lolasher The growth phase summarized briefly: Eight weeks of growth with some minor hurdles. The biggest one was when the tent was briefly open while I went to get water, and a cat thought that the warm light from above was great for napping. The fact that two plants lost a complete side branch because of that is beside the point... The only plant that remained untouched unfortunately suffered from (presumably) overwatering in the early growth stage, but it recovered quite quickly, though it's lagging behind a bit.

lolasher The first week of flowering is over. The stretch is clearly noticeable. The "complete" plant suffered significantly during the transition to flowering. It turned quite yellow. Since then, its watering has always included some CalMag, and it is visibly recovering. The other two are doing well with the nutrients and only get pH-regulated tap water. The Adlites Red have been integrated into the light cycle.

lolasher The stretch continues. For the current size, the left plant has decent stems! Generally speaking, it's also the strongest in growth and development so far. But there are also injuries: a side branch got bent when a side lamp was accidentally touched and fell down...

lolasher End of the third week: It's getting frosty! Three days ago, the stretch was pretty much over, so I defoliated properly yesterday. I'm very happy with how things look so far. I want to visually spruce up the third, back plant a bit. CalMag worked quite well, but it's still slightly lighter than the other plants. I'm open to suggestions here.

lolasher The fourth week of flowering is over: It's slowly starting to smell (really!) like cherries. I thought this was all just a marketing joke, but they really do smell like cherries - so good! Unfortunately, despite the low temperature (Day: 20, Night: 15) and pH-reduced water (5.5), no Purple... although... one of them shows slight color changes under macro shots (see photo). Otherwise, there were no special occurrences. The buds are growing and growing. :-) But! I now see myself as something like a god of creepy crawlies. After declaring the fruit flies non-viable, they’re trying to satisfy me in their hundreds as offerings on yellow traps. They can forget it. I added nematodes to the soil - they’re now eating the babies.

lolasher The fifth week of flowering is over: I haven't done much. The buds are visibly swelling every day, and the smell has developed towards cherry gum. On the right plant, a little red tint is developing. Signs of purpling? That would be cool.

lolasher End of the sixth week: The plants were defoliated one last time today. It'll stay like this until harvest - unless any leaves give up the ghost on their own. The smell is really intense by now! The activated carbon filter is doing a good job, so it's all good. The buds are still getting thicker and thicker. They look a bit stretched for their age, but I'll blame it on the light… The flowers are FULL of trichomes - I'm really curious to see how the final product turns out.

lolasher Another week has passed and it's slowly heading into the final stretch. I think I'll take them down in no more than two weeks.

lolasher The last week has begun. Not much was done. Every 3 days, 3 liters of water per plant.

lolasher All the plants were harvested yesterday and hung up to dry at 16-18 degrees and around 55-60% humidity. The buds are rock hard and there was absolutely no popcorn. Even the smallest buds are completely usable.
