Moved the Strawberry cough Sonoma Seeds from the Seed tray to the DWC 5 Gallon bucket.
* Seedling seemed to take well to the transfer with no drooping of plant which i was worried about.
First time DWC Grow
PH level was high over the last week, found a webpage that said lemon juice brings down the PH level, gave it a try. Success.
Drooping of plant was observed during the High PH moment, Gave the hydroponic water 10ml of lemon juice Plant Perked up in about 3 hours later healthy and growing still.
I am using 11 liters of water, so the bucket is only half full of water, I wanted the roots to reach down rather then stay submerged in Nutrient water. Plant seems to be taking well to the stress, But I am not gonna be doing LST on this plant, it's rather small and bushy which my grow tent could handle. Plus the stem is pretty thick to bend it now. Should've gotten to it sooner.
Explosive growth this past weed, gonna switch out the LED light to a HID cause of the mass growth that happened.
Topped the plant three days ago, No issues as always.
So Far it appears I am having a Easy and Fun time of It. 😇
Always Good to have a hobby
My Vivosun 400W Ballast also has Adjustable settings of 400w, 250w, 150w
Am pleased with that purchase
I am Using 250W right now will adjust it higher further along.
Edit: not going to correct it.
This will be the last week of Vegetation I believe, roots are healthy, I am changing the water every 5 days rather then waiting 7 days
Had issues where the nutrient water became "jelly like" with a layer of it everywhere. I avoid by changing water more frequently.
Now for the Water cooler in the picture, I got a plan...
Homemade Nutrient water chiller It's an old Black&dekker bottom loading water cooler.
The pump that brings water to the top still works and the valves are working, More importanly the refrigeration unit is working still, I am just waiting for a temperature controller to come in and I should have a Picture by Picture walk through to get it done.
No temp controller yet for homemade chiller, but the plant is doing good regardless, growth is still happening and at a rapid rate.
Roots are healthy still and no residue or darkening is observed.
I have never had a Plant this big in my tent before, glad I did not get a second one going at the same time.
Had Soil potted ones before three in total but the height was managable with all three. They froze to death during the winter (long story short: Floor was to cold and the Roots froze).
a Clone (week 3) , also bounced back on left over nutrient water i gave it, surprised at that 😋
Plant is in Flowering stage, made it.
Now judging by the pictures do I have enough room?
Plant is chugging water down like mad, so i fill up the bucket to the holes where the air lines come in. about 3 inches below the top.
This plant was just a experiment if I could actually make it happen with hydroponics, but now I'm sold on it and most likely wont go back to indoor soil grow again.
Temp controller for DIY chiller was damage during shipment, another is on it's way, I am still planning on making it.
