Taken out of propagator.
Light spray with cannacure.
EC 0.6.
My grow setup is low end budget. I made my own SAFE makeshift loft grow shack.
This is my 2nd grow.
The last photos are from my first grow. I just added so comparisons can be made etc.
Week four. 16/03
Sprayed with cannacure.
EC 1.6
At the end of week 4
I flushed out plants using just PH balanced water ( just for the day )
The next day I emptied the reservoirs and scrubbed out all equipment then added great white bennies and required nutrients.
Changed lights to 12/12 👊🏼😀👍🏻
Week nine. 20/04.
Sprayed with cannacure.
EC 2.4.
Washed down floor, walls.and wiped all equipment.
Kosher kush ( which i thought was auto is not auto, I checked with seed bank Reserva Privada. No kosher kush autos.

My question... week 5 has just completed. Am I looking okay? Am I roughly in the right region? The 2 plants on the very right started off much slower from seedling.
hey there,looking good so far but you can go with the ph a bit lower to 5.5-5.6 ,you can even leave out N during late flower and pump PK in them,you will get fatter buds for sure ,anyways they ussualy get fat in the last weeks of life,you can be amazed on how much weight they gain in the last two weeks 💪 happy growing and welcome to growdiaries!

Wedding Cake buds are getting quite frosty,
dense and very sticky. A lovely aroma.
Kosher Kush buds are starting to fill out. Seriously sticky and quite stinky ( in a very good way)
The grow area may look dark in the photos... but I'm taking the photos from behind my LED sunglasses, in order to lose the LED blurple colour.

30th April. On good advise from Bulbi, I have staked some of the buds to face up rather than slope. Many thanks Bulbi 😎👊🏼.
I also added 2 x 150w side lights.
1 May. Buds are starting to fill in nicely. They aren't going to be fat.. but are very dense.
Week 11 4th May.
Enter 7th week flowering.
Sprayed all with cannacure.. I like this product 👍🏼. Inside the grow shack it smells pretty good. Looks okay. I realise that I wont harvest as much as I forecast, as buds are not big. ( 4" ) However I have my fall back buds ( secondary buds ) which are not too awful. Buds are very dense on the wedding cakes. The kosher kush is filling in lovely. Several factors why the buds are not big... Newbie errors, which I have learnt about in this grow and my setup is different to my first grow. I also need to spend some money and get the place insulated and maybe reflective? And learn about terpines etc. Different nutes. Maybe organic route?
I also defoliated a tad on the heavy side and kept shifting my lights... interfered with node spacing. I also did not vertical stake ( now done )
My 2 late lambs are due to cotyledons being stuck. I didnt even think to try help them.
I have learnt about all those errors now.

Talking of kindness, I travelled 35 minutes to a grow shop late this afternoon. Urgently needed PH. Used up last this morning. So... I get to shop and over to the till... PH down in my hand. I feel for my wallet. Nope! 😳. The guy who owns the shop said no problem ... just pay him next time I go in.
So.... how do I feel .... I guess somewhat disappointed. Definitely not despondent. I am also very pleased that if all continues okay.... then I will definitely be completing my 2nd and reaping me some tasty buds. I have been smoking some of the kosher kush this week.... wow...nice sedative for me.

I added several more photos to this weeks diary. Not sure if the close ups of trichs are any good? Was uber difficult taking. Holding loupe in one hand the phone in the other. Especially with my hands ( some nerve damage from spinal cord injury-🏉 )
I'm hoping you gr🎱 folk can tell me roughly how close I am. Flushing will only take 2 days. First day just PH balanced and the next day using flawless finish. ( I think I got that right)

8th week flowering
Cannacure sprayed all.
I am having to go away in 2 weeks time and will be away for a week. Right when I wanted to take these plants up to.
Lucky for me, 4 are ready for cropping. I have checked trichomes to amber % I wanted.
I have 2 x 4 pot wilma drip systems for flowering. So I grouped the ready 4.
Washed out resevoir, added fresh water ran twice through. Changed water again and repeated the process. Again I changed water but this time added a flush agent. Called Flawless Finish by Advanced Nutrients. 2ml per litre.
So those 4 wont be getting any more nutes. And I most prob cut them down next Saturday.
As for the other 4... trichs are mostly milky. So that's telling me maybe a week to go.
If not , then i think I'm a bit stuck 🙄
I'm glad that this grow is nearly over. Ever since finding out that I was going away, I thought my grow doomed. ⚡👿⚡
Although not entirely awful... I been eyeing up a few nice nuggets 🤩.

So my 2nd grow has ended. Bring on my 3rd.
Kosher Kush harvested 1st.
A lovely rich earthy fragrance mixed with citrus...
Pleasure to smoke... smooth, woody. But then I did flush with a great product called Flawless Finish. The Kosher Kush has a unique taste... earthy, wooden. After flushing, the KK was trimmed to a point, then was dry hung. The KK is destined for the pot, so taste nor smell required. The KK will be turned into either resin oil or coco oil. Buds are still sticky.
I think its definitely suitable for evening mellowing. Or those needing a bit of help to fall asleep.
Was easy to grow. No nonsense. And it topped itself. Smart seed. At one stage I thought it was an auto. As it responded so fast to changing lights 12/12.
A couple of weeks prior to harvesting I did hack a bit away. ( stock was out 🤔🙄 )
The KK was the odd one out and shared space with 7 Wedding Cakes. Total top lighting for the 8 plants was 1040w. So I have divided the lighting by 8.
Again it asks grow space. My shack is a fair size. I have only taken the actual canopy size which I'm sure is the right way to measure.
I believe I could have achieved a better yield had I got a grip on my nutrients. Looking back at the last weeks photos... I notice leaf curl. Lesson learnt. 🙄
The Kosher Kush was a strong easy plant to grow. Didn't flip out when hacked or defoliated. Very quick to respond to 12/12 cycle. Buds put on weight, but as I locked the plants up a bit with "over nuting" I missed out on a good couple of weeks of fat flowering. Lesson learnt 🙄✌️🏼

