Think the rainbow might pop out a few mutations, looks like it has upon that leaf right there.
She is the smallest out the 4 but only in height, shes developing the same as Mon cherry and Sundogz. Interesting
6/1/26
Decent growth out of Rainbow today, shes starting to move at a bit of a more forward pace, still the smallest but shes not behind, id say shes now ahead of the mon cherry node wise as I can see her 4th set about to start popping out once she spread her 3rd.
30ml veg1, 15ml complete grow cal mag added. E.c 1.1, ph 5.9-6

RBG Rainbow is starting to speed up a little bit more since her nute change, unfortunately shes been effected by a cal mag deficiency also.
Steady but minimal growth, let's hope within a few days she'll be back to her normal self
Light reduced to 20% ( thinking going to early in 5% light increments might of also had a hand in her early onsets)
E.c 1-1.1, ph 5.8-6
11/1/26
Still slow but steady growth, looking better all round but still in a stable recovery mode, deficiencies take around 5-10 days to truly recover from but I'm glad we're still seeing progress. Light increased to 25% so hopefully we see a little bit of better progress
12/1
Recovery looking promising
13/1
Still in a stable recovery mode, not hugely effected, seems like new growth coming in isnt affected as much as the older growth slowly withers away. more of a robust green without yellowing nor new spots.
Deficiency takes around 5-10 days to fully recover from and to start seeing new growth unaffected by the Deficiency at hand.

RBG 🌱Rainbow melon by Fastbuds🌱
Week 4
Veg day 4
17/1/26
Still affected but showing better growth, nothing fancy but the weather has been an absolute shocker this past week, average 30° but environmental factors pushing 36-40°.
Both aircons struggling to keep temps under 28 in room and tents, averaging around 28-30 😪
Water is getting absolutely destroyed too, sitting high at 26-28 when usually 20-24
Overall getting bentover just like taxes
Water will be changed today, waiting on bottles of water to cool down as water out the tap is 32° right now
Will definitely be investing in more chillers for these other systems to combat heat/fluctuations.

Still struggling but slowly getting there, not too sure what else I can do for the nori cake or rainbow after there battle with a calmag deficiency and the heat thats come on through here
Better temps inside and out, sitting about 25 through the day and 22 at night better then 33-34° feeling like 42-43° and water sitting roughly around 20° instead of 28-30°

Better weather this week so far, shes looking more healthy in general, still slower growth but fine otherwise, after the past 3 weeks of a heat wave I'm surprised they're even still alive or havent flipped themselves
All we can do is continue on and see what we come up with.
She's a little sad and I can't seem to pinpoint a reason unfortunately
Thinking about keeping them on veg for an extra 2 weeks or so to try and gain as much good weather i can to let them shape up a bit better

RBG Yeah, I mean they're alive 😂 better weather but still a hit and miss depending on the days, hot one, cold next rinse and repeat, these poor ladies probably think they're being absolutely tourted 😪
Added cannazyme to the mix, will change out nutrients tomorrow to flowering, have switched to a 12/12 light cycle. Was thinking about doing a bit of extra veg but I don't really think I'll gain too much with how they're all growing so just going to finish them up and keep hoping they don't die in the process.
Cleaned all 4 up and removed any unwanted foliage.
Bit of a sad run this one as I wasnt anticipating the weather that came through but a lesson learnt also

Another couple shit days for weather, today is decent and supposedly next few days also... over 30+ degree heat. Shes looking a little better, still nowhere near where she should be unfortunately, just keep hoping they all survive 😂

Honestly just going to take it how it comes, she'll flower at some point, at the end of the day sundogz has flowered so 1/4, does look like the rest might be within the week

Other then shes stunted and a bit rough. shes forming nicely, starting to smell creamy sweet and tropical, i really wish she didnt have to fight such a long battle with weather and problems otherwise she would pf turned out absolutely gorgeous, shes starting to dense up really nice.
I'm not expecting to pull much from her maybe and oz all up but I wanted to see the outcome on all 4 regardless of the weather to get more understanding for myself.
I learnt a lot from these first 4 diaries
Weather in general is starting to improve so should see better results in general from the HB n permanent bluez
Ph 6, e.c 2.1
* will update with pics and smoke report a bit later on *
Well wasn't this a very stressful run across the 4 of these ladies, sundogz, mon cherry, rainbow melon, nori cake.
We went through water problems, weather problems, deficiencies but they all survived, kinda wild while water is sitting around 28° for the first few months with cold packs to cool it down throughout the day but while we were dealing with that we had some of the hottest days of the year roll through with temps hitting 45° outside and 30-35° inside.
Rainbow melon smells absolutely lovely, very deep, very rich, like a creamy fruity sundae with maybe a bit of a spicy undertone, unfortunately I can't really give a review on her other then she survived a very big battle with environmental factors, even though shes stunted. Where she did grow she is dense as, maybe the densest out the 4
I really do hope I come by her again to she her full potential, im only expecting maybe 7g maybe more, we'll see. She'll be very flavourful though.
Her roots were clean from top to bottom so the issues we were having weren't from anything root related, just stacked up environmental factors that we unfortunately didn't have the available funds to be able to fix so had to make with what we had.
problems we were facing.
Definitely early defoliation but bit by bit. Not in a big lot
Shes a lighter drinker but in saying that she was stunted, she could be a very heavy drinker
Over all I wouldnt say shes beginner friendly, I'd save her until you understand your ladies a little bit more so you can see her full potential otherwise you will stunt her
Will update with a smoke report and a couple end pictures a bit later on
