ElNass Season 2 continues with White Russian by Serious Seeds βοΈ.
Same 113 L living soil ecosystem, fully regenerated from Season 1 stronger roots, richer microbiome, and precision SCROG training.
White Russian βοΈ started her story more slowly π’. Next to her Bubblegum sister she seemed to lag behind, but her first leaves π were healthy, a soft shade of green π. She too only received declorinated water π§ during her first days, letting her roots settle into the living soil.

ElNass This week she also tasted her first enzyme tea, about 0.3 L. The reaction was clear: her central leaves opened wider π± and looked stronger. Sheβs still smaller than Bubblegum π vs π, but her dark green color π³ and compact shape show perfect health. No topping for now ββοΈ she still needs a couple more nodes. In the meantime, I may start some gentle LST ποΈ to help her spread out and stimulate lateral growth.

ElNass The White Russian may be more subtle, but sheβs starting to show her true potential this week.
After the topping, sheβs begun spreading out nicely helped by the LST and SCROG training, opening up her structure for even light and airflow
She got the same two-step treatment as her sister: first the enzyme tea with sprouted lentils to wake up the soil and root zone, then the worm tea to nourish the microbial life and feed her deep.
The effect is clear balanced growth, lush green color, and a strong, active root system.
With the second LED added (now 400W total), light penetration and uniformity improved a lot.
Conditions are stable at 26Β°C and 65% humidity, creating a perfect microclimate for lush vegetative growth.
Sheβs no longer the shy one the White Russian is stretching confidently, ready to take her place on the net with power and grace. βοΈπ₯
Sheβs growing slow, steadyβ¦ and strong. πΏ

ElNass This week was all about fine-tuning the structure: some light training and careful canopy management under the SCROG net.
I spread the tops evenly to fill the remaining gaps, creating a flat and balanced canopy.
The net is now nearly full, and the White Russian is looking ready to shine π₯
The plants are showing deep green leaves and steady growth, no stress, just pure vitality π
After this week of detailed work, on October 12th Iβll be doing a top dress with worm castings and malted barley, followed by an enzyme tea on October 15th to keep the living soil active and thriving through the stretch.
Edit:
October 12th: I did a targeted defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration, removing the biggest fan leaves shading the tops.
Right after that, I applied a top dress with:
β’ Worm castings
β’ Freshly ground malted barley
β’ Neem cake
β’ Bat guano
β’ Kelp meal
β’ Basalt rock dust
β’ A bit of charged biochar
To activate everything, I watered with 5 liters of freshly mixed worm tea, stirred by hand and applied immediately.
Both plants reacted perfectly new leaves are already standing tall and the tops are reaching up through the SCROG net
On Monday i will switch to 12/12 to start flowering!
π Everythingβs set for the flip and whatβs sure to be a powerful flowering stage! πΈπ₯

ElNass The White Russian has been thriving this week, pure energy and structure. After a deep defoliation session earlier in the week, she bounced back immediately, filling the canopy with uniform tops and thick, healthy fan leaves.
I enriched the living soil with a top dress mix of worm castings, malted barley, neem, kelp, bat guano, basalt and biochar, followed by a good worm tea watering. The soil life exploded, clover regrowth, plenty of visible activity, and strong turgor on every branch.
Tomorrow, Iβll feed her a lentil enzyme tea to enhance microbial activity and boost the roots during this early bloom stretch.
Sheβs looking vigorous, balanced and ready to pack on some serious frost soon π±πͺ
Edit:
By Friday, the environment got a big upgrade, a 6-inch extractor and carbon filter from Mars Hydro are now running smoothly, improving air exchange and reducing those night-time humidity peaks.
Today (Sunday) I brewed an enzyme tea from lentils, full of natural growth stimulants, to support roots and microbes during the first stretch of flowering.
Everythingβs in harmony, soil life, structure, and energy are perfectly aligned π±β¨

ElNass The queen keeps pushing strong, her structure is filling the net with healthy tops and perfect leaf posture.
Stretching is still under control, and the color remains deep and vibrant.
Installed the new 6β extractor + Mars Hydro carbon filter this Friday: silence, airflow, and zero odor issues!
Today she got her enzyme tea (lentils) for that natural enzyme kick and smoother nutrient cycling.
The soil is thriving, moisture perfectly stable and cover crop doing its job.
Sheβs almost ready for her first real bud set, canβt wait to see her bloom.
πΏ Balance, patience, and living soil doing the magic.

