Aight folks this is a strain I've had my eye on for a while bred by some local fellas Mass Medical Strains knows for their star pupil... star pupil the purple goddess. The cross is plantmoreseeds prayer tower 2 x star pupil. It's a 75% sativa tests on average 33% thc. If you havnt heard of these guys check em out they have top shelf genetics and they dont charge up the ass and hooked it up with some serious freebies. This is why I do love hippies. No strict timetable with these or anything just hoping to find a keeper and the genetics are too good not to track the grow
Moved them to the basement has higher humidity they started doing much better and are drying out the coco more quickly. Dont know if I'll go to 1 gal or 3 gal pots to flower them out yet.
Got them transplanted to 3 gal bags today they were dying to get out of the little bags. Had a little calmag def. I tried using an organic calmag off Amazon it was cheap and showed but I grabbed the calimagic back usually does the job. Will put these in flower as soon as possible and either take cuts or go for a reveg but probly cuts cuz I can usually get a little more out of it the second run knowing how it responds to certain things a bit better✌️🙏
The bigger one I topped early in the week and is doing great the smaller one I topped later in the week and is still recovering I removed alot of fan leaves shes thick.
I've been tryin to upload a video for like 4 hours but it wont load the mothafucka. I flipped these, the picture is right after 36 hrs of darkness taken today 6.9.19 which is day 1 of flower.
Update: took some pics on day 6, I had a broken ph meter so I was flying blind and first feed after getting the replacement the run off ph was up to 6.6 on some plants so I had to flush em all out and start clean. Less than an hour after I would put a plant back in the tent it would show significant improvement.Public Service Announcement from myself and advice for any beginners out there experimenting in coco or even DWC.. Dont be cheap when buying a meter, stay off Amazon unless it's a blue lab or a hannah and it's over $70. I get DMs on the reg from companies willing to send me a cheap product from China for a 5 star review on Amazon, the reviews are manipulated and seemingly more so in the gardening/horticulture department. Go to a hydro shop or go to hannah instruments or bluelabs official site and order one with plenty of calibration solution preferable a 3 in one tds/ph/temp . It will prob cost $200 but save u in the long run. ✌️
The first one is still a little weird its stocky and stiff the 2nd one is lookin good. my ph meter broke and Hannah Instruments sent me a new probe. When I got it and checked run off everything was fucked up so I did a heavy flush on everything and a feed. Found some shit called Gnatrol on Ebay for the fungus gnats larvae added to the mixidk if it will work tho. Pictures were taken on Day 7 of Bloom
Just started them all on the Green Buzz Liquid Organics and will run it the rest of the way. I'm not going to add much to the line just some calmag, enzymes maybe terpinator I have to experiment with it a little bit. The first feed went extremely well the plants instantly reacted within an hour after the feed especially the next day. The additives in this line barely raised PPM at all which I liked. It also doesnt stink like other liquid organics I've used.
These 2 seem a little slower coming along than the others. I had to do a little defoliation to open up some space but other than that not much to update. Have had some high humidity the past couple days.
Hey guys I am a day late on the update cuz I went away for the weekend to a buddy's bachelor party and ended up with a broken clavicle in two places and need surgery tomorrow. I dont know how I'm gunna keep things rollin here but I'll figure it out. Anyways I couldn't get the plants out of the tent tonight but when I have some help tmm I'll try and get some better individual pics. I fed them before I left Friday at 1110 ppm with the green buzz and got a little burn, which is a good thing because that kinda shows me that less is more with this line and may save you a few bucks over time. It's also nice that there isnt 11 different bottles to pour from so far I couldn't be more impressed with GBL. The planta were all pretty bone dry today but look better than ever. Pics were taken at day 29 this week, temps have been around 73°F and 58% RH. This tent is in a basement so even with the dehumidifier the rh is pretty high especially with the lights out but the plants seem to enjoy it and I have plenty of air circulating.
These 2 are doing fine, not as developed as most of them but it is sativa dominant. I'll try and get some individual pics outside the tent tmm.
