BudBeezy Welcome to my outdoor grow for season 2025. As always, I am using the water glass method to germinate the seeds. After less than 48 hours, a large root has already formed. The seedling was planted in a 25-liter fabric pot from Gronest. The substrate is mainly Floragard TKS 2. Some seedling soil was used as a seedling bed for the seedling. This year, I decided to go with the Sour Jealousy strain from FastBuds. Since I always get great results with this seed producer, I'm sticking with them. With a super warm and dry summer forecast for this year, I think Sour Jealousy is the right choice. I'm already excited about the terpene profile and can't wait to try it.
Sonnenerde Bio Seedling soil:
N 50-300 mg/L - P 80-300 mg/L - K 1500-2000 mg/L
Floragard TKS 2
N 210 mg/L - P 240 mg/L - K 270 mg/L - Mg 70 mg/L - S 150mg/L

BudBeezy Welcome to week 1 of my this years outdoor grow. The Sour Jealousy didn't take long to emerge, appearing on the surface after 48 hours. By the end of the week, it had reached a height of 5.5 cm. I held back a little with the watering as I had moistened the soil well when filling the pot. I'm really excited to see how the plant does. The plant is kept protected on a kind of balcony for the first few weeks because there are many snails in the garden and the plant would not recover in its young state.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 2 of my grow diary. The plant is growing great and feels very comfortable in the substrate. It has reached a height of 10 cm. I am considering topping it to prevent mold later on, as the weather here is unfortunately always unpredictably bad. Maybe we will be lucky this year. The weather was great this week, and I hope it stays that way for the next few weeks. The decision will be made next week.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 3 of my grow diary. Since the plant has grown really well, I decided to top it. I made the cut above node 3. I usually do it above node 2, but I wanted to try something new this time and gain some new experience. Maybe it will work better this way than usual. I also removed one pair of fan leaves so that the lowest shoots can develop well. In addition I will now just let the plant grow without LST. If it is really necessary, I may decide to do it. At the end of the week, it had reached a height of 14 cm. There was no growth stoppage at all after topping. The Sour Jealousy seems really robust. FastBuds always delivers great quality. So far, I've only had one plant that remained a dwarf due to topping. So big shoutout to the breeder!

BudBeezy Welcome to week 4 of my grow diary. The plant has grown significantly this week. This week, I also gave it half a dose of Sugar Royal from Plagron. The fertilizer consists exclusively of nitrogen and has probably given it a good growth boost. I didn't think it would stretch so quickly. There are no signs of pre-flowering yet. I also enriched the water with Epsom salts because the water in our area has a high calcium content, thus creating a better balance. The dosage was probably a little too high, as the leaves are curling downwards and are dark green.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 5 of my grow diary. The growth boost has continued. The Sugar Royal in combination with the strong Sativa strain is causing the plant to grow extremely well. This week, I removed a few more leaves so that all shoots get an equal amount of sun. Since I increased the watering to 4 liters, I have less confidence in my support construction for the pot. The weight simply became too high and I didn't want it to break and the plant to fall into the depths. The new place is now on the bench, which will hopefully keep the snails from eating the plant. Now that I have reduced the Epsom salts, the curling of the leaves has decreased and the leaf color has also become lighter. In addition, pre-flowering has begun.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 6 of my grow diary. The plant has grown considerably again. It's definitely going to be a beautiful bush. Lots of pistils are currently forming. I removed some more leaves this week and lollipopped the lower shoots. The plant is now also getting a full dose of Sugar Royal, Power Buds, and Green Sensation once a week and only water on the other days.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 7 of my grow diary. The weather this week has been phenomenal! I hope it stays this way. The air is dry and the sun is shining brightly. Due to the weather I had to increase the watering again. Growth is slowing down. This week, there was only 5 cm of growth. The buds are forming and there is a light fruity scent in the air. The terpenes have a citrusy, creamy note. Reminds me a little of Gorilla Cookies, but with more fruitiness.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 8 of my grow diary. Everything is going well so far. Unfortunately, a little mildew has formed in a few places. I treated the leaves with a mixture of one tablespoon of vinegar and 1 liter of water. No new mildew has formed since the treatment. The plant seems to be the perfect place for insects to settle down and start a family😂

BudBeezy Welcome to week 9 of my grow diary. In the middle of the week, I decided to pull the four main shoots apart using plant wire and binder clips, as the side shoots in the middle weren't getting enough light. Fortunately I couldn't find any more mildew. The weather continues to be great.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 10 of my grow diary. Growth has now finally stopped. The buds are getting thicker and ripening day by day. As it gets quite damp at night, the plant is spending the night in the garage. Otherwise, dew collects in the buds and it takes too long for them to dry again, which is a high risk for mold. Now that we're nearing the end, I don't want to take any risks. You can tell that the plant is begging for nutrients even though it is getting enough fertilizer. The leaves are starting to turn slightly yellow. Autumn is beginning and the harvest is not far off. The smell is now extremely dominant and the whole garden smells when you go outside.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 11 of my grow diary. Now it's time for the final sprint. The trichomes are 80% milky. You can tell that the weather is getting worse and worse. I'm thinking about harvesting the plant soon because the weather forecast looks really bad for the next few weeks. Some days it's supposed to rain 20-30 liters per day. That would be certain death for the plant. Let's wait and see how it actually turns out. I have stopped applying fertilizer for now. In addition, watering has been reduced to cause some drought stress and thus stimulate terpene production.

BudBeezy Welcome to week 12 and finally the last week of my grow diary. As predicted, the weather has taken a turn for the worse, so I've decided to harvest. If the weather had been better, I would have given it another 1.5 to 2 weeks, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about that. The outdoor season has therefore come to an early end. It would be great to live in a place where it works all year round without any problems.
A brief summary of Sour Jealousy:
This strain is simply fantastic. Super easy to grow. Apart from a minor incident with mildew, I had no problems. The citrusy, creamy terpenes are right up my alley, and I hope the effect is too. In the end, the plant grew bigger than I had imagined, but I was able to see from other diaries how the plant would develop. Chubbs Sour Jealousy was even bigger. This strain will definitely end up in my indoor tent again so I can get the max potential out of it.
See you next week for the conclusion of the diary!
What can I say about Sour Jealousy? It's super easy to grow. She handled topping really well without stopping growth. I had no problems with it at all. No nutrient deficiencies or anything else. Due to environmental factors, I had a brief bout of mildew, but that can happen with any other strain. The terpenes are simply amazing. Super fresh, fruity, and at the same time creamy and doughy. In terms of yield, this is the best outdoor automatic I've ever had. Four weeks after drying and curing, I tried some. It's really smooth to smoke and doesn't leave you feeling sluggish. It's the perfect strain to treat yourself to on a weekend morning while still being able to get things done during the day.
All in all, an absolute 10/10!
I hope you enjoyed following my diary. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. See you next year, probably with a photoperiod strain, and of course one from FastBuds. Let's see what comes onto the market soon. In my opinion, they are the best breeders when it comes to automatics! I'll have to test the photoperiod ones soon too. Probably in the next indoor grow and then outdoors next year.
