Low Stress, High Hopes

I guess it was just bad luck, since my three previous grows with Sweet seeds had a 100% germination rate. But that's how it can go. Anyways, I'm quite excited about the Papaya Zoap. It's my first time doing a one-plant grow, so I'm curious how it's going to turn out. For the light intensity, I follow the values indicated by Growlightmeter based on the DLI.

Week ------------------------------- 02.09.2025 Started LST (Low Stress Training) ------------------------------- 04.09.2025 Watering according to 1/3 rule (2L pot) ------------------------------- 08.09.2025 Watering according to 1/3 rule (2L pot) ------------------------------- Comments: First time doing LST. Looking back, I bent the main branch, but next time I’ll top it and tie down the side branches instead. You never learn out, huh ;) Also my First time using Greenhouse Feeding.

Week ------------------------------- 08.09.2025 Watering according to 1/3 rule (2L pot) ------------------------------- 13.09.2025 Transplanted from 2L → 11L pot (rootball healthy) Watering: 1/3 rule Feeding: 25 g GHF Bio Grow (3 g/L substrate) 3.5 g GHF Bio Enhancer (1 g/L water) Light: DLI ~25–30 (reduce if necessary) Continued defoliation & LST Topping → not performed At least 1.5 weeks of veg left before flowering ------------------------------- Comments: I am very satisfied with the root development. The lady is responding well to the nutrients and so far shows no signs of overfeeding or deficiencies. In hindsight, I’m not a big fan of how I started my LST, but it has also been an incredibly beautiful experience to engage with the plant daily and adapt it the way I need. I set up the LST so that I train her toward the center of the pot, ensuring that everything is nicely filled when I initiate the flowering phase. Some might say it would have been better to transplant from 2L to 5L instead of going straight to 11L, but unfortunately I didn’t have any other options.

LeOnTerps 5. Week ------------------------------- Comments: Not much new to report. The plant is doing well. LST is adjusted daily. Fan leaves are removed when necessary.

LeOnTerps 6. Week ------------------------------- 24.09.2025 Watering: 1/3 rule (11L pot) Reduced fan leaves Continued LST ------------------------------- 28.09.2025 – Switched to Flower (12/12) Watering & Feeding: 30 g GHF Bio Bloom (3 g/L substrate) 3.5 g GHF Bio Enhancer (1 g/L water) Reduced fan leaves Continued LST ------------------------------- Comments: So far, everything is going great. The humidity has been relatively stable, she’s growing very quickly, and the LST is working just as I envisioned. I think switching to 12/12 was appropriate, as the tent is slowly becoming nicely filled. So far, I can’t say anything bad about the GreenHouseFeeding nutrients—they’re doing their job very well. The Papaya Zoap from Sweet Seeds has handled everything I’ve thrown at her so far ;) The lady is, as usual for Sweet Seeds, very robust. At first, I was a little worried she might turn hermaphrodite, since I had that problem in my first grow, but so far there are no signs of it. If everything continues like this, this will be my most successful grow yet.

LeOnTerps Week 1 Flower ------------------------------- Comments: Everything is going great. She has slightly light-green tips, but I’m not worried about them at this point. LST has been continued gradually, but now the lady is allowed to start stretching ;). I plan to do lollipopping after the stretch. In the coming days, some lower fan leaves will be removed to largely prevent shading. I’m very satisfied with how things are progressing.
