Just like my other caramels she got emormousely tall and i had to tie her down which ended up giving her two massive stocks. Great smoke and a strong plant.

She's looking to have bounced back very nicely buddy. Great work training her out. She's gonna be a lovely bush once you get done with her. Keep up the great work and happy growing :D

No, yellow leaves are not normal. A good clone will be a vibrant green. It will look fresh but won't show growth for a day or two. Usually by the 3rd day I see new growth in the leaves starting. At that point I know the roots are developing. I use Rapid Rooters and slice them down the side, that way if I think there is a problem I can carefully open the medium and see if there is new root growth. Don't over think it. Cloning is actually very easy and saves a week or two of growing time.

@OleTimer, i check one and it has some roots forming. how do i stop the yellowing?
BigDaddyK
BigDaddyKcommentedweek 37 years ago
Roots - you might have burnt them
BigDaddyK
BigDaddyKcommented7 years ago
@MarijuanaEngineer,it won't hurt it , it will get fatter 👍

@BigDaddyK, You could be right, I feel like i should take my cutlings from the caramel 2&3 since they look shitty anyways. Caramel 1 is so nice i dont wanna hurt it haha.
BigDaddyK
BigDaddyKcommented7 years ago
@MarijuanaEngineer,not yet , but poor growth early is due to bad roots , maybe something ate them who knows but I'll bet if it was pulled up the root would be faulty 🌱

These look like they might need some support before you are finished.

@OleTimer, Im actually tying her down haha thats why she is sideways. I am starting the flush now, do u think its time?
OleTimer
OleTimercommentedweek 147 years ago
How long will you flush? It looks like maybe 2 weeks left...would need to see trichomes though to be absolutely sure. Strain data says 8 to 9 weeks of flower.
MarijuanaEngineer
MarijuanaEngineercommented7 years ago
@OleTimer, i was planning a 2 week flush starting now. But i am unsure if they are ready. If they have a 9 week cycle am i supposed to wait 9 weeks before my flush or do i flush at week 7 to week 9?
OleTimer
OleTimercommentedweek 147 years ago
If a 2 week flush, then start the flush 2 weeks prior to the published data. So week 7 in this case. Which fits well with the images I am seeing.

Are her leaves as sticky as they look?
MarijuanaEngineer
MarijuanaEngineercommented7 years ago
@OleTimer, super sticky and the buds smelllllll. What does it mean if the leaves are stickyer than others?
OleTimer
OleTimercommentedweek 107 years ago
A bit top heavy I see :)

@OleTimer, Completely out grew my tent haha. Had no choice but to tie her main colas down. 7 weeks from a very large harvest!

Are the leaves soft or dry? If dry too much light. If soft too much water. What is the humidity in your tent? The clones should be small enough to be far enough away from the light with your bigger potted plants in there. If they can be 36 inches from the light they would be good and not burn. A clone needs to be in a moist environment, but not saturated, the new roots have to breath. The plastic over the ice chest was over kill in 2 ways, too moist and the light intensity through the plastic is like a magnifying glass. Remove the plastic, place a cup or two of water in with the clones. Do not use a fan, for light just put them near a window :)

@OleTimer, Thanks you for this! For the leaves turning yellow.. is that normal?
OleTimer
OleTimercommentedweek 57 years ago
http://www.growweedeasy.com/cloning-marijuana-guide Has good pics and videos to follow. They say the cutting should be 5 to 6 inches, ignore that, as long as there are 3 nodes you're good. I have cloned for over 30 years and have over a 99% success rate. Have only lost 2 clones :). Keeping the work area sterile and working fast are the best tips for cloning.
MarijuanaEngineer
MarijuanaEngineercommented7 years ago
@OleTimer, I have clones right now. I do not have a real humidity dome, so i put plastic over an ice chest with two 23watt cfl's and it killed 3 of my clones. So now i took the plastic off, they're just in the ice chest with 1 cfl and i mist 4 tyms a day. The leaves are turning yellow, what do i do from here? will they eat themselfs tell they die? or will they turn yellow and grow roots?
OleTimer
OleTimercommentedweek 117 years ago
Save the leaves and do an extract with them! Keep them in a dark place until plant is harvested and then find a simple extract recipe for "Green Dragon" online. Add another experiment for you :) Lots of resin on that plant.

OleTimercommentedweek 57 years ago
Less water if they are a limp yellow. Less intense light if they are a dry yellow.
Blablabla
Blablablacommentedweek 27 years ago
They are small and vegging, so I advise you to up your humidity to around 70%. That will help with faster growth. Also I don't see you have perlite in pots, this would help with better drainage and faster root growth.

10 ml a litre seems a lot
MarijuanaEngineer
MarijuanaEngineercommented7 years ago
@BigDaddyK, I was not worried because big bloom is organic, and my other plants took the nutes well. But this one did not respond well to light stress in the beginning.

Only 2oz from 600w? Should be getting at least 10. Looks like nice bud though :-)

When i take clones i take it from the potential shoots right? not just a branch with a leaf on it? Pls give me some tips on cloning, first timer haha
