FeebleSnane I am NOT fucking around this time.
I have an incredibly bad record of feminized plants growing pollen sacks or nanners, and this time I'm taking zero chances with stress. I've grown 5 separate grows before, two of them at the same time which I consider the "fourth grow", and this is the 5th grow. Of the 4 prior grows, 3 of them resulted in pollen sacks on plants that were supposed to be feminized. All of those plants were genetics from Royal Queen Seeds or FastBuds, and this time I'm going a completely different direction. This grow is with a triploid genetic that is allegedly incapable of producing seeds or reproductive parts (aside from flowers).
In my previous grow (Grow #4.2), I tried out AutoPots for a watering system. I fucking loved it for that grow, so I bought a better system for this tent, and I'll be growing 3 plants with it. The plan for this grow is to have 4 main branches coming off the trunk. I want to grow those 4 branches as well as I can, and put them through a net to keep a nice even canopy. I also want to get far more aggressive with my lolipopping and defoliation this time around. I need to be more confident in the way I remove small buds/branches prior to the flower stage, so I get only high quality buds in my final yield.
For germination, I put 3 seeds into a wet paper towel in a bag, then placed that bag in my server cabinet. The cabinet stays about 80F-85F, so it should be a cozy temperature for the seeds. This particular strain is supposed to have a lower germination rate, as mentioned by the breeder, and one of three seeds had a great germination period. Two of three seeds broke open, but don't seem to be vigorous seeds. I'm glad that all 3 broke open, but from past experience I know that 2 seeds will be noticeably behind the first. I planted the seeds in the tent in order of strongest to weakest germination. The seed with the longest root was planted in the left-most pot, and the seed with the shortest root was planted in the right-most pot.
Pray that this doesn't turn into a one plant grow.
