Gruenerfinger85 Hello plant friends and community.
Welcome to a new diary, this time we're starting with Fast Buds 42. A huge thanks goes out to Heather for making it possible for me to try out some of these amazing strains.
Day: 3
Today, two out of three seeds have popped.
Day: 5
Today, the last seedling has also emerged from the soil. All three look healthy and lively, and I'm really looking forward to testing them thoroughly.
Summary:
All three plants are being cultivated in Living Soil, and this soil is being used for the second time. The old soil was amended with 50% fresh substrate and with White Ash Botanic, each with Soil Food and Soil Harvest. Then, the soil was filled into 15-liter pots, and the seeds were placed in it. The soil was kept moist with a spray bottle, and a transparent dome was placed over the moist spot so that the seedlings would find a humid environment as soon as they broke through the soil surface. Starting from week 3, I will begin LST training; I might top them once, but I will decide that based on the situation.
Thank you very much for your visit and support; I really appreciate it and wish you a pleasant day. If you want to know how the little ones develop into magnificent plants, feel free to follow me to stay updated.

Gruenerfinger85 Hello my garden and plant friends.
It's going up now, all three Weeding Ceesecake have reached the next stage.
From day 13, so in the 2nd week of life, the little ones have switched to the growth phase.
So far, everything is going smoothly; once the plants have developed enough, I will try out different training methods, and which type of training and on which plant will be determined when the time comes.
Gruenerfinger85 Hello my garden and plant friends, welcome to a new current week. The plants look satisfied and happy.
Last week, all the plants got a real growth spurt in height and width. If I want to top them, I need to start now, otherwise it won't happen.
It makes sense to let #1 grow, train #2 with LST, and top #3.
#3 is lagging a bit behind the other two, so I would top it.
I've managed to get the fungus gnats under control, thankfully. It was getting out of hand with the infestation; I thought I would never get rid of those little pests, thanks to neem oil.
I haven't defoliated the beauties yet; it hasn't been necessary.
That's it for week 4 for now. If there's more to report, I'll check in again. Until then, I wish you all the best.

Gruenerfinger85 Hello plant friends, welcome to another successful week.
The plants are developing splendidly; #1 Mist has reached a height of 32 cm, #2 is at 15.5 cm, and finally, #3 is at 12.5 cm.
I have defoliated #1 a bit, at least in the spots where the underlying shoots are covered by the sun sails.
I topped #3 on day 30 before it was too late; if I had let it grow longer, nothing would have come of it. So now we will see if it was early enough or already too late.
For #2, I bent the branches a bit or tucked the leaves under other branches so that the underlying shoots get more light. Otherwise, all the plants get watered every 3-4 days without fertilizer since they are planted in Living Soil, which doesn't require additional nutrients.
The vitality of the plants is very good; they look happy and content. At the end of the first week of flowering, I will use the Living Soil Harvest from White Ash Botanic as pot feed to ensure they are fully nourished like in the vegetative phase.
As soon as that happens, I will check in again. Until then, I wish you a pleasant week, and thank you for stopping by.
On day 32, pre-flowering has started for Wedding Cake #1 and #2; the three is showing signs of it but isn't quite there yet.

Gruenerfinger85 Hello my plant friends and grow colleagues, I'm glad you're stopping by again to see how the pretty girls are doing and what kind of development they've gone through. I can tell you that they have made great progress and are now carrying beautiful buds that get bigger and prettier every day. These beauties have been in the flowering stage for a week now. This strain has developed many pistils on the buds, which are all still very clean. As you probably all know, these will get darker over time. The internode spacing is a bit too far apart for my taste; it would be better if they were a bit closer together. I also think there are way too few nodes (which means fewer flower clusters). Despite that, there are still many flower clusters, and I strongly believe there will be nice thick buds by the end of the flowering stage. Thank you for your visit, and as soon as there's something to report, I'll get back to you. Thanks for your support.
Current height of the plants:
#1) 50.5cm
#2) 38.5cm
#3) 41cm