ElNass What a week for the White Russian! π₯
Sheβs officially in full flower mode and looking absolutely stunning. I started the week with a heavy defoliation and lollipopping on the lower parts to open up airflow and redirect energy to the top colas. Tomorrow Iβll continue with the upper canopy cleanup, just removing the biggest fan leaves shading the inner buds.
Even though I couldnβt water as much as I wanted this week (work kept me busy π ), the living soil did its magic and kept everything stable. No signs of stress, just happy leaves and strong growth.
The structure is perfect: balanced stretch, healthy color, and buds starting to stack beautifully. The whole canopy looks like one green wave under the lights. πΏ
Next step β enzyme tea tomorrow made with lentils to boost microbial life and help her transition smoothly into full bloom.
Edit:
This Sunday I performed a top dress designed to support the onset of flowering on my 113 L living soil system, followed by watering with an enzyme tea made from sprouted lentils to stimulate enzymatic and microbial activity in the rhizosphere.
Top dress composition:
Worm castings β 5 tbsp (microbial inoculation & organic stability)
Organic malted barley (finely ground) β 2 tbsp (natural source of amylase, protease & enzyme activity)
Hydrolyzed kelp β 1 tsp (phytohormones and metabolic stimulation)
Cuban bat guano β 1 tbsp (phosphorus, calcium and trace minerals for floral development)
Gypsum (calcium sulfate) β Β½ tsp (soluble calcium & structural balance)
Basalt rock dust β 1 tbsp (micronutrient remineralization)
Oyster shell crush β Β½ tsp (slow-release calcium carbonate for pH stability)
Living biochar β 1 tbsp (microbial habitat and improved CEC)
The goal of this top dressing was to provide biologically available energy and a balanced mineral profile during this key transition phase, maintaining microbial diversity and ensuring a steady release of P, K and trace minerals.
Plants are responding positively, healthy leaf color, strong apical growth, and consistent floral formation across the canopy.
Canβt wait to see how she fills out in the next days π

ElNass White Russian is pushing out thick pistils and really starting to show her frosty side.
Sheβs a bit more demanding this week, showing some light yellowing on older leaves, a sign sheβs hungry for phosphorus and potassium, just what she needs to build those dense, resinous flowers πͺ
Top dressed her with worm castings and bat guano, plus a gentle enzyme tea to keep nutrients cycling.
The canopy is full and even, couldnβt ask for a better structure at this point.
Sheβs now shifting gears towards resin production, so the fun part begins! πβ¨

ElNass Solid week for the White Russian.
From Monday to today she received the same treatment:
a full top dress on Sunday and a worm tea + small kelp boost right after.
Her structure is holding perfectly and flowers are now forming along every branch.
Tons of fresh white pistils, strong vertical push, and a first hint of early resin production starting to show.
A couple of tiny light spots appeared on the leaves, but nothing alarming just a normal mid-flower adjustment as she ramps up nutrient uptake.
The top dress will keep feeding her for the next 10β14 days, guiding her into the bulking phase smoothly.
Overall, a clean and healthy week with solid progress.
Thanks for reading and staying tuned, more White Russian frost coming soon! βοΈπ₯

ElNass π± General Development
White Russian had a more eventful week. She reacted to light intensity and showed first signs of top bleaching, so I raised the lamp slightly, which immediately helped. Buds are chunkier than Bubblegum and stacking more aggressively, with a classic frosty look.
πΏ What I Did This Week
β’ Raised the light to prevent bleaching and heat stress on top colas.
β’ Enzyme tea (light) to boost microbial activity and help the plant handle the mid-flower nutrient demand.
β’ Adjusted irrigation to 5β6 L, keeping the soil evenly moist.
β’ Checked worms under the avocado β great activity, soil thriving.
β οΈ Issues Noticed
β’ Some upper sugar leaves slightly yellowing β normal light stress + high metabolism in mid-flower.
β’ A few lower leaves yellow β absolutely normal for Week 5β6 flower in living soil.
Nothing alarming, the plant is stable and responding well.
π This Weekβs Progress
β’ Buds thickened significantly.
β’ Aroma stronger; more citrus/spice notes coming through.
β’ Resin production clearly increasing.
β’ Structure tightened after the light adjustment.
β¨ Closing Note
White Russian is definitely the more vigorous one this cycle. After raising the light she bounced back instantly. Buds are swelling, resin is coming, and the canopy looks incredibly uniform.
Next week should be her βsparkle moment.β βοΈπ₯

