AsAboveSoBelow Hey you lovely lovers, I'm starting a new run together with my partner in a tent measuring 120x60x180, Substrate composition in the 100L pot: 40L Floratorf 25L Edelbims 25L worm humus 25L compost 10L rice husks 10L activated plant charcoal 700g alfalfa 600g malted barley 500g kelp meal 500g shrimp meal 500g bat guano 300g neem cake 200g leonardite plus the Universal Amentment Mix for 100L from Almicanna ... all mixed together results in about 140L of soil. Substrate in my partner's 16L pots ... recycled soil, originally similar to the soil from the 100L pot, but is upgraded after each run with some sun soil activator, HMP, worm humus, compost, etc. and left to rest in the basement for 4 months. About a week ago, most of the seeds popped, and I have a latecomer that just showed its little head a few days ago. So far, the plan is 2x Serious Seeds Motavation in the 100L pot plus 3x Mimosa x Orange Punch each in 16L shoes. Most of the plants have already pushed their roots through the cardboard of the seedling pots, even worms have found their way from the 100L pot into the little cardboard pots :D

AsAboveSoBelow Now, after a good week, the plants have developed well in their new pots. The fungus gnats are also feeling great again despite the nematodes & Culinex... I just can never get rid of those little pests 😲

AsAboveSoBelow Another week has gone by, and the plants are still doing well. All except for the latecomer were topped a few days ago, and the motivation was lightly trained today. The Mimosa grow so problem-free after topping that I don't even need to train them.

AsAboveSoBelow Somehow, I'm not really happy with the growth of the three Mimosa x Orange Punch. 2 plants of the Mimosa are stretching like crazy (currently BT11/transition), and one plant is growing rather squat and bushy. The two Motivation plants are both growing equally bushy and squat and are now also starting to stretch properly. Both Sanlights are currently running at 70%, and after the stretch, I will increase to a maximum of 80% and keep it that way until harvest.

AsAboveSoBelow Today at BT 19, I swung the scissors a few times and made the plants a bit naked down below, plus did some serious defoliation.

AsAboveSoBelow Today at BT 31 everything is still going great, no signs of deficiencies or other problems. The Mimosa x Orange Punch now smells really fruity but nothing really special. The Motavation, on the other hand, exudes a captivating scent of pine, especially the front plant; the back Motavation has also picked up a slight hint of pine, but it's still overpowered by the smell of citrus and fresh paint. The growth form of the two Motavation plants is also slightly different; the front one has stretched more and is currently developing pointier buds where the pistils are already turning light brown, while the back plant is more compact with rounder buds and still snowy white pistils.

AsAboveSoBelow Unfortunately, I only have an update on BT 55 for you now; I didn't take any more pictures of the grow in between. Around BT 40, the Motivation started to act up a bit, but that was my own fault since I overwatered it. It seems like it can't handle that and might have left some potential behind. The M x O is slowly getting more colorful and smells very fruity; I'm liking it more and more. The Motivation has two different phenotypes; the back one strongly resembles the Warlock, and I can't really assess the front one yet. Its buds are growing like little pine cones and smell strongly of coniferous wood. With the Mimosa x Orange Punch, we have a complete phenol lottery; all three plants look different, but they all smell relatively similar. The trichomes on all the plants are glassy/milky; I think I'll give them another week and then we'll see.

AsAboveSoBelow Today on BT 58, I lightly watered for the last time, and in two days, I'll be chopping. Both plants have formed a double stem for me. I only know this mutation from Serious Seeds so far; I had the same thing with a Strawberry AK.
