FeebleSnane I am NOT fucking around this time. I have an incredibly bad record of feminized plants growing pollen sacks or nanners, and this time I'm taking zero chances with stress. I've grown 5 separate grows before, two of them at the same time which I consider the "fourth grow", and this is the 5th grow. Of the 4 prior grows, 3 of them resulted in pollen sacks on plants that were supposed to be feminized. All of those plants were genetics from Royal Queen Seeds or FastBuds, and this time I'm going a completely different direction. This grow is with a triploid genetic that is allegedly incapable of producing seeds or reproductive parts (aside from flowers). In my previous grow (Grow #4.2), I tried out AutoPots for a watering system. I fucking loved it for that grow, so I bought a better system for this tent, and I'll be growing 3 plants with it. The plan for this grow is to have 4 main branches coming off the trunk. I want to grow those 4 branches as well as I can, and put them through a net to keep a nice even canopy. I also want to get far more aggressive with my lolipopping and defoliation this time around. I need to be more confident in the way I remove small buds/branches prior to the flower stage, so I get only high quality buds in my final yield. For germination, I put 3 seeds into a wet paper towel in a bag, then placed that bag in my server cabinet. The cabinet stays about 80F-85F, so it should be a cozy temperature for the seeds. This particular strain is supposed to have a lower germination rate, as mentioned by the breeder, and one of three seeds had a great germination period. Two of three seeds broke open, but don't seem to be vigorous seeds. I'm glad that all 3 broke open, but from past experience I know that 2 seeds will be noticeably behind the first. I planted the seeds in the tent in order of strongest to weakest germination. The seed with the longest root was planted in the left-most pot, and the seed with the shortest root was planted in the right-most pot. Pray that this doesn't turn into a one plant grow.

FeebleSnane Today is day 7 since the plants sprouted. This strain comes with a warning about the germination rates, and while all 3 of them popped a root, plant #1 looks a little fucked. We'll call #1 Igor. Plants #2 and #3 look perfectly normal and healthy, which is funny because plant #1 had the longest root after germination. Plants #2 and #3 are showing some signs that they want nutrients already since the leaves are a little yellow/pale. There were no nutrients added to the soil, which was just 70/30 coco/perlite, so it's fine for them to show some deficiency signs at this point. As usual, the nutrients are starting out on the low end of the scale, and if the plants still look hungry in a week then I'll increase the dosage. I largely just follow the feed chart provided by General Hydroponics for the nutrients I use, and that's worked out well in the past. So far, the plants have just been hand watered, and will be switched to the AutoPot system when they're closer to 2 weeks old. I'm debating if I want to experiment with clones for this grow, which would mean I have to dedicate one tent to vegetation and one to flower, and I'm still debating if I want to do that. My other AutoPot system only feeds 2 plants instead of just having a whole tray to use, so it may depend on how Igor's life plays out. Just in case the plants get moved to the other tent with a super light, they'll be under 300 PAR for the next week. Hopefully they can handle it.
