LS_Rebel_Roots Now the ladies have been in the new setup for 4 days. They like it. The cultivation initially took place under a fluorescent tube and afterwards under a 150 watt HPS.

LS_Rebel_Roots After installing the SCROG net, I removed a lot of fan leaves and small shoots and branches that I don't need on the plants. Maybe I was a bit aggressive, it was a try. And this is my first run in the new setup... So I was thinking I can do some tests on training styles. Got them very low. I like it. This is my first SCROG. In the past, I worked with wire and stakes because I was able to move the plants whenever I wanted to.

LS_Rebel_Roots Today I switched to 12/12. I think the Purple Bud will grow too big if I let her grow further under 18/6. The Critical Kush could take another week under 18/6... The next run will be only one genetic... This will be much less stress and issues.

LS_Rebel_Roots The ladies are doing really well.... They are getting bigger and bigger. I think in about a week the final defoliation before the main flowering will take place. Probably on flowering day 14-18. Depending on growth. It will be the first time I do very aggressive defoliation.

LS_Rebel_Roots I decided to do the defoliation later, on blooming day 18-21. It is better because when you do it too early, many new leaves will shoot out of the bud sites. We don’t want that. We want buds, not leaves...

LS_Rebel_Roots On blooming day 17, I went for a defoliation. Now the plants are fine. Looking very healthy and strong. I gave them Grow Genius for the first time; it is 40% monosilicic acid. You only need 0.3ml per 10 liters! Let's have a look if the plants like it. As a foliar spray, you take 0.05ml per liter. You put it in your water every 7 days. I removed the scrognet because I was stoned and cut it. A few days later, I supercropped all the stems.

LS_Rebel_Roots I have trained them very hard... But thanks to the Grow Genius (monosilicic acid) there are no problems. I bent them over 180 degrees without snapping! This juice is incredible!

LS_Rebel_Roots Removed only some leaves that steal light from lower budsites... Light is dimmed to 75%. The main light... The add lights are running full. Deep Red or Hyper Red for the full bloom cycle. IR is running 15 minutes before and after the main light phase for wake up and sleep... Even got UV 54 Watts... Running for 3 times for two hours.
