Thaniel420Fox [Seeds in Coconut Propagation Pot on 22.9.25]
Winter is coming!
So quickly into the basement, while an experiment on the balcony is still fearing for its life.
I've set up a Runtz from Zamnesia. This is the second grow ever in the box. I used the same soil. The root ball of the Bluedream is still in there; I pressed the seedlings (started 1 week early in a coconut propagation pot) right next to the old stem.
Two weeks before the start, I added some mycorrhiza, brown algae powder, sugarcane molasses, and rock dust for renewal on top.
Let's see how it goes. I've already turned the lamp directly to 20% and will generally try to keep the humidity a bit higher this time and give more light. At least during the growth phase. Let's see if I can get the plant to be bushier this way. I'll try to provide regular updates again. Enjoy following the report. 🙂

The Stixx is set to 40% power. This ensures a short internode distance and compact growth. I've raised the lamp a bit now and hope for some stretching, as I actually want to top the plant. For that, I want a bit more space to the next internode. The plant looks okay otherwise; it doesn't seem to mind getting relatively a lot of light.
Due to the increased light output, the temperature has risen from 18 to 19 degrees during the light phase.
I continue to keep the humidity at 90-94%. Besides the circulation fan and lamp, nothing else is running.

Thaniel420Fox Today is October 26th, so exactly 35 days since the seed went into the coco. The plant is developing great, the stem is nice and thick. It's almost as thick as the stem of my last plant after the harvest. I will top it next week if nothing comes up. So far, nothing special.

Thaniel420Fox Today is November 2nd. I was on vacation for a week and the plant made a good push. That's why I topped it today. The stem is really thick and I don't really know why; I haven't had that with any plant before.. I hope this won't become a problem since you can now look into the plant from above.

Thaniel420Fox Today is 11/10/25. I set the light output of the Stixx50 to 80% today. The plant looks quite healthy so far. I'm now slowly going to reduce the humidity. In the last few weeks, it has always been around 99-94%. Additionally, I set up a net three days ago and I'm trying to spread everything out now. If all goes well, we'll be moving into the flowering phase by the end of next week.

Thaniel420Fox Today is the 16th of November, it's been 8 weeks and 1 day.
I cut off a few tops, removed quite a bit of leaf mass, and also took off some side shoots from the bottom, so I did a bit of lollipopping. The whole thing should recover for about 3–4 days, then I'll switch to flowering.

Thaniel420Fox On 11/24/25, I set the rhythm to 12/12.
The new leaves are always a bit yellowish, but they quickly turn green. Everything else is great, the plant is growing well!

I haven't done anything all week except for feeding and letting it grow without stressing the plant.

The plant is stretching further, the first pistils are becoming visible. Otherwise, there’s nothing new or unusual.

Thaniel420Fox Today is January 12, 2026 exactly. 112 days after the seed went into the ground.
It is very cold. The basement doesn't handle the snow and ice very well. The plant doesn't seem very lively and clearly shows that it doesn't like the cold much either. As for the trichomes, I think we should definitely wait another two to four weeks. I don't really see any milky ones yet, but the plant is already showing a lot of purple, which I believe isn't that normal for Runz. But it is cold after all. I hope it gets a bit warmer now, so we can at least be at 15 to 16 degrees and not at 14.
For a proper comparison, you would of course need a clone with an identical setup and simply lower humidity, but yes, I think it's largely due to the high humidity and more light.