Great for anytime of the day. Helps me relax, as I can be a bit strung, but at the same time I'm also more focused. I get deep into some of my CGI work. Heck... hope that made sense.
I tested out 2 ways to cure. Wet and Dry. One loses quite a lot of smell and a bit of the taste.
My friends all give thumbs up to the hang with leaves then dry trim. As this is the most pungent in smell and taste. Not to say the resiny buds from the wet trim are no good. The dry trim was in my opinion a lot quicker to do. A lot of the leaves just fell off.
Taste wise ....
I flushed with a great product called Flawless Finish, I can only say a rich, but strong taste. Great for my Storm Vaporizer or a Philly Blunt.
Regards wattage lights.. top lights total 910 after subtracting the light which fed the Kosher Kush. As total wattage 1040 less KK wattage. .. wow I hope that all made sense too. I think less wedding cake for me tonight. 😉
I found Wedding Cake to be a fabulous plant to grow. The Seed Bank Sensible Seeds produced great seeds... just need to work on a great gardner. 🙄.

I started flushing 4 plants incl 1 Kosher Kush. 3 days later I decided to flush the remaining 4 Wedding Cakes early. All were flushed in darkness... apparently plant gives a last gasp and could increase resin. With nothing to lose I tried it. Not sure it worked though... as the Wedding Cake was very sticky anyway.
I failed on the target I had set myself. And this through my own neglect. 🙄🔫. Looking through my last few weeks of my diary I noticed the leaves curling... I believe this now to be nute lockout. Too much nuting. My EC was way to high at times EC 2.6 to 2.8.
So... yes... lesson learnt.

Dude, my plants scare me...in their little "habitat", on a nice cool 23c max sunday afternoon, with clouds around, in GT, 2:30pm. The plants are only a meter or so away...

No... it smells really great. The buds are a bit small, but very dense. 4 plants are about a week or longer behind... suspect due to cotyledons getting stuck.

So, I'm gonna smoke some of my record-sized datura with some random weed now. Maybe Kali knows what to do. Kama Kama Chameleon. That's one of her Sutras. Yuga dat rite.
Currently I'm growing a mix of about 130+ plants (some harvested and revegging, some offspring from that, some random autoflowers, some random other seeds and some random other older seeds) at the start of winter. I'm guessing that won't end well.

My equipment is of low budget. But not the lowest. It seems to be working good for me. I used some of my first crop to buy and trade for more stuff. I have an 8 pot resevoir and 2 LEDs ( true wattage 520w ) recently purchased. They will be used for grow phase in the future.

Yeah I don't know much about the stuff which is why I asked. Thanks for the info. I consider terpenes good medicine too, as well as some of the other cannabinoids, but hey, different strokes.
@@@Ssomeguy, Well with low heat pressed rosin you will lose some other cannabinoid's in the process but the main thing you want to extract is the THC, if you are going to eat it you will have to activate the Cannabinoid's anyways. I just gave my friend some options to extract good medicine. With a untouched flower you have terps and cannabinoid compounds (like indoor vs. outdoor). I don't see high grade kief for medicine to often and to me smoking extractions two times a week on those real hatd days is the best but maybe just me idk. Ice water extraction is basically water made kief if you extract out of dry flowers or trim. Cheers.

Can you tell me about the composition of nice flower vs rosin? Like, what do you lose when you do that (since invariably you lose something).
I can't say I'm familiar with that stuff, but to me, just simple kief seems like best bet (in a general sense, but I'm cheap) after nice flower. I mean, you can't go from rosin to flower, shit's lost.

@Puffer_Bill, That is the problem with loft grows, the slanting roof!!! It does lose you a lot of height. The bloody seagulls 😂😂😂. First they steal our chips and now they’re trying to get baked for free too 😂😂😂

Brilliant...seagulls nesting above in winter. Definitely not stealthy although I did realise this could possibly happen. Fingers 🤞🏼 it didn't.
The roll has now been ordered along with magnetic strips with sticky backs and a couple of metres of sticky back velcro. I also have some excellent tape. Illbruck ME315. Total Protection Tape. I did have a loft tent. I killed it 🔩🔫 But did make use of some bits. What I have now I call my grow shack it is insulated as in no one can smell anything. Asides to the roof...but only seagulls... if any...I only start to get a faint whiff when I open the loft hatch from there I go into a makeshift grow shack door. Then its quite stinky. The carbon filter works great and two fans sucking in fresh sir. Also fresh air coming from above. However 🚁🚁 are a concern, as are the 🕊️🕊️🕊️. So my plan is to fully wrap my grow shack sides and tops. The floor is insulated and covered with lino type material. All my lights totaling just over 1300w are all LEDs. The problem with the tent is the shape of the eves. I had to shorten my tents poles and lost height, was difficult to fit correctly. Then I figured if I hang my lights from joists then I gain height. So no tent poles etc taking up space. My grow shack is great it let's me get up close to my plants. My tent was 4 plants. My grow shack I'm growing 8 and there is potential for more. But I'm happy with just 🎱.