Edit: I fucked somethin up here in the video I put day 29 bloom, these were flipped on june 9th and got 36 hr dark period, I uploaded the video last monday so it was actually on day 22 flower not day 29 but it's a little late to edit the video so ignore that day and I'll make a new one tonight which is actually day 28
Ok folks, gunna be one armed for another 6 weeks so I'm just the conductor the true heroes will go unseen. Everything is alive atleast, had a scare yesterday as things got so dried out everything went limp but an hour after feed turned back around. Noticed some yellowing and other coloring coming thru on alot of leaves so I bumped ppm up a little bit this last feed. They dont look like they have a deficiency, it's weird, they look beautiful but with a premature fade almost. I really like Green Buzz' line up/regiment I just have to dial it in which isnt easy since it's a multi strain crop and various size plants. It's very easy to use and makes me feel good knowing it's not poison. Did a minor leaf strip around the tent just to make things fit better. I'll copy and paste this to the diaries for the rest of the crop per usual but go into a little more detail on each plant individually. Pics and vids were taken on day 28 of flower. I'm trying to keep up with these as best I can from start to finish, the flip date was 6.10.19, today is 7.9.19.
Not much to report on these ones, they are growing pretty straight forward and doing very well. They have a great bud structure and #2 looks like it might have some fatties. Cant pick up the scent yet but the frost is comin.
My girl took all the pics, I took the vids and she took pics of me takin the vids and it gives a better indication of the size of the plants/tent. I'm 6'1 165 soakin wet for reference
Pics taken on day 36. Some, if not most of these are lightly seeded, I've checked for herms but cant find no nuts. Sucks but from what I've read and people I've talked to seems like it wont be too big of a deal in the end, some old school growers even prefer lightly seeded nugget, I've never tried it intentionally. The green buzz nutes are working well. I'm almost out of the more PK so I had to add herculean harvest liquid bonemeal to get the ppm where i want it while trying to conserve the Gbl to last the rest of the run. Didnt have the lady to take my pics today so I was limited and had to take them lefty one handed and was shakey af.
#1 is a little weird and compact but looks like it has potential to fill in pretty good.
#2 is exactly what I was looking for. Showing some purple tint and the nugs are perfect nice and chunky. I like they way shes put together.
Day 42, everything is chuggin along pretty healthy. Definitely some seeds in most of them which bugs me. The whole tent reeks tho which is nice. Some of the citradellics look like they are gettin pretty close so I'll start keeping an eye on them. I had to take the pics again and was strugglin so they arent my best. I have to go thru them still so I got the video up and tmm or as soon as possible I'll get the still shots up✌️
They both are just fattening up day after day and dont seem like they plan to stop anytime soon. They're covered in overly stocky Terps, feels like gorilla tape level of sticky. 2 is the keeper at this point, I'm not sure if theres somethin off in #1 coco I havnt been able to test run off but just feels like its growing a little slower and awkward.
Everything is still alive thankfully and smells fuckin tremendous. The pictures were taken on day 49 or 50. I'll probly start flushing some of them over the next week the citradellic are lookin close. They kinda all look close even tho I expected some 70 dayers with the mostly sativa crosses but I gotta get in there and check the trichs.
I still have to go thru all the photos but wanted to get the video up for all of them first. If your interested in the pics come back at the end of today and they will be up it just takes a while. Noticing more seeds poppin thru, I hope it's from the moonshine cookies pollen cuz the female turned out bomb and the male wasnt too bad either so they might be decent seeds. Started the flush on the citradellic and the other ones might have got their last feed yesterday. Should be finishing up next week and the week after.
These are interesting growing plants. I took cuts but the one I like disappeared somehow or got its name tag mixed up I'm not sure but I'm kinda pissed about it. I honestly cant describe the smell it just smells like dank bud. The pistils are so dark but the lowers look like the could fill in a little more so I gave it one more feed yesterday and I think I'll start the flush on all of them when they dry out.
Everything's in flush mode, didnt take any pics this week we had alot of work to do with the flush and harvest of the big citradellic and everything is so close to the chop I figured I would just wait until the day of to get the final pics. The video is from Tuesday which is when the harvest happened. The fades are coming in hot and the aromas are heavy filling the tent. Over the next week they will be coming down and will do another update.
Fuckin finally the last ones are down and the tents empty. These 2 are close to my favorite cuz of the fat buds and purple tint they both have. They smell glorious too idk like what tho. The 2nd one is the best the 1st is solid but feel like I coulda done better with her. I'll update the harvest after they're in jars.
Was a decent grow considering I had one arm for most of it. These came out aight good smoke and bag appeal the smell left a little on the table. The buds are solid and fat as a mf which was good. Definitely solid strain.
