NastyNatesJungle After a bit of a break, Divine Seeds Auto contest brought me back into the fold. I really enjoyed growing the Opium photos so there's high hopes for these seeds!
Placed seed in sealed jar with water and set on a warming pad. Taproot was visible after a 48 hour soak. Soaked a peat pellet in water with 1mg/L of calmag and placed seed root side down into a small hole (1cm deep) in pellet. Placed pellet inside sealed box and placed on top seedling mat.
Until next week.

NastyNatesJungle Time to start week 1! 7 day after placing the seed in water, the little sprout was big enough to put into some substrate. Removed netting from outside of peat pellet and placed into a 1 liter yogurt container filled with BioBizz reclaimed substrate - old substrate from previous grow plus 5% pre-mix (left for 2 weeks to mix). Covered with glass jar for the first half of the week until the second set of real leaves started to show. Day 5 uncovered seedling. Here we go!

NastyNatesJungle Decent growth for week 2! Day time temp around 23C average, lightly watered every two days, 100ml - 200ml or so. Shot for a Daily Light Interval (DLI) of 20, 20" from top plant to light. Since soil was recharged with bio bizz dry pre-mix, laying off nutrients to not over do it. See you next week, hommie.
