants are demanding way more nutrients at this stage - and unfortunately, they’re almost outgrowing the grow space 😅. We’re seeing medium-level deficiencies across the board and some mild heat stress (tacoing leaves). To fix this, we’ll start adding fertiliser with every watering for the next 4–5 rounds and see how the new growth looks. therealgrowmie A few things that needed attention 🌱💡 There’s some light burn and bleaching on the upper leaves, which also caused minor deficiencies. I’ll keep an eye on it, but aside from providing plenty of nutrients, I’m not planning to make any major changes. I can’t raise the lamp any higher — it’s already at the top of the tent — and I’m not lowering the light intensity below 700 PPFD at the centre, since that would drop the levels too much in the corners of the grow space. So, we’ll keep pushing! 💪 The leaves below the canopy are still very healthy, so I’m not too worried. I’ll continue feeding nutrients with every watering, as the new growth (especially the sugar leaves) looks fine. However, one of the Purple Lemonade plants looks pretty fried, even though it’s been treated the same as the others. therealgrowmie We’re pretty much back on track — except for that one plant. It’s still a bit fried, but it’s stacking some nice buds, so I’m not too worried. 😉 I’ve drastically increased the amount of fertiliser and have been using organic feed with every watering. Most of the leaves below the canopy are back to a strong green, with only minor signs of deficiency that aren’t spreading. Feeling pretty happy so far! therealgrowmie The generous use of fertiliser in the last few weeks has done wonders for these plants. 🌱🔥 We’re now entering a stage where I’m quite happy for them to start using up the nutrients stored in their remaining leaves. I won’t stop adding fertiliser just yet, but I’ll reduce it to once a week. Since they’ve already progressed quite far, I’m not too worried about signs of deficiencies at this stage — it’s all part of the natural fade. therealgrowmie Ladies and Gentlemen — we’re closing in on the harvest window! 🌿✨ This run has been particularly fast, as we’re only at day 70. The plants are nicely stacked, and I’ll let them ripen right up to the last minute to hit around 20% amber trichomes — aiming for those dense, sticky nugs. 💪 By the way, the smell is amazing. therealgrowmie Almost there- chop day for the rainbow forest! 🌈✂️ After 77 days, the plants have reached that perfect 10% amber / 90% milky trichome ratio I was aiming for. Even though they’re three different genetics, they all hit the sweet spot around the same time. I’ll be back soon after the great chop chop with a full dry and smoke report. therealgrowmie The three Purple Lemonades are coming down — and wow, what a show they put on. Colours popping, buds stacked, and the smell? Lemony. From seed to harvest, these ladies performed. Now it’s time to hang them, dry them, and enjoy the rainbow we grew ourselves. 🌈🌿
