Hi guys, So this is my first grow. Or actually second but the first try wasn't a very serious try, Haha. In my eyes, this one is. I've read loads of stuff on the internet and from other people who had Utopia Haze in this app. So I've created my own growing tent from the resources I had closeby. And I'm really curious how this is gonna work out. I really want to do some measuring (like temp and PH) but I don't have the tools for that yet. Coming soon I hope. I've any of you guys have any tips please comment. Maybe it's the golden tip! For now I'll try it with this but the plan is to buy a growing tent later in the progress and some proper gear throughout the weeks. I've seeded these Utopia Haze seeds last Wednesday (24th April '19) Do guys have any knowledge on LED lights? These were called led 200. But I have no idea I've this is to less or to much power... I guess to less? I've had these seeds for 2 months now and was constantly reading information in the internet and was a bit scred to start and screw things up. But my favourite coffee shop dealer in the Netherlands (Repelsteeltje in Leeuwarden, best scenery ever seen) said to just start and learn by growing. "You're definitively going to make mistakes, but that is part of the fun, experience and learning you do. Nothing you do is perfect in the first try, that's life".

I have these LED 200 led lighting. But the box doesn't say how much power that is. I tried the internet but can't really figure out if this is the right amount... any ideas?

It is most likely in the 25-50w range. This is the rough guess of the "true wattage" which is the actual watts being pulled from the wall and used. Just a real rough guess based off of what other budget LED puck lights cost. Most LED manufactures advertise watts and not true watts because the number is higher so looks better. But the 200watts its advertised at is wmthe maximume the bulbs in the light could handle. They are never ran near max, specially with budget LED lamps. Good LED manufactures will list their true wattage in the product description. Most knockoff Chinese leds wont list this anywhere and requires special electrical testing equipment to determine. But these still have their place. I started growing with a "600W" LED which actually had a true wattage just over 200 once tested out. Was still great to start my growing hobby. If my guess is correct and it is under 100 true watts you will want to add more light. While you can probably bring these babies all the way through with it after months of effort I'm not sure you'll like the reward. A general growers rule of thumb for good growers is a return of 1g per 1 true watt of power. And many good growers cant even hot this. So a optimistic yield would for your light would be 60ish grams if my guess on true power is correct and everything else is correct. But for new growers a more realistic goal is 1 gram per 2 true watts used. When determining how much light you need Many growers also like to use the general rule of 50-70 true watts of light per square foot. But all of this is improvements on your current set up. With more info on your light I could more accurately tell you what it's TRUE power is. If you still have the box or pics of it/the light. Hope atleast some of this was benificial for you. Best of luck with your grow and any questions just ask. Kind of an LED nerd

So it's been 8 days now since I seeded these Utopia Haze seeds. And I'm already learning so much by just looking at them for at least 3 times per 18 hours. And it's great fun taking care of them. I'm making notes about things that surprised me or if there was anything peculiar going on. Stuff like: -On the 28th I've lowered the ventilation by halve the power it was running on because of the cold weather outside and I couldn't get it warm enough in the house. It is around 20°C in the house -28th changed from 50ml to 30ml water with Terra roots and the soil is still to much wet in my opinion. Probably very clear on that one picture -3th of may it has grown 1,5 cm in one day! I think I'm gonna keep it in this soil for 6 more days and change it to soil with nutrients in it and a bigger bucket. Probably used some wrong terms when it comes down to my English, but I hope it clarified the progress of the last 8 days a bit.

Is of sometimes normaal that the 2 leaves you have on your baby plant are standing upwards? Like a closed flower, if you know what I mean? 2 are normal but 1 is doing that...

Your temperatures are too cold they may be stressed out because of that causing growth to be slowed down. Also it could be a low humidity issue. To help out you can take some clear plastic cups and poke a hole in the bottom place them over the seedlings to help increase the humidity. If this is the start of week 2 you just need to give them a bit of time and some warmth and they will open up. Good luck.

