Hello everyone, its me again...
Well, I wasn't planning to do any clones yet, but the branches broke off my plants and other than getting rid of them I decided to try cloning for my first time.
Im using the cloning gel I received in the Technaflora Recepie for Success kit, it was already premixed inside the jar, so I dipped and coated the branches with a nice thick coat, Im using some good fertilized dirt in the bottom of the pot and some seed starting mix on the top, I soaked the dirt till all the excess water came out then I planted the clones.
3 of these are clones and 2 are seedlings, the clones started looking sad so I trimmed all the sad leaves of them and left the new growth to grow. All 6 of these will end up in my outside grow this year.
So wish me luck guys βοΈβοΈβοΈ
Those wide shallow-ish pots look ideal to me (I used shitty typical deep but narrow pots first time), but keep on adding soil or something to it as it grows, fill it proper, it helps hey.
I'm thinking you'll do fine though. GL!
Those girls are beautiful and HUGE!
You can keep the plants in VEG longer by supplamenting their light artificially with a light.
It doesn't necessarily have to be bright, just make sure it gets most of you plants to wake them up.
I have my light come on @ 2am and shut off @ 545am because the sun is up @ 550am where I live.
Some people like to briefly wake the plants with a short burst of light to disrupt their sleep cycle (like 10min opposed to 3 + hours like i do) but i figured this would annoy my plants. My babies have long days that start @ 2am and go until sunset.
I love watching my babies go to sleep and wake up.
Looking good ... Just got done harvesting a Northern Lights Auto & a AK-49 Auto myself. I wish you the same success.Good luck with the rest of your grow