ElNass More challenging week.
The White Russian showed a much more aggressive fade: the lower part is almost fully yellow and consumed, while the top buds remain compact but slightly smaller than the Bubblegum. Good resin production, but signs of underfeeding in late flower (normal⦠but a bit early).
Positives:
β’ Apical buds are still swelling nicely.
β’ Beautiful coloration on the calyxes, with
purple hues, great genetic expression.
Things to monitor:
β’ Fade is stronger and earlier than the Bubblegum, meaning the plant used up its reserves a bit too fast.
β’ Lateral buds swelling more slowly.
β’ Some slight foxtailing on a few tops from early light intensity.

ElNass This week was all about stabilizing the plant and supporting flower development in living soil.
I focused on environmental adjustments and gentle soil feeding rather than pushing nutrients.
Early in the week I monitored some light stress on the tops, so I slightly adjusted lamp height and intensity to avoid further bleaching. Since then, the canopy has responded well and growth looks more balanced.
The soil was kept active with a worm tea to support microbial life and nutrient cycling, with a small amount of kelp used only as a biostimulant (no heavy feeding). No additional heavy top dress was added, letting the soil work naturally.
Lower leaves showed some natural fade, which is expected at this stage, while bud sites continue to stack steadily. Aroma is starting to develop nicely, with classic White Russian notes coming through.
Overall, this week was about listening to the plant, keeping stress low, and letting the living soil ecosystem do its job.
β‘οΈ Next week: continue monitoring resin development and maintain stable conditions.
Happy growing π

ElNass White Russian taken all the way to the end without ever forcing anything.
Grown in living soil, letting both the soil and the plant do their work, stepping in only to maintain balance and stability.
I switched the light schedule to 12/12 on October 13, after which flowering progressed steadily and stress-free, with a slow and gradual maturation.
In the final days the plant showed a clean, natural fade, a clear sign that the cycle was closing properly.
Trichomes were mostly cloudy with the first ambers appearing, the terpene profile already well defined and free of green, harsh notes. I chose to harvest today, December 24, prioritizing flavor and overall balance rather than chasing numbers.
Now itβs time for a slow dry and a patient cure, because the work done during cultivation deserves to be respected all the way to the end.
Happy growing! π
#livingsoil #organic #scrog #season2 #seriousseeds #ledgrow #nemessis200w #elnassgrow
This White Russian was grown in living soil, focusing on balance, soil health, and quality rather than forcing the plant. From early vegetative growth, the plant showed strong vigor, healthy structure, and good internodal spacing, responding very well to the organic environment.
Flowering started after switching the light cycle to 12/12 on October 13. Throughout the flowering phase, the plant remained stable and consistent, with no major issues or deficiencies. Bud development was steady, leading to dense, resin-heavy flowers with excellent structure. Trichome production increased significantly in the second half of flowering, accompanied by a noticeable rise in terpene intensity.
As flowering progressed, the aroma evolved into a complex and mature profile, dominated by ripe cherry notes with a strong gas/fuel background. This particular phenotype stood out for its depth and character, leaning more toward a rich, dark terpene expression rather than a generic sweet profile.
Harvest took place on December 24, at peak maturity. Drying was done slowly and carefully in a controlled environment to preserve terpenes and avoid stressing the flowers. Due to the density of the buds, extra attention was given to moisture migration during the drying phase to ensure an even and clean result.
Overall, this run confirmed how well White Russian performs in a living soil setup, delivering dense, resinous buds with a strong and distinctive aromatic signature. The plant showed excellent genetic stability and quality, and it is now in the curing phase, where the final aroma and flavor profile are expected to fully mature and express their full potential.
Smoke report
Strain: White Russian
Stage: Early curing (pre-cure)
Method: Vaporizer / light combustion
Aroma:
As soon as the jar is opened, the aroma is very intense and deep. Strong notes of ripe sour cherry come through immediately, followed by a pronounced gas/fuel background. The profile feels dark, rich, and complex, with no green or damp notes at all.
Flavor (early cure):
On inhalation, the flavor is already quite present, although not fully rounded yet. On exhale, the cherry and gas combination really shines, leaving a long-lasting, almost wine-like aftertaste on the palate. Even at this early curing stage, the flavor is highly expressive and clearly shows great potential for further development.
Smoke / Vapor quality:
Smoke and vapor are surprisingly smooth for an early cure, full-bodied without being harsh.
Effect:
The effect is strong but clean. It starts with a noticeable impact, followed by a relaxed yet clear-headed mental state and a calm, relaxed body. No anxiety or uncomfortable peaks, just a very balanced and enjoyable experience.
Final thoughts (early cure):
This White Russian already shows a very strong and mature aromatic signature, with a cherry/gas profile that is rare to find so well-defined at such an early curing stage. It clearly feels like a special phenotype with a lot more to give.
Final smoke report update planned after 2β3 weeks of curing, once aroma and flavor are fully stabilized.

