Grandmas_Boy Not sure if I'm gonna post a full diary of this, but I HAD to post these pics of her. Literally the most beautiful plant I have EVER grown. She's gorgeous!!! The undersides of the leaves have turned a beautiful pinkish purple hue, and she has red and yellow and purple starting to show on her lower leaves. As far as the strain goes, I got 3 free seeds from Elev8 when I ordered the Apple Candy last year, and decided to let them be the maiden voyage in my new 2x4. All 3 started off strong, though #3 was pretty stressed out even though the other two were extremely happy. Went to flower and everything seemed fine, until I found THEM. Footballs. Only on #3. I kind of expected it to happen, she never shook her stress, despite being in a near perfect environment. I assume she had some form of root issue that she never got over. Culled her and reset the other two to fill the space. The next week however, found footballs on both #1 and #2. Did some digging and reading... According to reddit, Elev8 is known for herms... but according to reddit everyone is the devil and the only seeds you can trust are obscure breeders that I've never heard of before. Did some more reading and watched videos from people in the industry, and learned that no matter what....ANY feminized seed CAN go herm. Its a bit of a numbers game and the majority of the time, if its not from environmental stress, you can just knock the footballs off and keep the plant and everything will be OK. So that's what I did, and saved both of them. #1 is the plant in the pictures, and #2 is way chunkier, but not as photogenic in my opinion. Both are really frosty. and both smell of ripe fruit, candy, and gas. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out.
