Growth, Size & the Space Nightmare True to its Sativa dominance, Choco Haze is not a strain for the space-challenged. It grows into a true beast that can quickly fill an indoor space and can reach heights of up to 160 cm. For us growers, this means: those who do not keep it in check through consistent training techniques like Low Stress Training (LST) or topping risk letting it dominate the grow space. Its flowering time is considered "fast" at 9 to 10 weeks for a Sativa-dominant plant. But beware: this doesn't mean it doesn't require attention. Its sheer size and bushy structure demand a watchful eye. 3. Aroma & Terpenes: When Chocolate Meets Lemon The aroma of Choco Haze is an olfactory time travel. First, you perceive a fruity base with distinct citrus notes, followed by the sweet, light chocolate note that rounds off the taste experience. This unique flavor profile is the result of a scientific composition of terpenes. The Zamnesia variant features a terpene base of Ocimene and Limonene. Limonene is the terpene responsible for the invigorating fruitiness, while Ocimene contributes to the complexity with its sweet, herbal notes. The chocolate note is the result of a complex interplay of other aromatic compounds from its OG Chocolate Thai lineage. 4. Effect & Use: Mental Clarity Instead of Couch-Lock Choco Haze is the exact opposite of a sedative. It triggers a predominantly cerebral, uplifting, and euphoric high that does not end in debilitating sedation. The effect is described as "mental, liberating, and energetic," lifting the mood and perfect for creative activities or social occasions. With a THC content of up to 19% in the Zamnesia variant, it is notably potent. 5. Special Features: The Pitfall of Vulnerability Choco Haze is a diva with its little quirks. While it is considered robust and resistant to pests, other sources report that this strain has low mold resistance. This is a critical point that requires meticulous ventilation and careful monitoring in the late flowering phase. The truth lies somewhere in between, and the savvy grower always prepares for the worst. However, it rewards your undivided attention with a unique high that makes it the perfect choice for anyone seeking a clear, focused effect. Week 1: The Germination Week * Day 0.1: After soaking in 1% H₂O₂ for 10 hours, the seed was planted in the substrate, [Easy Plug]. * Day 0.2: The patience phase begins. We wait for the seed to break its shell. * Day 0.3/0.4: The first signs of life are visible. The seedling pair breaks through the substrate after we observed a first bulge in the substrate surface. We then increased the DLI from about 12 to 16 to give the seedling enough light. * Day 0.5: We removed the cover to lower the relative humidity to about 80% and increased the light intensity to 20 DLI. * Day 0.6: Everything is under control. The plant shows vigorous growth. The first "true leaves" are unfolding, and the seedling has already rooted through the Easy Plug. The next larger pot is needed. * Day 0.7: The light dome was removed. The relative humidity now drops to 60–65%, encouraging the plant to build a strong root system. * Fertilization & Measurements: No fertilizer or water needed.
