Firstautos 23/9 today and im starting to ponder am I closing in on harvest time?.. I've gotten this beauty to this point she smells amazing looks divine but I didn't think I'd get this far so haven't exactly been thinking about harvest any good do's and don't at this stage are very very welcome :)
60% humidity is fine if you have good extraction and airflow within tent. They look great. After lights out was always a prob for me as humidity rose to 80% + I resorted to hanging a heated seed mat inside the tent at night which helped somewhat. Minimal watering helps too. Good luck dude.
Its worth referencing a table like the one below in terms of temps and humidity to see how the influence of both impacts your plants transpiration.
https://vpd.aroya.io/
I use a temp gun left over from covid to take leaf temp. If your girls are in the purple or the blue urgent action must be taken. Otherwise, you can tweak your temps to offset humidity and bring your VPD nearer to where if needs to be. This chart has helped me understand a lot concerning my tent environment and helps me keep it in the sweet spot. 😬 For instance right now my leaf temp is 26.5 my air temp is 28 and mu humidity is 63 which puts my VPD at 1.1 For the stage my girls are in optimally it should be nearer 1.4. but 1.1 is healthy enough for now. As the humidity drops the VPD will increase which is why I always water my girls 1/4 litre each plant first thing in the morning. By early evening the VPD will rise to 1.4 until lights out. Hope this helps.
@Enochian, thanks so much this will help alot.. this is my first ever grow and as a newbie the technical end of it is still a bit tricky it's cool to watch grow fast enough