ElNass Harvest was completed after a full flowering cycle, cutting the plant at peak maturity. Buds were dense, resinous, and already showing a strong terpene expression at chop.
Drying was carried out slowly and in a controlled environment, prioritizing terpene preservation and overall quality over speed. Low temperatures and moderate relative humidity were used, starting with whole branches and then adapting the process based on bud size and density.
Due to the density of the flowers, internal moisture migration required close monitoring during the first days. Drying conditions were adjusted when necessary to avoid overdrying the outer layers while allowing moisture to escape evenly from the core.
By the end of the drying phase, buds felt dry on the outside while remaining slightly elastic inside. Resin production was very noticeable, with buds staying extremely sticky and aromas already opening up.
No signs of mold or off-smells were detected, only clean and expressive genetics coming through.
The buds have now entered the curing phase, where the final aroma and flavor profile will fully develop.
A final update will follow after 2β3 weeks of curing.
Nice harvest! Your flavour description let's me almost taste it too. I love detailed descriptions like this, keep them coming! Congrats on your harvest dude :)
@Hattiwatti, Thanks bro πππ Iβve checked out your diaries, theyβre insane! I love growing in living soil, but sooner or later Iβll also start giving my plants a bit of SPA treatment π. The idea of making my own tobacco also really intrigues me
@ElNass, I have tried soil, coco and hydros. Hydros suits me best. Good results also in coco earlier but next I'm prob going for big (30L) sub irrigation pots with soil. Tobacco growing is really easy but to cure it for good smoke is pain in the ass π
hi bravo, realy nice grow, i see you went on larger pots 113l, im planing same coz i think that the size is holding my grows back coz every time it gets full of roots, i wanted to ask you what is that on the spoon in 2nd to last picture, thanks and happy growing.
@desade9, Hey bro π thanks! Yeah, in living soil you really need large pots, youβre not just feeding a plant, youβre maintaining a self-sustaining ecosystem. The volume gives enough room for microbes, mycorrhizae, and worms to interact and cycle nutrients efficiently. In smaller pots that balance collapses too fast.
About the spoon, thatβs sprouted lentils, used to make an enzyme tea. π±
Theyβre rich in natural enzymes (amylase, protease, phosphatase) and growth hormones like cytokinins, which speed up root metabolism, enhance nutrient uptake, and stimulate healthy cell division during early flower. Itβs like a biological βboosterβ for the soil food web.
@Aeromatics, Thanks bro! π Sheβs really starting to show her potential, every day a bit more frost on those sugar leaves πβ¨
Canβt wait to see how she stacks up over the next couple of weeks! ππΏ
@Momentum, Thanks a lot bro π I really appreciate it! Iβm a big fan of true old-school genetics, they always deliver. Letβs see how far I can push them in living soil π₯

That's crazy the results that your're constantly getting. Already wondered if I would implement living soil but I think your results leaves no room for doubts. I'll be trying it next grow. Thank you for sharing, Bro!
@Gabgrow, Thanks a lot bro, really appreciate it π
Living soil definitely changed everything for me, not just yields, but especially flavor, smoothness and overall balance. Once you see how the plants respond and how the final product smokes, itβs hard to go back.
Glad to hear youβre giving it a try next run, feel free to ask anytime. Happy growing π±π
@TheWeedaltor, Ahah thanks a lot bro ππ I really wanted to bring that strain back to life, itβs a classic that deserved some respect! Glad you appreciated it π―π₯