Not sure if they get enough light... it's clear they grew, but is it normal that it's this less? Anyway, started feeding them Terra Grow since last Wednesday, and did put them in soil with nutrients as well. Maybe I can get a lamp from a friend but otherwise I'll have to do it with this led light. Or... I can give them sunlight as well? Instead of only using this light? Its spring right now here so it should be perfect? I can still use the lamp to get a 18/6 daytime cycle. Or is the risk of it getting light from outside, let's say streetlights, to big that they could go into the flowering stage way to early? Anyway! The color looks pretty good! Not that much news only that I broke one of the strains

Well... it's been two weeks now since I last updated you guys. Had a busy 2 weeks but I luckily still found the time to take care of my 3 Utopia haze baby's. Week 4 They've been in the soil for a while now. And there is not that much happening. The only peculiar thing that happened was that #1 and #2 fell down on the ground. Did some research and I was not surprised with my own mistake. The didnt had any air flow/wind to let the strain grow strong. Besides that it was pretty clear they didnt got enough light from the small led I had installed. Week 5 Some big changes had happened now. I took #2 and #3 out of my "growingcage" and have put them on my windowsill. They get sunlight for a little more then 16 hours. Still inside to get used to the natural sunlight. Planned to take then outside in like 5 days. My #1 had some changes to. He was alone in the growingcage and using all the light I have. Which means I lowered the led light for like 3 cm above the plant. I'm not sure if it was the right choice in the long run. But I it's pretty sure he's very healthy and growing bigger for 300% more then the other two. In not sure about some little issues that I cant find the words for to explain but gonna search on the internet for those anwser. For now I'm satisfied with my progress and choices. And I'm pretty confident about the plans I have for the future with these three Utopia fellas. Hopefully next week there will be more good news about them. For now I'm learning a lot and already making plans for next growing diaries. Last thing i want to say is that i had contact with the guys of Barneys Farm because they were interested in my progress and experiences. They asked for photo's for their advertisement and sended me some gifts for my cooperating. Actually all I can say say to Barneys Farm is: "thank you guys for supporting me with your gifts and help, you guys rock!" https://youtu.be/5wTtv2msqAI Hope you guys can watch the video. Because I had it on anynomous settings. But the people who have the link should be able to watch it.

What a week! Fimmed #1 2 days after I posted my last update. It was exciting of course because I didnt knew if it was going to work out. But as you can see it was successful! And I'm so happy to see how she is doing. This week I suppose to get a bigger light. Because to use all the power I have in my led lightning I have to keep it right above my plant. Till now that was no problem but maybe in the long run it will have its consequences. #2 & #3 are doing wel too. Besides that they keep falling down because of the wind or they're just not strong enough to stay up. I try to help them a little bit, but not to much so that they hopefully grow stronger to stay up on their own strength. According to my nutriens schedule that comes with the try out package. I already had to use terra bloom in week 3. But looking at different growers of Utopia Haze and looking at the plants I decided it would be best to start in week 6. Like the title says. It my first grow. So I'm learning constantly. But I really love doing it! I learn so much about plants and the theory behind it. Especially #1 is a lot of fun to work on because I control its circumstances completely myself. Thanks again Barney's Farm for helping me out and giving me the opportunity to start growing!

Had a great week! All 3 of them grew a lot! We had some heavy weather here in the north of the Netherlands. Heavy winds and loads of rain. So I had to keep an eye on #2 and #3 and make sure they didnt got destroyed. #1 is doing great and is almost ready to fimme again! Still dont got the other lamp tho... Yesterday I fimmed #2 and #3. I think its gonna be a succes! Not that much to talk about I guess. They're just doing fine and I'm still learning. See you guys next week

This week i fimmed #2 & #3 and or was a succes! They both survived and are doing just fine. The weather is finnaly turning into something that we like to call summer. Actually perfect weather for growing weed right now. Its warm and there is a high air humidity! #1 is also doing just fine. Still waiting for that lamp tho... (f*%k) but anyway! He is growing really fast now. Didnt do anything with him but I think I can fimmed him this week too, or the week after that. They smell awesome btw!

I still didnt got the light from that friend of mine so decided to move #1 outside too. Since it wasnt growing that good past week and #2 & #3 were getting bigger then him. It ain't autoflower seeds so I hope this will go well. Maybe I let them inside again the week I will start flowering. So that I can regulate the light schedule again and after a couple of weeks move them outside again so they get enough light. Bit of a bummer. But it's the first grow ever so I ain't complaining
