Urunascar They were about to kill these plants, so I gave them another chance. They had been in that starter pot for 3 weeks and weren't progressing (in my opinion, due to lack of watering). So I started with daily watering, first without food in the solution because their EC was very high. By the end of the first week at home, I was already feeding them 1ml per liter and 700ms EC (half of what Canna recommends), and they already looked different since they arrived.

Urunascar They're much better now, I kept feeding them the same way and every 24 hours without fail. I did some pruning and gave them a bit of stress, quite unnecessary to be honest.

Urunascar I finished the week by transplanting into a 3-liter pot and watering at 1200ms EC (about 600ppm), always draining 20% of the water that goes in. Here, I integrated Biochar into the substrate mix at 30%.

Urunascar I tried to give a bigger dryback after the transplant, but the plants didn't have enough food in the watering, so they started showing potassium deficiency (that's why the closed stomata, yellow leaves, and the appearance of overwatering).

Urunascar Just today I was able to order the final lights (I was using some temporary AC Infinity bars) and they're going to take a while to arrive, so I took a lot of clones (I overdid it, but I know not many are going to survive).

Urunascar I had to move the plants a week later, and since they didn't fit where they were supposed to go, I bent all the branches with some wires that I later had to remove because they were choking the stems. It was fun, although an unnecessary stress again.

Urunascar I played around a lot with the wires and gave them some really fun shapes that I'm going to remove later for production reasons 😂. I've never had such healthy leaves on my plants, and all I do is water every 24 hours and make sure to have a 20% runoff. The pH of the runoff is at 7.2, but I don't pay much attention to it; it’s probably due to the amount of biochar I used.

Urunascar The light still hasn't arrived (and neither has the tent) so I can't do anything but wait and keep them short so they don't get out of control.

Urunascar Another week waiting for the lights, I'm still feeding them the same, once a week I give them foliar with homemade KNF nutrients.

Urunascar The tent, the lights, and with them the first week of flowering have arrived. Weekly foliar feeding of KNF nutrients with: FPJ, FFJ, FAA, BRV, WSCA. I tried to give them a dryback at 50% (generative) but they were eating at a faster rate than I was replenishing the nutrients, the runoff EC was well below the input, so by the end of the week I went back to watering every 24 hours.

Urunascar Second week of flowering, I'm still giving weekly foliar KNF, watering with an input EC of 1500EC and trying to keep the medium there, raising it to 1700 by the end of the week.

Urunascar I started implementing a precision watering strategy, I accumulated EC in the substrate until reaching 3000ms in the runoff, I'm going to try to keep it there for a few days to see how the plants react, for now it seems like they are even asking for more food. I did some defoliation and arranged the branches in the net, and almost the entire surface is covered. The light in the middle reaches 1100PPFD and on the more distant sides about 700PPFD.

Urunascar Finishing the stretching, the spaces where flowers were missing are filling up, I hope the air circulation is sufficient. I'm watering 2 to 3 times a day depending on how much I'm home to tend to them, I always water to at least 20% runoff (20% of the input). One day I skipped the afternoon watering and reached a 50% dryback (generative), the plants didn't like it at all and immediately showed signs of excess salinity. They've returned to normal, and by the end of this week, I lowered the input EC to 1600EC.
